Seeing the goats climbing the argan trees was truly unique and something I had never seen before. The guide was friendly, the stop was well organized, and we had plenty of time to take photos. A must-do activity when visiting Agadir. Highly recommended

This tour was recommended to us by a friend and we were looking forward to it. Our booked session was cancelled twice in a row, both with less than 12 hours notice but we did finally get to go. It was good to see the goats. You should be aware, however, that this is a staged set-up. You pull in at the side of the motorway. The goatherd has brought the goats to this area. About 8 are up one tree and the rest are roaming. You can hold one of the babies. They are very cute! The ones in the tree have been trained to stay there so tourists can photograph them. It wasn’t clear how this happens. We saw one come down from the tree but didn’t see any climbing or reaching for the fruit, they stayed still. It was cool to see them but didn’t feel a very authentic experience. We were then taken to a place that makes and sells argan oil products. There was a hurried talk about the process, then we watched a short video. It was interesting to learn about the process but would have been good to have a more interactive or detailed presentation, or to meet/learn about some of the women who create the products. There is a shop on-site but no pressure to make a purchase. All transportation is included, which I think justifies the otherwise high price.

Don’t waste your money or time. Having been to see goats and a argan coop years ago I wanted to share the experience with my daughter…..but This was very disappointing. We went to the side of the road in Agadir and there hardly any goats in the trees, plenty on the ground though which isn’t the draw. Then we drove to the center to of town to basically a store and watched a 2min video on argan oil and they wanted to charge insane amounts. It was very disappointing not to go to a true coop to see women make the oil like there tours offer.

I got to see the goats and visit the argan oil factory so guess I did what it advertised.
It is overpriced and the driver said no more than 2 words the whole time we were with him. I was nervous as this was my first solo excursion luckily I met another lady who was on her own and she was great company.
Def will NOT be recommending this trip to my friends who are planning a visit to Agadir.

Fun morning seeing the goats climbing the Argan trees.
Wife held a baby goat for a photograph.
Where closed footwear.

From start to finish our tour guide Muhammad was really friendly.
Great tour guide and driver. Also very punctual.

Absolutely brilliant morning. Guide arrived on time in a very clean and safe mini-van. Short drive to the goats which were brilliant. The shepherds were extremely gentle with the goats and we were able to hold a baby and feed some of the olde goats berries. The trip to the factory was informative and in no way pushed to buy anything.

Our Agadir morning tour was a peaceful and delightful experience. While our guide was very quiet, the chance to see the famous argan tree-climbing goats in person was incredibly fun. The highlight of the trip was definitely snuggling a sweet baby kid, making it a perfect excursion for any animal lover.

I had an amazing experience during the Goats on Tree activity in Agadir. It was truly unique and unforgettable to see the goats climbing the argan trees. Everything was well organized, and the guide was friendly, professional, and very informative. A must-do activity for anyone visiting the region. Highly recommended!

Fantastic to watch these goats climbing the trees. Could also interact with the goats on the ground as well as being able to hold one that was only 2 days old. The visit to the co-operative which followed was an opportunity to purchase proper authentic argan oil. I would recommend this trip despite the price in my opinion being slightly too high.

There were goats in trees, it was excellent. The goats were very friendly although there were a couple of bigger scarier ones but I just kept clear of them. I loved playing with the goats.
The argan oil shop afterwards was rough because I was very sleepy but you're not there long.

It was a nice trip seeing goats . They were lovely , especially babies . Mohammed arrived on time to pick us up from the hotel. He was very friendly, polite and knowledgeable.

Fab trip - our driver Omar was really helpful and informative . The goats really do climb the trees for the Argan fruit and you have time with the herd including the babies which are so soft! The Argan cooperative visit was really interesting - highly recommend the trip for a half day out

Fantastic experience. You can hold and feed the goats. There’s so many of them as well, saw some with horns locked and pushing each other

Our guide Adam was knowledgeable and friendly, speaking Arabic, French and English. The goats are approximately a 20 minute drive from the centre of Agadir, followed by a 20 minute drive to an Argan oil collective in the centre of Agadir which lasts about half an hour.

The trip itself was well organised with collection on time, safe driving, etc. We went direct to the place with goats, without stopping to visit tourist shops. On the return journey, there was one stop but I didn't enter the shop. I walked back to my hotel, instead. At the destination, I noticed most goats simply standing on branches, and not eating. I guessed they may have been placed there to create a false spectacle for tourists. A National Geographic article seems to confirm it, with suggestions of animal cruelty, especially on days with high temperatures. So, with hindsight, I should probably not have booked this trip.

We had a wonderful time visiting the Argan tree climbing goats! What an amazing sight to see. We even held one of the baby goats!
We then had the opportunity of buying Argan Oil products from the Argan Oil factory next to the large Agadir Mosque.
A lovely morning with our very friendly driver Mohammed. We were picked up on time from our hotel and could have been dropped off elsewhere if we had chosen too.
The tour was well priced and you certainly won’t see this anywhere else I know of.
Highly recommend if you travel to Agadir.

We thoroughly enjoyed meeting the goats! They were so cute and friendly and we got plenty of cuddles from the babies. To watch them climb the trees to eat the argan fruits was such a unique experience. The visit to the argan oil factory was also lovely with lots of nice products to purchase if you would like. Transport picked us up on time from our apartment and our driver was very friendly, well worth the money.

A culture filled experience with a side of goats. Our guide Mohammed was fantastic. Talking us through the process of harvesting argan oil. Grown exclusively in Agadir, we visited an argan tree site and we were able to roam around and befriend the flock of goats who scale the argan trees to eat the argan fruits. Mohammed was super friendly and kindly offered to take many beautiful pictures for us which we will cherish for a long time. After the goat visit, we drove down to the argan collective to learn more about the Berber culture and try out the products straight from the source, and leave with some beautiful souvenirs. After this he walked us over to the Mosque in agadir before driving us back to our hotel. Great experience

Just beautiful! The goats are absolutely charming, and you could even hold a baby goat if you'd like. Croco Parc is stunning, filled with fantastic plants and a variety of fascinating animals It was a perfect day, and our driver was very friendly. His English was excellent, and he drove very safely.

An unforgettable experience from start to finish! Mohammed, our guide, was excellent—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of fascinating insights about the history and key sights along the way. Watching the goats climb the trees was absolutely incredible, and getting to hold baby goats made it even more special—something you won’t see anywhere else!
We also visited a local cooperative, where we learned about traditional argan oil production and got to see the process firsthand. The people were welcoming and took the time to teach us about their culture. A unique adventure we’ll never forget.
David_K, Apr 2026
You don't see it every day. And the rest of the goats on the ground are already very cute, especially the kids, who don't seem annoyed when all the girls take them on their arms. Fun trip.
