Zaouli mask dance site was more than 30 minutes walk on poor, dirty, filthy road. We keep walking 30 minutes one way and dance site was still far. The guy from dance company was guiding the path and did not speak English. Our tour guide didn’t know how far we have to walk after 30 minutes walk. We were told that it’s 5 minutes walk by local guide. Finally we gave up walking and didn’t see the dance.

We are sorry that you did not get to see the Zaouli mask dance, as it is usually one of the highlights of this experience. However, we would like to clarify a few important points for future travelers. The Zaouli performers are not based in a tourist venue, but in a real village-like neighborhood in Abidjan where they live and rehearse. Visiting them is part of the cultural authenticity of the experience, and the access road reflects the local environment rather than a commercial attraction. On the day of your tour, the walk became longer because you refused to cross a small bridge that is completely safe and used daily by local residents, including families and children. This forced the group to take an alternative route that takes significantly more time. If you had mobility concerns, we would have gladly adjusted the program, but we were never informed in advance of any walking limitations. We would also like to mention that you completed the full city tour exactly as described on our page, including the visit to the Cathedral, which you expressed great appreciation for at the time and even tipped our guide afterward. Additionally, we picked you up and dropped you off near the airport/outside the city at no extra charge, even though this was outside the standard meeting area. Finally, since the Zaouli performance did not take place, you were not charged for the dance. We always aim to provide clear information and the best possible service, and we encourage all guests to inform us ahead of time if they have mobility issues so we can adapt the itinerary accordingly.

Sonia in the office was super helpful with better information than we initially got from the ship. Paul, the guide was professional and very accommodating. We saw everything on the itinerary very efficiently. A no stress visit to Abidjan. Highly recommend these folks. Great way to see a lot in a short period time.

We had the best time with our tour guide, Armando. He was very knowledgeable, kind, courteous and showed us lots of really cool things in his city. We had a great time, but still made it back in plenty of time to meet the shuttle to our cruise ship. If we are ever in Abidjan again, we will personally request him. Awesome experience! We highly recommend!

We had a fantastic time, the driver did a really good job and drove safely, the tour guide was knowledgeable and they were kind and welcoming as well as flexible with our booking (since we wanted to see a bit more of Abidjan/Grand Bassam). Great overview of the city

We were limited on time due to the ship docking late which allowed us to rush through the highlights of Abidjan. Prisca was in constant contact with us until we met Paul our guide who then took us to the car and started out tour. Paul was great in showing us around the city. We visited the church, museum and the market. It overall a nice tour with the exception of the heat and humidity which we were not use to and of course out of anyone's control. Thank you for the tour and showing us your beautiful country. José & William

Unfortunately, due to the late arrival of our ship, our tour had to be shortened by two hours but we still had a great time. The bus was air conditioned as promised and our guide Armando was very knowledgeable, easy to understand and gave us a lot of information. I found dealing with this company was super easy, their communication was great and they answered any questions I had very promptly. I highly recommend this company, they are very professional & you won’t be disappointed
