On a cruise stopping at Aqaba overnight. Decided wanted to float in the Dead Sea. Long car journey but glad we went. The actual sensation of being in the water is very strange and it is difficult to stand up after a short time. The resort got very crowded later in the day as bus loads arrived. Try to go early. Take water shoes as the sand if hot and a bit rocky in places
