A shambles of an experience. The voucher collection is a long way from the Alhambra where you need to get tickets. No clear directions around site and unhelpful employees. If you take a bus up you should be able to get off then get back on the same number bus but the driver won’t let you.
Al hambra is beautiful and fantastic. The audio is not worth while. The internet connectiong is very poor, the sound is terrible, the green Dots are not connected, cannot recommend.
The Alhambra was amazing! The tour office where we picked up the tickets was tucked away in a lovely little spot and everyone in the office were friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. It felt like a secret entrance heading up to the Alhambra from the tour office. It was a lovely hike up to the entrance. We went early in the day and I would recommend booking for the same time, it gets quite crowded later. The attraction is huge and the grounds are so beautiful. The best part of the experience was the phenomenal audio guide that was exclusive to the tour office. I have visited many tourist sites all over the world and this was the most pleasant audio guide I have ever encountered.
Alhambra is obviously a must see. The tour through the Alhambra is very organized compared to some other sightseeing spots. I would have preferred to have a map of the Alhambra and not only the audio guide as the spots were not so easily visible. The views from up there are spectular and the history of this place is unimaginable.
When I paid the exorbitant amount due to Spain national day, I was expecting a lot more. Poor signage and too much walking.
Anyone who plans a visit to Granada wants to see the Alhambra and its beautiful islamic architecture. The cover picture of this activity shows it. however, we only realized when we were already inside the complex, that this ticket doesnt include the visit to the Palacios Nazaries, that is exactly what everyone wants to see! you end up paying an overpriced ticket just to see the gardens and the medieval fortress with no chance to buy tickets on the same day for the palaces. also, the original tickets from the official website cost 12 euros and we paid 58 here!
At the last minute we upgraded to a guided tour and Sandra was 100% worth it! She was knowledgeable and fun, making the experience educational and enjoyable.
This is a fraudulent, be aware and don’t purchase anything from this company.
I paid 3 weeks ago for Alhambra tour with guide, I received email a week before my travel stating they couldn’t secure any tickets and gave the option to get refund. I requested a refund, never received one but I got an email saying they were able to secure 4 tickets ( what I originally purchased).
Today oct 9th I went to the meeting point and no one showed up, I reached out to the guide and she said oh meet me there but then she stopped responding and didn’t answer my calls.
The title makes this seem like a all inclusive Alhambra ticket, especially that it’s that expensive, turns out it doesn’t include the Nasrid palaces although the images show little the palaces on the main page, basically the reason we were in Granada and ended up paying 70€, 600% for a 12€ ticket… I guess they artificially bump up the price to misuse people’s desperation.
We assumed we would be picking up the tickets from near the entrance of the Alhambra, so we got a taxi, but it's actually in the town and is about a 30-40 walk uphill then (they will tell you it's 15 minutes, but the route is unclear, and not well signposted. We saw many other tourists also looking lost and trying to find the correct route on their phone maps) The audio guide is a QR code you scan and listen to on your phone rather than an audio headset you borrow, and the route is not clear, so there's no real flow to how you follow it round. To be fair, all of this is loosely explained when you buy the tickets, but I thought it was worth being explicit in this review so other people don't feel disappointed.
Having said all that, Alhambra is beautiful and worth the visit. But don't expect this audio guide to be much use - do all your own research and plan your route, we missed a lot and I felt I was staring at my phone for much of it.
We booked entry tickets to the Alhambra through Viator priced at £30 per person, stated to include admission plus audio guide — when official direct entry is only €12.99. We expected a proper experience for the premium price, but it was extremely disappointing.
The so‑called “audio guide” worked via a QR code on our phones — every single time we took a photo, we were logged out completely and had to rescan, re‑enter the password and start all over again from the beginning. After struggling through this three times, our whole group of ten gave up entirely — it was unusable.
Worse still — we found out this ticket did NOT actually include entry to the Alhambra Palace, which is the main reason anyone visits the Alhambra! We were also informed one of the palaces was closed with no advance notice or mention at time of booking.
It felt misleading and overpriced — paying far more than official cost for something that delivered far less than promised. We have used Viator before and trusted them, but this was a letdown and we would not recommend this tour operator /ticket option at all.

