A Real 5-Star Tour

Great tour 5-star. Ravish, our Guide and Driver, arrived at our hotel right on time. Car was like new, spacious, and immaculate. Ravish’s English was great so no trouble communicating. He was also very knowledgeable about all the places and sites we visited. Our border tour was also amazing. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone who has come to Amritsar to both see and learn about the local sites. A great driver and great guide as well!

Words genuinely cannot describe how fantastic, fulfilling, and memorable this Amritsar city tour and Wagah Border ceremony was. From start to finish, everything was seamless, meaningful, and extremely well organized. Our guide, Ronit, brought Amritsar to life in a truly special way. From the moment we were picked up until the end of the day, we felt completely looked after — comfortable, happy, and at ease throughout. The care, patience, and attention to detail were exceptional. What stood out most was the passion with which the city was shared. Every location came with depth, history, and context, delivered in a way that was engaging, respectful, and easy to connect with. The day never felt rushed, and we were always checked on and made to feel welcome. The Wagah Border ceremony was powerful and moving, and experiencing it as part of such a thoughtfully planned day made it even more special. Without question, this was the best part of our entire trip across India. A fascinating and entertaining trip with excellent Ronit as our guide and his colleague Ravi as our driver. Following our hotel pickup we travelled a short distance to the area which incorporates the Partition museum and memorial gardens and the fabulous Golden Temple. Both were very moving in their own ways and Ronit was able to provide some history and background. The Temple was a magical experience both in terms of the shere size and beauty of the buildings along with a sense of calm and faith despite the huge number of people there. It was also very humming to see so many people being fed and looked after by the volunteers. After a short break we made our way to the Wagah Border for the Indian and Pakistani military show. What we saw and heard was a very entertaining military marching show which delighted the mainly Indian crowds. It was a loud and colourful event and we were so glad to have witnessed the show.

Raviish Ji was our guide and was punctual, arriving at the hotel exactly at the agreed time. He took us to all the places we had planned. He demonstrated excellent knowledge of the Golden Temple, including lesser-known entrances and hidden areas, making the experience truly special. He even allowed us to participate in community service at the temple and kindly accommodated our request to eat the Langar. At the Wagah Border, he guided us through the VIP line and secured excellent seating for the entire ceremony. Raviish Ji is humble, knowledgeable, and a pleasure to be with. We loved the entire tour and highly recommend this company.

Best tour we did in India

The tour was great, the perfect pace and amount of things included in the day. The break in the middle of the day was a good, he gave us some recommendations for lunch and coffee (and the additional option to tour the museum). He was also kind enough to allow an additional person to join in the afternoon for the border ceremony after our friend arrived later in the day. He was really knowledgeable and great to chat to.

This tour was just an amazing experience 🙌 Our tour guide Ravish & driver made us feel very welcoming. This was first time for my partner to visit India & she was very unsure what to expect being a British woman. Ravish explained religious & history details which I myself wasn't aware of & was an history lesson for myself. The Golden Temple was just amazing to see such an beautiful architecture. It felt magical as we went during a holy festival. Seeing the community kitchen was an amazing experience watching volunteers & engaging with variety of people. Golden Temple was an amazing experience for my British partner & she was so overwhelmed. Wagah Border was just phenomenal watching Border Security Force marching, doing high kicks & putting on an amazing display 👏 I would highly recommend this particular tour & Ravish was such a great tour guide with his knowledge & really looked after us 🙏🏽

Great way to see the Golden temple, sites of Amritsar and border closing ceremony with India and Pakistan

March 2025 We embarked on a tour of Amritsar . We started with a tour of the massacre site in 1929 . It was very poignant . We then went to the Golden temple and had a tour of the Langar kitchen . It was just incredible to see the logistics and volunteers prepping the food and meals . It’s such a place of reverence with the band playing the Kirtans. . It’s so peaceful . We went to the partition museum and then got dropped off to rest at our hotel and then picked up for the border closing ceremony. What a spectacle that was - like nowhere else in the world can you witness this . Just an amazing experience. Our guide then dropped us off at a restaurant he recommended- the beer story . They organised a uber for us back to the hotel . The guide was very attentive and shared a lot of knowledge.we felt comfortable with his driving . Definitely recommend this trip .

The trip was amazing from start to finish. Super comfortable car. Great driver. Our guide Ravish was incredible. Super knowledgeable and gave us great tips when at wagha border. They took us to a great lunch spot which has some amazing food. I booked this trip the afternoon prior to taking the trip and I'm so glad we did. I couldn't recommend them enough.

A grand day out in Amritsar.

Our guide Rishi Kholi picked us up as arranged at the hotel at a very civilised 0900. He was also our driver and his vehicle was clean and tidy. The traffic in Amritsar was crazy but Rishi drove well and we felt safe. We parked in the town centre and strolled through the busy streets to the Golden Temple where we discarded our shoes and then toured the complex. Rishi was knowledgeable and very imfomative. We then visited the Jallianwala Bagh where Indians were massacred by the British army before visiting the Partition museum. The tour was conducted at our own pace. We declined the opportunity to go shopping or to have lunch in town and were returned to our hotel about 1200 to rest Rishi then collected us at 1330 to take us to the India/Pakistan border. He showed us Attari station where refugees travelled to and from Lahore after partition then led us to the stadium for the Wagah border ceremony. This is quite a spectacle and thoroughly recommend. We met Rishi after the ceremony and he drove us back to the hotel. This was an excellent tour. Rishi is a great ambassador for Amritsar and I cannot praise him highly enough . Thank you.

Outstanding! Rishi, our guide, met us (me and my college-age son) at our hotel -- Golden Temple first, including walking through the food preparation and dining areas. Then, walk to Jaillianwala Bagh massacre site. Finally, for part one, to Partition Museum. Rishi engaged and answered questions. Wholly professional. Part two was after a lunch and nap break -- drive with Rishi to Wagah/Attari border crossing flag-lowering ceremony. I have seen YouTube videos, but wow, the real thing is an experience not to be missed. I'm glad we went.

Our tour guide Rishi was a local and helped us learn many things about the places we visited, it’s history, cultural aspects, and tips to enjoy and make our experience memorable. Rishi was courteous, polite, friendly, and mingled with our pace very well. We enjoyed our day visiting Golden Temple, Community Kitchen, Jallianwala Bagh, Partition Museum, Lunch at Kulcha Land (one of the best local food experience Rishi suggested), Attari Railway Station, Wagah Border Flag Down Ceremony, and Pul Kanji Sarovar.
