Hard to find the start of the tour, it would be good to have a flag on a stick like others do.

Excellent tour of Lucca with Antonella. Very informative and well explained. Interesting locations, history, culture and art.
We arrived late due to relying on the coordinates given us the app we were standing at the wrong meeting point, there were 3 other couple’s including us. When we did arrive arrive about 3 or 4 minutes late the tour guide had already started, she checked our tickets but didn’t introduce herself so don’t know her name, we also didn’t get a map which she referred to during the tour. There were times I couldn’t hear her also. The tour itself was ok but I wouldn’t recommend it.

The joining point is inside at the information centre, I was not aware of this.
Very informative but also Italian people on the tour and so a lot of time spent waiting for the guide to give the Italian version too.
Was late finishing by at least half an hour and we missed the end in order to catch a train.
This was a great tour of Lucca. Our guide was lovely, welcoming, and very knowledgeable about the history of Lucca. I would highly recommend this experience to anyone who wants to walk around Lucca and learn the background of this fabulous city.
The tour had about 25 English speaking customers and 2 Italian so the guide spent half the time speaking Italian and completely lost the interest of the group

This is the perfect way to get a taste of the history and stories of Lucca.
Our guide was full of knowledge and stories.
She even stayed with us after the 2 hours and continued to show us around. She was a joy to be with!
A nice tour around Lucca. All went well except for the meeting place at the beginning of the tour. Insufficient information led to confusion for most of the group.
The organisers need to be more specific about the starting point of the tour. We wandered around Piazza Giuseppe Verdi for ages. It actually starts at The Tourist Information Centre so that should be clearly stated!
Extremely knowledgeable and interesting guide and good value tour. However the repetition in Italian as well as English was very tedious and meant waiting around between stops.
Learned a lot about Lucca, including some things you don't find in the brochures. The guide was great and her English good. Worth it!
This was an excellent tour and our guide Victtroia was very knowledgeable and pointed out so many interesting things. The tour was at the right pace and mainly in flat ground the only hill was to walk to the top of the walls. I would highly recommend this tour you get a sense of what’s to see so you can go and explore in more detail if you wish. Highly recommended
Great information from a local of this beautiful city easy walk through the city great information. If the weather is better would’ve loved to see more of Luca. It was so wonderful.
The tour was very large and delivered in two languages which made for an extra long time standing. We had good weather fortunately. The stories shared were interesting and the historical background of the city. We explored the underground tunnels afterwards which was very enlightening and tied it all together.
Very well presented with loads of local knowledge. She managed to work well with a large group of people. Well done!

The guide was very good. Definitely worth doing if you want to orientate yourself with this beautiful city.
The tour wasn’t just walking around Lucca, being shown sites. It was being explained, by a true expert from Lucca, the history, the way the town has evolved, the people, the food - we learnt so much more than just seeing sites. Would highly recommend.
I was always taught never to say a bad word if you have nothing nice to say… Very difficult to be positive about no tour…

We're sorry you missed the tour, but we assume you were in the wrong place. In fact, the tour took place normally, with several participants, starting from the Tourist Information Office in Piazzale Verdi, as indicated in the tour description.
If you didn't participate to the tour, you can always ask for a refund.
We hope we'll have the opportunity to explore the city together in the future.

An interesting tour to do from the beginning of your stay.
It was wonderful and very informative. The guide really knew what she was explaining and took the time to make sure everyone in the group was engaged in the tour.

The historic center of Lucca is very welcoming and walkable. If you want to see the famous city wall surrounding the old city center, rent a bike for 5 euros and spend an hour riding all the way around the level and beautiful walkway. The walking tour guide I had was very informative and pleasant, so it helped me appreciate Lucca better than if I just walked around on my own.
Nadia was a perfect guide to Lucca … she had a wealth of knowledge, she was funny and she was happy to take questions and make suggestions.
Lovely lady who showed us round Lucca. The only point was the meeting point it should say the Tourist Info centre rather than on a corner in the park.
