Helpful friendly guide. Picked us up on time and took us back to hotel when we had seen enough.
Saw the sights and got an insight to how agadir is growing. Knowledgeable guide who spike good English.
We felt a little pressure to buy in the artisan market. Guide was just trying to be helpful but it would have been better to have looked around by ourselves.

This was the best thing we did on our 5 days tour to Agadir. Wahid is a brilliant person, he was so kind, generous and caring. He followed the itinerary but at our pace. I had found something beautiful in the Berber souk but didn't buy it, I mentioned to him and he took me back to the souk and helped me buy it. He also fulfilled our wish of trying the avocado shake and added an extra stop in the itinerary to make it happen. His humor and wit kept us entertained throughout and his photography skills are so brilliant that all of us have insta worthy pictures now. I will definitely book travels with him again and I cannot recommend him enough to everyone. Please do yourself a favour and book him, it will be a memorable experience

Wahid is simply the best. He took me and my daughter around, explained the history, took photos of me and my daughter, and even took us to the local markets, which we loved. He went above and beyond to make sure we saw and experienced what we wanted.

Medina Polizzi is an absolutely fantastic building to visit as are the grounds. A great way to spend two hours. Really enjoyed visiting the market used by locals in south Agadir as we were the only tourists. Waheed, our driver and guide, was excellent. He was very informative and flexible as to what we wanted to do but offered own suggestions as well. Our time overran but that wasn’t a problem for him. Overall a really great trip.

First time visit to Morocco & my partner & I thought this would be a great way to experience the true Agadir, what it has to offer.
It started off well, our guide Wahed? arrived early to collect us & off we went. First stop was up to the top of the Agadir hill top to the Ou Fella / Kasbah building. He parked up & told us "20 minutes" . What a beautiful place this was, gorgeous views & beautiful historic places. We'd just started looking around / enjoying exploring the place but our time was up. We were quite disappointed by this, but was keen to see where we were going next.
Next stop was an Argan oil shop ( we weren't expecting this)..a staff member was waiting for us & ushered us in & we sat & watched a video about the making of Argon oil... then given the " opportunity" to purchase some. Which we did. Then back in the van to see a large mosque. Impressive building, shame we were harassed by beggars there. We drove on a busy tourist street - lots of shops where we were asked if wanted to go shopping. We politely declined as we came on the tour to visit the historical places not just shopping, which we can do in our own time.
Then it was a quick drive to the huge Souk market. He introduced us to another guide who was to (escort) us around there. On entering the Souk we felt excited to be there to just hopefully have a pleasant wander around, but how wrong we were ! The chap took us through a fruit & veg market whilst on route to what we realised was a ' planned" stop at a certain market stall. The vendor was extremely rude, insistent and pushy. He basically showed us all his stock in a very rushed manner, forcing us to smell the different spices & herbs etc. Then told us to sit & he persisted to make us sample various creams/ make up (& more argon oil) . He poured us the traditional mint tea, which we are aware is meant as a ' hospitable ' gesture. Again, this was very rushed, my partner had already tried the tea on our arrival in Morocco & didn't like it, but drank it anyway as we didn't wish to seem ungrateful. The vendor became almost forceful in manner, asking what we were going to buy. We felt extremely uncomfortable with this & realised we had been placed in the lions den - the tourist trap. We ended up purchasing a couple of small items but he didn't seem happy with this & became quite hostile. We were glad to finally leave. We tried to relax & continue around the market but both felt extremely stressed by this experience & just wanted to leave. The guide contacted the driver who came to pick us up, ( they both muttered to each other in Arabic , we presumed with their gestures & body language was discussing how much we had spent!). All this made us feel really uneasy & my partner felt sick having drank the tea he didn't like. We told him we just wanted to return back to our hotel, which then he didn't seem happy about either. The journey back the driver wasn't all chatty anymore.
All in all.. a terrible experience, not a sight seeing tour at all.. just a scam to intimidate tourists to get them to spend as much money as possible.
We are contacting the tour operator to inform them of this awful treatment of customers who just want to see the sights of Agadir, not be pressured into horrible situations.
Avoid & look elsewhere.

We had a wonderful trip with Wahed. He's very friendly and humorous. Besides visiting the regular tourist spots, he also took us to his local souk and let us have the authentic Moroocan market experience. The market is so vast with so many stalls selling fruits, sweets, almond butter, household items, argan soaps and oil at unbelievably reasonable prices. We even got to try raw honey with the comb. It isn't a tourist trap at all. We surely enjoyed our tour!

Momo was a wonderful tour guide and very knowledgeable. Beautiful day for a camel ride in front of the Casbah! We ended the day at a smaller artisanal market which had tasty food and great shopping with the best prices.

I enjoyed this half day tour with Momo. He provided transport to the key sights that included the Kasbah, the reconstructed Medina and the Berber craftmarket where I explored independently. Momo was kind and happy to help. I gave it 4 stars because I booked this as a private tour but I unexpectedly ended up sharing it with a family of 4, and we were taken to an argon oil shop which wasn't on the itinerary and of no interest to me personally.

Although Momo was a charming and knowledgeable guide, we realised afterwards that he had not followed the itinerary. He only gave us a third of the stated time at the Medina and completely missed out the Soukh!
Viator did eventually agree to refund 50% but if you take this tour make sure the driver follows the itinerary and don't let him deviate to argan oil co-operatives or Berber markets that aren't on the listed agenda...
