What are people saying about Chiang Mai

Sensational
Family of 5. Went on the farm cooking tour - sensational facilities and organic massive garden. Pond, waterwheel, chooks, geese. Picked up and went to the market in the city. City cooking also available - but so glad we elected to do the farm as the serenity and lushness of the countryside was stunning. And we had the whole open space to ourselves. Sooooo much food. You get to select what you will make: 5 courses and so much variety. We made them all and shared as a family. Seamless, smooth behind the scenes facilitation meant it was engaging the whole day. Given a gorgeous book of every recipe and simple step by step guides with photos of ingredients to recreate at home. 9-4pm door to door including all driving (approx 40 mins each way in air conditioned van). Marium was an amazing host and teacher from beginning to end.

A Must-Do Sunrise Temple Tour
This was an amazing sunrise tour and one of the highlights of my trip. Our guide, Blue, was fantastic and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the morning. His energy, knowledge, and enthusiasm made the experience even more enjoyable. There is no better time to visit these temples than early in the morning. The sites were peaceful and uncrowded, allowing us to truly appreciate the beautiful atmosphere and serene surroundings. One of the most memorable parts of the tour was meditating and listening to the monks' chants, which created a very special and authentic experience. The tour was perfectly paced and never felt rushed. We had plenty of time at each temple to explore, take photos, and soak in the atmosphere. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the area. Thank you, Blue, for making it such a wonderful and memorable morning!

I absolutely loved the...
I absolutely loved the cooking class. They even have their own garden where they grow fresh herbs, and a visit to the local market was included, which made the whole experience feel really authentic. I’d recommend booking the transfers if you’re staying within the Chiang Mai district, it makes everything much easier. The female team were incredibly hospitable, and although our group was quite small and intimate, it actually made the experience even more enjoyable. You can attend as part of a group or solo like I did (I’m the Black woman in the picture), and it was easy to connect with others. I met a lovely French family who were heading straight to the airport afterwards. Overall, I’d definitely recommend this for an authentic Thai experience. The portion sizes were generous; I couldn’t finish everything but was able to take the rest away. Just a small note: they do have two dogs on-site, but they’re put away during the cooking session in case anyone is uncomfortable around dogs.

Fiery and overflowing with flavor, Northern Thai cuisine is considered one of Asia’s best. Creamy noodle soups, spicy sausages, and sweet-and-sour salads characterize Chiang Mai’s culinary scene, which differs from the rest of Thailand. Chiang Mai cooking classes let you delve deeper into the region’s culinary culture by showing you how to create authentic dishes using traditional Thai tools and ingredients. While the taste on your tongue might fade, your new-found knowledge of how to make khao soi (curry noodle soup) and tam khanun (jackfruit salad) will last much longer.
