Itinerary

This sightseeing cruise departs from Toronto Harbour on the north shore of Lake Ontario. Climb aboard the elegant Oriole, a 76-foot, Great Lakes steamship replica. Choose from the spacious, open-air observation deck or settle into the air-conditioned cabin. Either way, the views will be up-close and incredible from the tranquil waters of Toronto’s naturally protected harbour.

Enjoy this entertaining and educational 60-minute sightseeing tour of Toronto, cruising past the city’s newly revitalized harbor-front and the Toronto Island parklands. Avoid at all costs!!!

Only choosing 1 star because I can’t make it zero. Downstairs, inside the boat, is boiling hot since there is no A/C. Also, you can’t hear the tour guide at all inside since there aren’t working speakers! The windows are tiny and the chairs are cheap and unanchored to the floor with a horrible cushion. I went to ask if they can connect the tour guide to a speaker or at least turn the volume up but they did absolutely nothing about it. This is a horrible “sightseeing” tour on an old boat, go somewhere else if you want to have a good time.

Had fun would go back next time if I have time. I would recommend this to other people who haven’t been on the cruise..

Organized and welcomed very nice It was a little bumpy at the start. It’s smooth out nicely. Had nice crew members welcomed everybody with a smile.

This trip didn’t worth the money. Nothing for the kids to do. The tour guide was just talking all the way. Not even water was offer to the kids. It was just boring. Didn’t get the full 1 tour that was given. In my opinion it was not worth it.

They sell some alcohol and snacks and hotdogs on the boat. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and shared interesting facts about the Waterfront, buildings and history of Toronto. It was very relaxing and enjoyable and not too crowded. I would do it again!

City Cruise Is a Good Deal

It's a very pleasant hour-long cruise on Lake Ontario mostly viewing Toronto's magnificent skyline. It's a little light on facts/history but, since there were a lot of kids, maybe it's designed that way so that it doesn't seem like 'school'. :) Still, our tour operator was friendly, approachable, and peppered the cruise with a few bits about the skyline. Regardless, even on a hot smokey day (I took this on a visit which unfortunately coincided with the wildfires) it was nice to be on the water. There is a short trip to one of the islands, although the boat doesn't make a stop there.

The tour operator initially said they would refund 2 senior citizens that were 85 and 80 years old out of 13 people in our group because there was heavy rain and the elderly family members could have slipped on their walkers and broken their hips. They rejected it when we asked. Extremely poor service and no humanity

Great tour guide. Tara is the best!! Very informative and seemed very knowledgeable of the area. Made some funny jokes and kept everyone's attention. The boat itself was fine but chairs a little uncomfortable for 60 minutes

It wasn't clear when arriving at the Harbour as to where to go. I asked one person and they directed me to one area of the Harbour. When I got to the ship the captain of that ship told me to go to other end of the Harbour where there was a blue and white boat. I have a bad knee so I was trying to get over there as quickly as possible. We arrived and they were pulling stairs from the boat. They could have just put stairs back on, but the agent for that cruise told me we had missed it and next one was at 2pm. We were there to kill some time before the Jays game, so we missed that cruise. I was told that I could come back after the game and be on standby. I live in Montreal so I was leaving after the game. So I was out $72 all because they didn't put stairs back on. Would have taken 2 seconds.

Make sure you get there before the time on your ticket. We got there at two and the boat was already leaving.. We had to wait another half an hour for the next cruise. To the tour company I suggest that you have somewhere on the ticket an earlier boarding time.
