Excellent tour with moderate hike!

Excellent tour that included 2 Pagodas and the NP! Both were beautiful. The hike is a moderate difficulty with significant stairs to climb the mountain so be prepared. There are stretches with soil and mud so hiking shoes are recommended. Bring water and snacks eventhough the van stops both coming and going.

We had a lovely day out...

We had a lovely day out as a family! Mumu was super friendly and knowledgeable throughout the tour, sharing lots of interesting information along the way. My mum has some knee problems, so this tour was perfect for us as it didn’t involve too much walking. We also visited a local village and tried tea made from coffee husks for the first time, which was surprisingly fragrant and delicious! The itinerary was exactly as described, and everything went smoothly. Thanks Mumu & Tom for a great day!

We had such a great time on this tour! Our guide, Rueang, was fantastic and did an amazing job. The elephant sanctuary was absolutely amazing. We got to feed the elephants and spend time with them. The bamboo rafting was also fun, and one of the biggest surprises was getting to climb the waterfall! I didn’t expect that, but it turned out to be so much fun. Overall, it was a wonderful day filled with unique experiences. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Sam was a wonderful guide and had a good mix of talking about the temples and allowing us to move freely on our own. Highly recommended tour! Incredible tour and great value. So well organized with no issues whatsoever. The guide was super friendly and met the group at the meeting spot on time, the tuk tuk driver was super friendly and drove safely, all 6 stops were unique and mostly foods that I never would have found on my own. Best of all, it was fun and engaging and I learned a lot about Northern Thai culture and cuisine along the way. Highly recommend. (American, mid 40’s male, solo traveler)

Great full-day excursion

This excursion in Chiang Mai is a must. It was beautiful. The trekking route is easy to manage. It is a pity that you don't see anything traditional around Karendorf, looms etc. The tea/coffee tasting is more of a sales pitch. Very unfortunate. The guide Nile explained things great at the elephants. What I don't find good is that a strange group joined us there. There were too many people standing around, always the same ones at the elephants, you didn't even have a chance in the river to have a few seconds of time undisturbed! Exactly at the elephants it should be quiet and comfortable. What bothered me during the trekking was that neither our guide nor the local companion walked at the end to look out for us. I was often the last one and no one cared about it and then showed the snakes etc. they just kept going immediately. ...not good!

M - the perfect guide!

M was a fantastic guide and driver for our all day adventure. He was very informative and attentive! The waterfall and the twin pagodas were stunning. We went to lunch at a local roadside kitchen and M suggested our meal which was fantastic. Even though we had a sudden downpour, the trek along the river with Ari was one of the best experiences so far. If you want to an immersive active tour, make sure you ask for M!

Excellent tour, great tour guide and driver

We had a wonderful day at Doi Inthanon with our guide, Nancy, and our driver, Hero. We started at beautiful Mae Klang Waterfall and also visited Wachirathan Waterfall, stopped for a beautiful view over rice fields, and visited the summit of Doi Inthanon, the highest point in Thailand. I especially enjoyed the wooden nature trail through the misty forest. Nancy explained how moisture collects in the trees and eventually feeds the waterfalls below, which made the walk much more interesting. The King and Queen Pagodas were impressive even though the mist limited the views, and the interiors were stunning. I also really enjoyed walking through the Karen village, where we saw a woman weaving, people building a house by hand, and other aspects of everyday village life before tasting locally grown tea and coffee. Nancy was knowledgeable throughout the day and very good at explaining the history, culture, and nature of the places we visited. More importantly, she paid attention to the people in her group and adjusted to what they needed. When I was having some difficulty with the walking, she was exceptionally kind and helpful. Hero was also excellent and very accommodating, even holding an umbrella for us in the rain. Their thoughtfulness really showed at the end of the day. As we were discussing where they should drop me off, I mentioned that I needed to find a pharmacy but didn't know of one near my hotel. I wasn't actually asking them to take me to one, but before I knew it, Hero had spotted a pharmacy along our route and stopped for me. Nancy came inside with me and helped with translation, and Hero waited for us. They then drove me directly to my hotel. Nancy and Hero were excellent hosts as well as guide and driver. Their knowledge, flexibility, and genuine attention to their guests made this a memorable day and a tour I would highly recommend.

Do not hesitate to book this tour! The long drive is well worth it. Our guide, Tong, was excellent from start to finish. He went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, stopped for plenty of bathroom breaks, and even bought us three different snacks along the way. Highly recommend and we would 100% book another tour with him on a return visit.
