A worthwhile introductory food tour, especially if it's your first couple of days in Amritsar

A good introduction of the street foods in Amritsar, although having some stories behind the foods would make them more memorable. All vegetarian dishes only as it's within the golden temple area. It will definitely get you full y the end of the tour. As I'm not a big eater, I feel bad about not finishing some dishes though.

Such an amazing food tour! Prarit was our guide and he was so accommodating with a time change on our part. He communicated very well before the tour to make sure we were going to the right meeting point. Prarit was kind, and knew SO MUCH about the food in Amritsar. He took us to the best street vendors in the city, and the food highlighted the best of Indian cuisine in this area of the country. As a foodie, he was able to answer all of my questions, no matter how precise. He arranged transportation at the end it help us get back to the hotel which was an extremely helpful. Also, huge thing, he only took us to places that were safe and the food if cooked with water was from a bottle so there would be no hygienic problems. I couldn’t recommend this tour more!! A must do before leaving Amritsar.
