A pleasant guided tour through a local village, along with a brief forest walk and a fun time rowing out on the water with option to go for a refreshing swim! But the best part - the fabulous ten-finger feat! The food includes great salads and veggies, cows cows, yams, potatoes, fish and chicken! Truly delicious!

My mom and I are visiting Côte d’Ivoire for the first time and we’re looking for tours to experience the beautiful culture here. We found this tour on Viator and booked. Our tour guide, Charlene, with the Train and Travel tour company was so amazing and very patient. We do not speak French and she took her time to use the translator app to still explain a lot of information to us on our tour. I don’t feel like we missed much despite the language barrier! We were about to visit Bini Lagoon and walk through the Angorankoi and Koffakoi villages and meet so many beautiful natives. We had lunch prepared by the local village women and then went on a lagoon canoe tour. There is a 7km (4 mile) hike, so I would advise wearing good walking shoes. Also, most of the hike is through the forest, so bug repellent is a must to avoid the nasty biters. Overall, this was an amazing experience. Charlene made us feel so welcomed. I would 1000% recommend for any traveler looking for an authentic Ivorian experience.

Walking through the landscape with a wonderful guide who pointed out the plants and their characteristic and uses, and ultimately visiting a rural village for a sense of what life is and was like on the lagoon.
I never got to go on the tour. According to your description on the website, I was to meet the tour at the dock. I waited for a half hour and did not see them. Then I received an email from them saying they are leaving without me. I am not going to use Viator anymore, as the tour operator refuses to refund my money. I can’t rationalize spending over a hundred dollars and not being able to utilize the tour.

From Viator conversation history we have tried to reach the customers days before the tour to know where at the port they should be picked up. On the 7th we reached out to them through the number they provided no answer . 3 weeks later they request a refund while the guide been waiting for them at the meeting point for over 2hours. Once the guide wait we have to pay her.
The village was very interesting, especially to see that people still live such a natural, quiet and yet happy lifestyle and they were so very friendly and we were fed a banquet. The ride in the canoe was fun and Aline did an amazing job. Her knowledge was very vast about the culture, agriculture, and village. Thank you, Aline!!!

Safe journey
It was nice day spent in the lap of nature almost in a big city. The nature walk, knowing about the native trees and plants and canoeing across the lagoon i were great. The local cuisine and drinks were added attractions. Our guide was great !

Sortir de la ville pour un bon bol d’air dans la campagne. Découverte de 2 villages et de la végétation environnante à travers une marche d’environ 7 km dont une bonne côte et d’une promenade en pirogue dans une bonne ambiance : tous les guides sont extrêmement accueillants. Les boissons et nourritures proposées sont naturelles, locales, préparées sur place avec les méthodes traditionnelles : c’est bon ! 😋
On finit par un jeu de société, le Ludo (course de petits chevaux) pour finir notre dimanche paisiblement.
