Fast-paced guide kept us on our toes!

Had Kha as our guide, and Lam as the driver. Set off at 6.30 as per my request. I asked to stop at a coffee shop for breakfast and they obliged though they had to call people to find out what was open and where. Kha was very attentive throughout the trip to Ba na hills - he knew the best spots to take photos , and was very fast. He obliged me again when I said I wanted the halal buffet instead of the international buffet. Would recommend for younger groups and those who are extremely fit, rather than laid back travellers like me who want to just slow down and enjoy

This Tour With Carol As The Tour Guide Is Incredible!

Incredible tour made even more enjoyable by our tour guide, Carol! I would rate this tour with Carol 6 stars if it was an option because she is a fabulous tour guide! The scenery from the cable car to the Golden Bridge to the French Village and the Indochina Buddhist Temple was breathtaking! We were in awe of all the fascinating facilities, statues, and gardens! Our tour guide, Carol is a local and provides very informative historical perspectives about the evolution of Da Nang and Ba Na Hills. This is a "must do" tour, and if you are lucky, you will get Carol assigned as your tour guide. The cable car ride is a highlight! It's about 15 minutes and Carol helped explain many aspects of the sights we viewed during the cable car ride. The western buffet lunch was also worth it as it offers a very large variety of different international cuisines to pick from, including many vegetarian dishes. Overall, I cannot recommend this tour enough! Go see for yourself, and you will not regret the time or money spent, particularly if you get lucky like we did and are assigned Carol as your tour guide!

Train is a highlight!

This was a great tour overall and I loved the train part of it going through the Hai Van Pass! It was a lovely morning so it was such a highlight for me! The sites in Hue were great and our tour guide Harry had great insight to share that I appreciated. It was a hot day but we sure utilized the shady areas when we could. The lunch was also very good and the staff were good with making some extra food if you needed it.

Our tour guide was friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and made the whole trip enjoyable with interesting stories and local insights. The guide was always attentive, made sure everyone was comfortable, and gave us plenty of time to enjoy each stop without feeling rushed. Wonderful experience

Mr Bao, he is good driver, very careful on how he drives. I was expecting him to drop me at each place and pick me up but he helped with the tickets, walked with us to alll the way to ticket entry to make sure that we are not lost in Ba na hills. He walked with us on Lady Buddha and took wonderful pictures. If you are looking for private tour then ask for him.

Amazing Tour

We had an amazing time with Hoa & Khoi. They picked us up from the hotel and took care of our bags and made sure we had everything we needed to start our tour. We stopped at Marble Mountain and then a great ride through Da Nang and a small fishing town then up Hai Van Pass with a lovely couple of photo stops along the way. Rode to the Waterfall and had time look around and go swimming if we wanted to. Next stop was lunch at a lovely Seafood restaurant on the water ( delicious ) then it was off to another fishing village then we made our way to our hotel. These guys were amazing, took great care of us and our belongings. Felt safe at all times on the bikes. Would highly recommended doing this tour.

Amazing tour!!!!! One of the absolute highlights of our trip. We spent hours exploring and there were so many fun things to do and see. Our guide was fantastic and even went out of his way to help us find a great spot to watch the DIFF fireworks show, which he definitely didn’t have to do. That extra effort meant so much to us. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting!

Lovely afternoon out of the city

Gillian, Leo and Roy provided a perfect trip out of the city into nature, which felt very off the beaten track as we saw more monkeys than humans. Gorgeous Red-shanked douc langur families were fun to find and lovely to watch both with the naked eye and with the binoculars provided on the tour. Safe and great option for my two teenagers. Easy last minute booking for an afternoon of primates (can across a family of regular monkeys too) greenery, amazing views and finishing with the sunset.

Wonderful tour guides

Had a great time. Wonderful guides, Lanh, Lam, Phu. VIP treatment the whole time. Picked us up at hotel in the Jeep, and the Jeep ride made me smile so much, for so long, my face hurt. Lanh told us all the facts and history we wanted to know about the tour and Da Nang as well. Walked slowly for us older folks and gave us ample time to sightsee. Made it easy to enjoy the few flights of stairs in this humid weather. Lam drives very carefully and again, made us feel like special guests. Phu and the Jeep driving was a blast as well. He can spot a monkey in the trees at 30 yards while driving at 20mph. Took plenty of photos for us, sent them all to us before trip was done. Modified the tour per our request and I can honestly say I feel like I have buddies at Local Buddy Tours. Thanks team, you made a great day and memory for this 64 yo American male, Vietnamese wife and son. (Yes Lanh spoke in both English and Vietnamese for us)

Interesting and well guided tour

This is a really interesting tour. The caves are amazing. No monkeys to be seen. There are many stairs involved so be ready for some physical activity, especially in the heat. Guide Luan was very knowledgeable and entertaining. Small group size was nice and travel time comparatively short.

This tour was worth every penny. Guide was amazing and kept us all updated throughout the day via whatsapp. Would of been great if the tour did early starts up Bana Hills from when gates open but otherwise we saw quite a bit and am happy with that.. No regrets
