Luca was so lovely and the trip was amazing!! Definitely worth it; I will say they dont pick you up at your hotel anymore but that’s because of a new ordinance, and they take you and lowkey kinda lock you in a pearl jewelry store for 30 minutes? (Which every tour definitely goes through, too, so you should def do this one, but but be prepared lol). But genuinely SO worth it and incredibly lovely, so gorgeous, and the staff is amazing!!

A very relaxing trip

Hanoi's Old Quarter has restrictions on where buses can go so the guide picked us up from the hotel and guided us through a short 2mins walk to where the bus was waiting. The guide provided a lot of info on the way to the bay. There was a stop at the perl farm, very educational. It's up to you if you wanted to buy any pearls, there was no pressure whatsoever. Once we boarded the catamaran, it was a very good mix of activities and relaxation with amazing food. You can either stay in an airconditioned room or go outside upstairs for better views, drinks and jacuzzi. The included lunch was a six course set menu, quite yummy and filling. Plenty of drinks options (both alcoholic and not) are available for purchase. Activities included a short 30mins boat ride through a cave (or if you are brave and don't mind rowing in 35C heat - two-seat kayak instead of a boat), swimming at the back of the catamaran and a class of making rice paper rolls (with an impressive demo of chef's skills to cut various shapes our of vegetables!). No pressure to participate in either and if you want to just relax - you could just stay in the room the whole time and enjoy the views.

A Fantastic day cruise to cover Ha Long Bay without needing an over night.

A fantastic day trip to cover what Ha Long Bay is known for without having to do an over night cruise. For early September, we did not feel rushed anywhere and the crowds everywhere were very minimal. Would highly recommend this cruise group, all the staff were exceptionally helpful and kind. Everything ran on time as well.

Fantastic day exploring a bit of Ha Long Bay

I was contacted the day before the tour by the guide, Phong and he let me know the exact pickup location and time. The driver, Chinh, was also great. I was solo traveling and a bit nervous since we were placed in groups of six for the lunch meal. However, Phong did a wonderful job at placing me in a fantastic group of similar travelers and I had a wonderful time, even though I was the only vegetarian. The meal was great and they were quite generous with the portions, and even gave me my own. I really appreciate the thoughtfulness. Phong was a great guide and kept everything on time. He was very kind and offered explanations of a variety of things, from cave formations to the day's schedule. It was a lovely day and a good activity for people with different abilities. You can skip the cave and relax on the boat if you are not able to handle stairs. Instead of kayaking, they have a boat option where someone can paddle a group into the other cave system. The food was great, service was wonderful, the boat was very lovely and I am very thankful for the experience.

Very relaxing cruise....

Very relaxing cruise. Everything was well organized. The staff was receptive and helpful. Not one of the bigger boats, about 20 cabins or 40 people total. Buffet style lunch was good. The set menu for dinner was western and not as good though. Recommend upgrading to the executive cabin which was quite spacious with excellent views.

A wonderful experience

The entire crew was very friendly and gave us a warm welcome on board. They were very well organized and extremely helpful. The rooms were very comfortable and clean. The food was outstanding. There was a breakfast buffet, and in the evenings, a varied five-course menu was served. The program was very diverse: We visited many caves, went canoeing, and took a boat trip through the beautiful scenery of Halong Bay, where we also enjoyed a delicious lunch. We visited a pearl farm and were taken through a cave in a bamboo boat, where we even saw some monkeys. We stayed for three days, which was a great decision.

Lots to see

Our guide Tom and the driver really looked after us all day, we were collected from our cruise ship on time , in an air conditioned comfortable car. We saw so many different interesting attractions during our day, Tom was very knowledgeable about them all. One stop was for an Egg Coffee, really creamy, a must do! The included lunch was lovely, the restaurant and staff really nice. The mad traffic is an experience like no other, both fab and mad, our driver did a great job. Thank you Tom we had a really great day spending just the right amount of time at each attraction.

It's a must do activity if you are in Ha Noi

Wow, just wow. The landscape is incredible. I think that Vietnam is one of the most beautiful country and Halong Bay is a must do for all. The crews did exceptional job welcoming us and catered to our every needs. The cabin was little small but that is expected on a small ship. However, we could have easily spent a whole week on this boat. Tom and Jerry (Host and Manager who are also married) were great. They seemed genuinely enjoy their job. The restaurant manager, Long went out of his way to accomodate our needs. Exceptional service! Please keep in mind that they are all freelancers and depend on tips as majority of their income so please tip generously if they make your trip memoriable. I highly recommend this company.

Nice way to see ha long bay

Is quite busy 24 hours on the boat. Was slightly nervous as a solo traveler but was fine. Boat was nice. Excursions were enjoyable. Staff were excellent. Tony a great guide. Bus to/from Hanoi a bit chaotic. As expected they stop at a place both ways to allow businesses to sell you some rubbish. But that is expected on a tour. But would be better if they went straight there. But that just a minor point.

We had an incredible trip to Halong with 6 couples on the Amanda Cruise ship after the Hera boat had a maintenance issue on one of our rooms. Fortunately we got an upgrade. Tom (Cruise, haha, his English name) was the cruise manager with his wife as part of the crew. The hospitality and food on board was amazing. We enjoyed all of the activities (except Tip top island which was packed). Tom and his team was exceptional!

The boat and staff were exceptional. And the scenery was beautiful. We had a great time. Got to meet some wonderful passengers that we had a lot of fun with. The only problem (not their fault) was the trip wasn't long enough. Next time I'll do a two or three day trip.

Great unforgettable experience.

This is a great experience. A must if you are in Hanoi. The trip is 100% worth. The transfer from Hanoi is not included and we paid and extra of 30Usd, 2 ways. The cruise is amazing, the rooms really beautiful and well designed, they even have the bathtub facing a window. You’ll be rushing all the time, due to the activities planned for every moment. The drinks are not included, however they have the for a competitive price. Tips are not included. The la escape and the surroundings at the bay are breathtaking, you’ll have an unforgettable experience.
