This is the best way to make the six hour round trip from Alexandria to Giza. Our guide, Mahmoud, took us everywhere we wanted to go and nowhere we didn’t.

First let me say how easy it was to book a tour through Viator. Easy to search and reserve. Second, let me comment on JoJo Tours. They were very communicative and helpful in ads aspects, keeping in touch via WhatsApp. And saving the best for last. Driver Mr George and guide, Naelah, were a great team to provide a wonderful excursion from Alexandria to Giza. Both offered us date filled biscuits to enjoy along the way. Mr George drove like a pro in the crazy traffic. Naelah was so knowledgeable on the history of the pyramids and the various artifacts in the GEM. During the drive she shared diagrams of the pyramids with their entrances and tunnels. She was especially kind and considerate to my husband, who has difficulty walking any distance. She was very patient to wait on him and offer him a helping hand when he faltered. If you’re ever in Alexandria and need a private tour to Giza, do yourself a favor and book with Naelah through Jojo Tours and Viator. I can’t say enough good things about the wonderful day we had.

I booked a private tour of Giza from Alexandria with Wessam. I knew it would be a long day. She paced the trip beautifully, starting a little earlier than originally booked. We arrived at the pyramids before midday and I was able to walk around on my own for a while. Magnificent structures were awesome inspiring. But watch for the local "guides" who want to give you something and take pictures for free but really want to be paid, lol. Wassam then took me to see the sphinx, my main fascination, which was AWESOME. She took some great pictures and explained so much history. We had a lovely lunch, went to state run stores for shopping Egypt's best, and ended our time in Giza at the newly opened GEM, museum of antiquities. What a spectacular place! Massage guided me to the best of the museum displays, explaining their fascinating history as we went through it. Definitely worthy of a return visit. Then back to Alexandria. A long and fascinating day with an expert tour guide!

We were on a cruise that landed in Alexandria. Wanting to see the Pyramids we sought a tour and found Jojo tour with Viator. We met our guide Mohammed just outside the port gate. He sent us a WhatsApp message with his picture and where to meet him. Was super easy! Then he messaged our driver Alhem that we arrived and brought the car, which was a newer model Toyota but the back seat for almosr 6hrs to Ciaro and back was not that good on our older bodies. Mohammed was great, we booked the 10hr tour which was the Pyramids, Sphinx and new Grand Museum and lunch. We told him we didn't want to linger at site, just take a picture and off to the next. He happily accommodated this but I think he really wanted to tell us everything about each location so he quickly condensed it. Lunch was at Egy Restaraunt and our tour included lunch that wasn't a Buffet so that was surprising. Meat was great but everything else...mehhh. Our driver was awesome! He came back for us at the Museum and the Police took his license as we took to long getting out!
No bazaar or Papyrus shop! If we wanted to stop to one he would have taken us to one that wasn't high pressure sales.
Even with the ticket hiccup they were great. This is a tour tour MUST take...well worth it.

A long day but absolutely worth it. The pyramids are of course a bucket list destination and we so enjoyed the chance to see them and the photo of us on a camel with pyramids behind is something we will treasure forever.

OMG The tour was everything we had hoped for. Starting in the morning we were called by our tour guide Dina. She sent us a photo so we would know who she was. She had a sign with our name too. In the private car she gave us some snacks and water. Before we even got out of Alexandria she began to give us on the beginnings of Egypt. We could understand her english very well. We arrived at the great pyramids and it was amazing to see. We wanted to go on camels so she arranged that. That was a lot of fun. Our camels owner was a character too. He was nice and he took pics of us.
The pyramids were amazing. To be right next to them was something I never thought I would do. Dina knew everything about the history, the construction and their residents. She was so interesting to listen to because of her passion.
We saw the sphinx and that was equally awesome. After we ate lunch at a local restaurant. It was a taste of Egypt and the food was good. The last stop was the new National Museum which houses the antiquities. Very modern and it was designed perfectly for all the grandness of what was inside.
Our driver Meshmout was excellent too. Navigating around the cities is no easy task. He drove us to every stop and was there when we finished. A smooth operation for sure.
I would definitely recommend this excursion it is beyond your expectations.

What can I say but ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!! 5 Stars in not enough! Mirette was an absolute joy to work with planning and customizing our tour. Mahmoud, our guide was so knowledgeable and genuinely intent in making sure we had the best experience. Mahmoud is fantastic!
It is always best when a tour goes without a hitch. However, the real test of a tour company is how they handle those hiccups. Through no fault of the tour company our group had a couple of hiccups. Mirette, Mahmoud and our driver, Ahmed, were incredibly caring and professional, working together to resolve those hiccups, even though it wasn’t their hiccups.
As for our driver, Ahmed, he was incredible, navigating the streets, highways and Egyptian traffic with incredible skill.

A great full day excursion visiting the Pyramids, Sphinx and the Grand Egyptian Museum GEM. We had a great knowledgeable guide Dina and our driver was fantastic maneuvering through the traffic. Our guide was so easy to understand and we had a great lunch.

The provider does not have the permits to come onto the cruise port in Alexandria. The provider does not have the permits to go onto the Giza Plateau. With that being said, I wish I would have done more research on what to expect. The Pyramid complex was only open for 2 hours when we finally arrived. We rushed through, got a few pics. We were then taken to a friend/family’s shops and then to another. When we protested and requested to go back to the ship, our requests were ignored. We finally made it back to the ship. The tour guide provided no commentary on our tour. She just checked her phone.
On the 3 hour drive to Cairo, we were not offered a break, to use the restroom.
The tour may be positive if it originated in Cairo,
The 5 other people, I was traveling with, felt the exact same way. This tour was not good value.
Unfortunately, my experience was negative. I would not recommend this company, nor would I rebook.

First of all , we deeply apologize for this .
I had also taken an action against this guide and she willnot be again with us .
But I want to make things clear about the time . the problem is that the cruise arrives Alexandria Port late around 11 am and the distance between Cairo and Alexandria takes about 3 hrs also the Pyramids close by 4 pm . You just arrived the pyramids by 2 pm so unfortuntaley there were only 2 hrs left for the pyramids visit . we tried to manage the timing as much as we can due to late arrival time for the cruise .

This tour was amazing! Our first stop was at the huge and magnificent newly opened Grand Egyptian Museum. Wow, what a collection and it’s not even half way filled with exhibits yet. The architecture of the building is incredible and during our two hour visit we were extensively filled in by our guide Hany.
Then on to the Pyramids and Sphinx complex where we zipped right in. We got there early enough to beat the crowds. Hany walked us around the Cheops Pyramid with great narration. Our driver picked us up and drove to a place where we had a fantastic view of all six pyramids. Then a stop for photos at the Sphinx followed by a delicious buffet lunch at a quiet restaurant.
Since the tour was private and customizable we decided to skip the shopping and head back to the ship. As I’m sure anyone who has been there knows, navigating through Cairo and Alexandria is no small task but our driver was amazing! He managed to avoid hitting pedestrians crossing the street, cars zipping from lane to lane, buses, motorcycles, camels, dogs, horse drawn carriages and children walking in traffic trying to hawk their wares.
I give this tour and the company the highest marks. Their knowledge of what we were seeing and care they took to keep us safe is first rate!

Time pyramids a little short .. itinerary and schedule respected .Meal average, Mohamed driver very well, Dina. Good explanations on the way .. then nothing more to the museum .. surprise by the Grand Museum we expect more light on the big avenue unfortunately too dark
