Wonderful Croissants
From the time we arrived, they served coffee and tea and made us feel right at home. Instructor was Lara. She was so sweet and knowledgeable about all things croissants and pastries. After we made the croissants, we got to cook and sampled them and they were delicious.!

Macaron Mania, Oui!
The macaron class with Laeticia was absolutely wonderful! I have always been intimidated to try baking macarons and she made the entire experience comfortable. If you have the chance, don’t skip on this class. Bonus, you get to take home a bunch of yummy macarons.

Hands down our best experience in Paris
It is a pretty full day. You walk to the market and back and then you will stand most of the time preparing foods to cook and then cooking them. On the market trip you learn a lot of where things are sourced from and what that means. A stop at the fish monger and cheese shop for some history as well!
There is something for everyone whether you are an experienced cook or have never set foot in the kitchen! I would be willing to bet everyone will walk away with a new skill or approach and for sure you will have a lot of fun. I know I personally did and I like to consider myself a good cook and someone that knows their way around the kitchen:)
Everyone is a bit shy at first but by the time you sit down for your well deserved meal you have prepared and all worked on together —you are family!
I would do this a hundred times over! Chef Fred was personable, knowledgeable and talented! You won’t regret this addition to your time in Paris!

Great workshop
Absolutely brilliant, especially for families. The dough is already made for the baguettes and croissants, but you do get to shape and bake it. You don’t get to take the croissants with you as it takes over a day for the process to take place, but you do get to eat the tasty ones in the shop. It is great to see how a bakery operates. Our instructor Nina was welcoming and informative. We enjoyed our baguettes with our picnic near the Eiffel Tower!

Great evening experience in wonderful setting
We had a great evening up in a home in the hills of Nice at this cooking class with 10 other participants, who were all warm and friendly. Rebecca and Laurent were engaging hosts and Rebecca had us all engaged in prepping the Nicoise-style meal outside on their patio, which had a fantastic view. Plenty of good food, spirits. My husband doesn’t cook but thoroughly enjoyed his food-prepping too! One of our highlights during our time in Nice!

Passion Fruit
A very personal hands-on small group baking experience.
Excellent pastry chef easy to follow directions I learned so much and the macaroons were absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend this class to anyone interested in baking French macaroons.

Great wine education!
It was amazing! Margaret Rose was incredibly knowledgeable and excelled in explaining not only the wines, but their origins, the specifics of regional requirements and what makes French wines uniquely French. I feel much more comfortable ordering a wine that I will truly enjoy. I cannot recommend this experience enough. Such a great way to spend time in Lyons! Thank you, Margaret Rose. We wish you the very best!

A Delicious Highlight of Our Paris Birthday Celebration
Guiding a group of six women around Paris for six days to celebrate one woman’s 70th birthday was an unforgettable experience, and one of her wishes for the trip was to take a cooking class.
After reviewing several options on Viator, I selected Le Foodist because it combined a market experience with the cooking class, and it turned out to be an excellent choice.
Everything about the experience was outstanding. Chef Paulo was not only knowledgeable and skilled in selecting the ingredients and guiding us through the preparation, but his energy, personality, and hands-on approach made the entire experience engaging and memorable.
Of all the experiences we enjoyed during our time in Paris, this was one of the absolute favorites for the ladies.
I would highly recommend Le Foodist to anyone visiting Paris, whether you are traveling with friends, celebrating a special occasion, or even traveling solo. It is a wonderful way to experience French food, culture, and the joy of cooking together.

Wonderful experience, definitely recommend!
My sister and I had an absolutely amazing experience with our lovely pastry chef Vivian! She explained everything so thoroughly to us and was very patient, polite, super engaged and friendly. We had such a wonderful class and was so impressed with how yummy and professional our crossiants and pain au chocolat pastries came out all thanks to Vivian. We’ve been wanting to learn how to make Crossiants for a long time and this class did not disappoint, especially as we were complete beginners! Whenever we visit Paris again we’d definitely love to come back for another class at Studio Pâtisserie especially with Vivian, 100% recommend, 10/10. Thank you for a wonderful morning Vivian!

Very interactive and...
Very interactive and engaging! Ann made the class a great time and catered to the group whether you were an avid baker or first timer. We loved the small group size and intimate setting. After the class, we all got to sit down and enjoy our creations over coffee and tea. We took home over 50 macaroons!

Wonderful Paris family friendly activity!
We had such a wonderful time! Our instructor, Nelly, was friendly, kind, and patient. There was a small group of us so she was able to pay good attention to what we were doing and give us detailed instruction. The macarons are very tasty and we look forward to trying to make them at home ourselves. Would highly recommend this activity, especially if you have a young family.

A Deliciously Unique Experience
Chef Carole was so lovely to open her home to my daughter and I. She showed us how to make some traditional French holiday recipes that were absolutely delicious and we both felt like we could replicate them when we get home. She went over the ingredients in great detail, letting us know where they were from and how the flavor profiles worked together. As people who don’t usually “dabble” in the kitchen, we are now inspired to do so together more. Thank you Chef Carole for the truly amazing and unique experience!
