I had a wonderful day with my guide Abdou in Agadir. I was picked up from my hotel and given an informative drive through tour of the city. We stopped at several places for photos and to explore. I was able to go shopping with a local guide who helped me with haggling and negotiating as well as navigating the souk, and then was promply picked up again to complete my tour. Abdou has so many years of experience and made my first day in Agadir both informative and welcoming. Thank you!

CousCous our driver was great. Very knowledgeable, also spoke very good English. He even picked us up at Cruise ship. It was a small group and he kept us away from large groups.

Don’t waste your money on this taxi ride

This 3 hour tour took 2 hours and 10 minutes. The guide (I use the term loosely) didn’t introduce himself, probably didn’t want to be mentioned. We drove around the marina without stopping, then up to the location of the old fortified town, very little information, 15 minutes to look at the view. Next stop an argan oil demonstration, interesting but very fast, then the sales pitch, the products had hugely inflated prices, she wasn’t pushy. He then forgot the mosque until prompted by us, it was closed so we had 10 minutes to look at the outside. Next stop we were dropped at the Souk for 1 hour 20 minutes. We enjoyed the souk but it would have been cheaper to get a taxi there. Very disappointing tour, the guide spoke English well but was merely a taxi driver.

Our standard city tour program includes the Marina panoramic drive, visit to Kasbah Agadir Oufella, an optional visit to a local argan cooperative, exterior view of Mohamed V Mosque (as interior access depends on prayer times), and free time at Souk El Had. The duration can sometimes vary slightly depending on traffic conditions and guest preferences during the visit. Regarding the guide introduction and explanations, this is not the level of service we aim to provide. We will address this internally to ensure all guides properly introduce themselves and provide detailed historical and cultural information throughout the tour. Concerning the argan cooperative, we would like to clarify that purchasing products is always optional, and we do not control product pricing as the cooperative operates independently.
