Paragliding Panic

We booked this last minute 11 pm night before as my wife has heart condition and is scared of heights but likes to challenge herself on holiday and it had been yes/no all week then she suddenly decided she wanted to try. After safety briefing it's 20 minute minibus ride up the mountain and once we got out she was panicking and almost crying, saying she couldn't do it. Myself and 15 year old son reassured her she didn't have to do it if she didn't want to but she just shut down and was shaking. Her pilot talked to her told her to put the harness on and 2 others talked to her as they got ready and walked her to take off area. Everyone one was so calm and matter of fact no pressure or pushing her to do it, reassured her everyone is scared first time and just walked her through it step by step and next thing she was in the air. She loved it and couldn't believe the big smile on her face in the photos and video. The instructors are brilliant and made it an amazing experience for all of us. The only downside is the cost of photos and videos but after the inevitable haggling for a once in a lifetime experience it's well worth it.
