The City Centre was modernized during the later half of the 20th century. It was a unique project where hundreds of houses were demolished to make way for infrastructure, new buildings and squares! During our walk through the city, you will also learn about Swedish inventors like Nobel, the entrepreneurs behind H&M and IKEA. We will pass the Spotify main office located in the entrepreneurial hotspot Urban Escape. A good little tour. We didn’t go very far but all the stops included good food including a full meal main course. Our guide, David, was excellent and gave us a lot of history, tips and stories. I’d recommend this trip and can confirm you will not be hungry at the end of it. 2hrs 40mins in total and there were 10 in our group.

A day full of learning!

We were fortunate to have three guides in this tour. In normal circumstances, this is not the case. It happened due to some last minute changes. But it has become a highlight of our tour. All three guides were knowledgeable and extremely helpful. It is a must tour if you are visiting Stockholm. The tour gives a real perspective of Viking’s history and their culture. A visit to the beautiful and serene city, Sigtuna, is very calming. And then travel to the educational city, Uppsala, having the biggest cathedral in the Nordic region is a great experience.

August was a great guide! Just the two of us on a rainy day. He is a historian & a foody. And he showed me where to pick up the Ferry to go out to swim in Grinda! I got the layout of Stockholm & and lovely City Hall on Wedding Day! I was even able to find my way to my hotel with no GPS. Great morning!

Great way to spend an hour.

The crew are very enthusiastic and get right into it. The tour leader had lots of great information and it was a very pleasant time. There are general knowledge competitions, karaoke and lots of laughing. If you just want one of those full of information tours with no fun or humour, don't take this one.

We had a fantastic time on our tour. The water was pretty icy, but they were able to make a path for us through the ice so we could still go out and have a fun and unique experience. Our guide, Sam, was extremely helpful and knowledgeable through it all. Fika and the sauna were lovely ways to close out the day. We loved our experience!!
