We had a great driver and tour guide through Vistor. Abidjan was very interesting. I would highly recommend booking your tours through Viator

It was raining cats and dogs, so we were not able to get out of the van as much as planned, but our guide, Desiree (sp?) did everything he could to insure we had a good excursion. For starters, he was waiting at the end of the gangway to make sure we made it to the proper van. Desiree was very knowledgeable and very attentive the entire trip. Although I was travelling solo, there were several other couples on the van. We were all a little anxious about the food we would be given for lunch and pleasantly surprised! It was fantastic and fun eating some of the local food. I would highly recommend this tour.

Port pickup at cruise dock was seamless. Even though the weather was not great our guide Sam was. He shared a lot of information in a way that was easy to understand throughout the day, answered questions all day long. Good tour!

Really shows a lot Of different areas in the comfort of an air conditioned van. Safe. Great, easy going guide. We had a passenger that asked if we could find a place to purchase coffee & chocolate sometime in the day and our guide found a really nice mall and we had gilato as a treat.

Our Tour guide Emanuel was very good & spoke excellent English. He really did a great job providing an overview of his country & kept our small group of 13 on time. My only small recommendation would be that the costume museum in grand bassam is very basic & could have had a little less explanation.
We drove by most of the places & stopped to get out at the cathedral. A few of the places were a little over narrated & could have been explained while we were moving instead of stopping & talking. The journey between grand bassam & Abijdan takes about an hour on the coastal road, much less on the highway. We ate lunch at the CAVA artisanal village & had about 30 mins to shop, which was plenty. The food was good & service very fast. Given our cruise time restraints & the heat, this tour was an excellent overview of this part of the Ivory Coast. We especially enjoyed the tour operators vans being right beside the ship so no shuttle was required. I’d highly recommend.

There is a tour guide Desire who is the absolute worst. He was on the phone for 90 percent of the tour.
He did not take us to the mosque as required and attempted to squeeze I any of the other sights within the last 30 minutes.
Most of the tour was fearful his poor time management would cause us to miss our ship.
Restaurant he took us to was full of fies to the point that there was ore flies than food.
Steer clear from this tour if going to Ivory Coast.
Usual Viator is a winner but not this time.

If you only have a short stay at Ivory Coast, this tour would give you a good dose of the country, its history, people, and culture. Our guide Marcelin is excellent. She is very attentive, knowledgeable, and professional. With her explanation, we got better understanding and deeper appreciation for the country, which made our trip really a wonderful experience!

It is a great way to see Abidjan and Grand Bassam within a day. Marceline was an excellent guide. She knew all the right places to go to, was very knowledgeable with the history and context of the sites, adjusted the itinerary based on my preferences, and gave great insights into getting around the country and dealing with people and situations. Also, if you don’t speak French, Marceline would be a great guide to have.

This was a wonderful tour. The guide was very informative about his city and country. They met us right at the gangway of the Abidjan cruise terminal and brought us back to our ship a full hour before all-aboard time.

I had a nice day with Posh, my guide. She showed me all the important places. She is knowledgeable and explained so much about the culture and history. I had a great time with her and I can recommend this tour to others.

This was a very pleasant trip at first to Grand Bassam that enriched my knowledge of the French colonial time to the old capital of Ivory Coast. Marcel was excellent tried her best to inform me about the history of this city . It’s a must if ever visited Abidjan. Afterwords the trip continued back to Abidjan where I had my lunch at a Lebanese restaurant called Marouch . It was excellent then I visited the rest of the city main attractions. Unfortunately the cathedral was closed and so was Cecil Fakiury gallery because it was Sunday. Anyway the guide and the car was excellent.

This tour was very good. Marceline the guide was excellent with good knowledge of the culture and history of the cities. Nice and confortable transportation. This tour is highly recommended! Good communication from the guide and company in advance! Good day trip!

We passed through several points of the city of Abjam and also from the city of Bassam, we walked through the periphery, he has not much to show, the cathedral of St. Peter our guide did not stop, said it was Sunday and there was Mass, at the stadium we passed by car and no photo gave to take.
Find the turn weak.
