Swim with the sharks on Bora Bora

A great tour to experience beautiful Bora Bora waters: deep water search for mantas, shallow to swim with sharks and then deep for the coral garden. Amazing to be in touching distance of sharks and rays. Not recommended for those with mobility issues or unsure swimmers. Choppy water made climbing the boat ladder difficult at one site. Strong current was tricky at another. Unsure swimmers can hang on life ring pulled by driver. Excursion includes lunch at a private motu and interesting cultural demonstration, although stop could be shortened. Boat ride across bay was super fast and wave-pounding. But driver and his brother entertained with ukulele snd songs.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an incredible time on this snorkeling tour! Our guide Manu was fantastic – knowledgeable, friendly, and made sure everyone felt safe and comfortable in the water. Marine Life: We were lucky enough to see Manta Rays, sharks, and a wide variety of colorful tropical fish. It was truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience swimming alongside such amazing creatures! Food & Entertainment: The lunch provided was delicious and hit the spot after a morning in the water. They also put on a great performance/show that added a fun cultural touch to the whole trip.

How Pearls are Grown!

This was such a phenomenal excursion learning about how the Tatian black pearls are grown from start to finish. Our tour guides Mana and Tia were incredible and extremely knowledgeable. We got to handpick our Tahitian oyster out of the floating farm. We were taught the in the out of farming Tahitian pearls, and why they are sought after. We then got to open our oyster, without harming it, to reveal the pearl inside. My partner, and I both got to take home a one of a kind pearl which we will cherish forever.

What an incredible jet ski adventure on Bora Bora’s lagoon! We had a light breeze that day, yet our tour went on without any issues. Zooming across the crystal water was so thrilling and joyful. The ride duration was generous — I really enjoyed every minute behind the wheel. We were treated to fresh fruit and tasty snacks halfway through the trip. Truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. This snorkeling tour was absolutely incredible! We were lucky enough to spot sharks, manta rays and countless colorful little fish underwater. Amazing and fun experience! Must do!

Our tour guide, Rio (not sure if I spelled it right), is super friendly. He came pick us up at Vaitape Dock on time. We had total 4 skis in this group, everyone seemed to have fun. No experience is needed, the tour guide provided clear instructions and he was keeping good speed for everyone to follow for the whole time. We took north path to go around the island and saw beautiful view of the island a breathtaking ocean in different blues which was just amazing, no words to describe it. We stopped at the lagoon near Motu Piti A’au area for a short break. We could jump in into the ocean to enjoy the water and the beautiful scenery. We continued the tour going south path and back to our start point which completed a full round of the island. Tips: you could bring your phone/camera that you can store in the small trunk of the jet ski while you are skiing. You will have time to stop and take photos during the tour. We didn’t know so we didn’t bring anything electronic devices with us to capture the beautiful views and take some photos for memories 😭. I guess this will be the reason we need to come back again! I would strongly recommend everyone to have this jet ski experience if you ever come to visit Bora Bora.

Wow 10/10 experience. Two...

Wow 10/10 experience. Two snorkel locations. The first had 3-5 black tipped fin sharks and 2-3 rays. They came super close to us. The highlight for me was the second stop at the coral gardens. It felt criminal that we could swim so close to the coral arrangements that look straight out of an aquarium. Some of the fish, clams, and coral were neon colored! The boat drivers were fun, happy, and genuinely seemed to be having a great time showing us around. Loved this memorable experience. We did bring our own snorkel gear from our resort. They did have some communal ones available.

Incredible!

What an incredible snorkeling tour! We had such an amazing experience and saw manta rays, a fever of 20+ eagle rays, tons of beautiful tropical fish, blacktip reef sharks, and stingrays. The amount of marine life we encountered was unbelievable! The entire experience was absolutely unforgettable and easily one of the highlights of our trip. We had a great time from start to finish and would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Bora Bora!

Had a great, albeit short time with Ta’rei as our driver and guide. There are two main viewpoints that they take you up to for great views around Bora Bora as well as some history (WW II Canons). There is a stop at a local tie dye shop plus a few brief stops for pictures and experience. Overall you get a different perspective of the island compared to the resorts.

We had such a fun time...

We had such a fun time doing the helmet dive activity. It was a great alternative to scuba diving since we're not certified for that. We saw so many varieties of fish and even got up close to a sting ray. In fact, we were able to touch it. The staff went over a safety briefing before we went in the water and were super friendly and helpful. Would recommend this activity.
