Get a copy of route map ahead of time. Had hard time finding where to get on plus had to go in office to get receipt. Once that was done, was a great ride.

Excellent value for two people. Paris is an expensive city and this package deal was well worth it. Being on top of an open bus to see the sights was an excellent vantage point and someone else does all the driving!

Well the older gentleman I was travelling with developed a bad leg infection and was directed by a doctor to stay off his leg. I had been trying to contact Viator with 3 messages the day before our tour and NO ONE responded. I finally spoke with customer care and they denied the refund. Apparently and this is in their words…. If I could provide additional documentation other than the doctor’s note they could reconsider. Those documents would be Hospital stay, obituary, funeral notice or prayer card. Apparently, you need to be in the hospital or DEAD before you get a refund. Wow!!!!!

If you want to see the sites of Paris without 20,000+ steps, this is a great alternative. They provide earphones so you can listen to timed commentary, but when they go off route because the is an event in Paris, no one gets on a microphone to explain why. Tip: open Google Maps while you are on the bus and find “what is that?” Sites not mentioned in the recorded commentary

Clean bus, earbuds provided. Travel between top stops in Paris! Total travel time for the loop just over 2 hours. Ear buds give details on sights passing in variety of languages!

Hop on Hop off is as usual. Start early to ensure you find a seat you like. Tour guides are mostly helpful explaining where and when to catch the bus for your chosen routes.
Very confusing information about where to catch the boat cruise- we had to ask a number of people and were directed back and forth on the pier. The boat cruise was nice and not too crowded (we booked it for 10:30 am). Nice, relaxing way to see many sights.

Make sure to find the closest bus stop to you as there is another hop on hop off buss company to be aware of and it can be confusing.

We didn't have time to do all we wanted to because we got hooked on the Eiffel and found it hard to leave! We did feel like there was a lot of wasted time with a huge gap in between stops nine and ten. Heavy traffic just added to that but of cours, that's not their fault. It is a great way to see whatever highlights of the city you want.

I have done this experience in the past and was so happy with the narration and pathway of the tour which would give an overview to the tourist of where to start to explore this wonderful city.
Our bus had no video and the driver did not announce the sites. We could not go the next day as we had another tour scheduled. I feel my family lost a grand opportunity

Big Bus is a long time established company with sites all over the world. Paris was the same. Good your info, convenient hop on/off locations and staff very helpful. There was an unexpected heatwave at our time of travel in May and unfortunately some of the buses did not have air conditioning. Those that did worked amazing and was such a relief between sites to cool off and recover. But those that did not did make it a little harder. But overall great experience and totally worth it because you can get around the city pretty easily and you get a little bit of a break to rest while the bus is taking you to your next location. Would totally do again.

They don’t give you a free river cruise. It’s the entrance the the Arc and you have to climb 284 steps up and then 284 stairs down.

We were referred to this service by family that are very familiar with France. It lived up to the billing and we would certainly pass that recommendation on. It was very nice having someone else navigate the French streets, with commentary. It was also nice that if one bus was full the next was only minutes away.

This was a bit challenging because we wanted to sit upstairs for the view, but soon had to move downstairs to the air conditioning because of the 90 degree temps. We changed seats a couple times because not all headphone jacks worked properly. We took the bus around the entire route and it was a good orientation to the city. Go when it opens, tho, because the traffic just gets worse as the day goes on.

Great tour, hit all the sights and had good audio info in various languages ! It was super hot the day we traveled but we bore it out in the open air top deck. At least the last bus we took had air conditioning in the lower level, sadly we only realized it as we left that bus. Don’t know it they all have A/C in the lower deck but something to think about.
One thing I would like to say is if you’re operating a tour bus, clean windows are EVERYTHING ! It’s too bad they didn’t keep up with that.

I asked for directions to the meeting point for a bicycle tour. They took my reservation for the hop- on bus n changed the river cruise a day earlier. Then they say I missed river cruise. Then said I couldn't push hop-on bus tour back one day. Finally, the bicycle tour was canceled. THIS AFTER OVER 20 TOURS I'VE DONE WITH THEM.