Pick up of your ticket is in the old center of town, far from the entrance of the Alhambra. Walking in 40 degrees uphill is not recommended if you want to have a nice experience later on. Tickets are available at the entrance of the Alhambra as well and online directly with them.
After booking with this company, they actually called me to sell me more, calling my cell number internationally!! Offensive and expensive. Kept sending WhatsApp messages about tickets to the Palace as well, which we'd already declined. Very pushy. Audio tour was to be included, pick up half an hour before your 'timeslot', but it turned out to be just a download on your phone. Unfortunately with all the stalking and reminders to bring stuff or buy another ticket, they didn't tell you to bring your earplugs. So no device that needed to be picked up and payed a deposit for as per info whilstbokking, and a very bad audio experience. No map was given of the lay out ot the Alhambra, nor were there any numbered sites so you could actually try to hear the right info at the right spot. We were sooo disappointed!
We bought tickets to see the Alhambra and though our tickets didn’t include the Nasrid Palaces, we had a lot of fun exploring the Jardins and the Alcazaba.
Getting our tickets was very easy. We bought tickets online on August 8 and picked them up at the Play Granada tourism center (which is very close to the Alhambra) on August 9. The employees were very respectful and helpful as well; I had a few questions about how to pick up the tickets and I was able to reach them very quickly through their WhatsApp (which can be found online).
I was a bit hesitant to buy tickets from Play Grenada because of the past negative reviews, but my experience with them as of August 2026 was nothing short of perfect. Thank you especially to Maria, who was very kind to us when picking up our tickets.

Misleading. Has a picture of Nastrid Palace on the ad but it is not included in the ticket. Charges €30 per ticket whereas if you book direct from Alhambra website it is only €12 per ticket. I advise everyone to book directly with Alhambra. The staff there also said never book with a third party company. Absolute scam and waste of time and money. Ruined my experience in Granada.
Was a really easy to use experience, the staff really helpful. Only downside was the audio guide, it was more obsessed with someone called Washington Irvine than the Alhambra. I learnt a lot more about this random American rather than the history of this incredible site.
Do not miss this activity. Not a fan of big groups the self guided audio experience was perfect. 🙏🏼🤍🤍
An amazing place with awesome views. Unfortunately the temperature was 36 degrees which made it quite difficult to walk around comfortably. The gardens were beautiful.
It is better to buy the tickets at the Alhambra ticket office. We were required to pickup our tickets at an office about a 10 minute taxi ride from Alhambra.
Since we were on a cruise and we had limited time in Granada this was very problematic.
Also, we thought that we had bought a ticket for the entire compound. By the time we found out we needed a separate ticket for the palace it was too late to get a time slot for entry before we needed to return to the cruise.

The trip was Very nice, i had fun and i really liked the audiobook that was given. Although I thought i read the description carefully but apperantly i missed some parts. Because i thought that i bought a ticket for the whole thing, including the alcazaba, gardens and the palace. I know that was my mistake but i wish they wouldve writen the itinerary more clear so it wouldve been easier to read What the trip actually includes. Nonetheless i still had fun and the customer service was really nice and helpful.
I was ill and attempted to contact them to change the time. No response! I did not go. No $ back!!!!
Book direct ad thru the agent we used they where awful and did not explain how audio worked and what we should do. False economy… As we had to download the app and pay even more money

Great tour
We were very disappointed with Play Granada company. The ticket that Play Granada offers includes Generalife gardens ( the best and in my opinion the most beautiful part of Alhambra complex) and other less exciting sites that are free for all visitors. The actual cost of such ticket if you book it directly from Alhambra website is €12. Play Granada charges €39 for the same plus audio tour that is poorly organized, is not user friendly and did not work due to poor connection.
2 days before the tour, this company
texted me and offered Nasdir palace tickets (again, significantly overpriced) for €99 per person. Do not buy it!! If you book Nasdir palace tickets 1-2 wks in advance, the full ticket for all the sites, including Nasdir palace is €44. The day before the tour another text came from a Play Granada agent offering a live tour guide for additional price of €10 per person. And the final disappointment came when we had to walk in 30C heat from the parking to their office to only receive printed tickets and a QR code with a password for the audio tour and from there take a taxi to go to the top of the hill to start our tour. Inconvenient, overpriced, and poorly organized tour.
The audio is a little difficult to figure out the areas at first, but the pictures on the audiobook help guide the process! Viator made it possible, prior to Viator I thought it was too expensive, We are so grateful it wasn't!
My friends and I are in our 70’s, we struggled with the online tour. My sound cut out after the second stop. Worked perfectly when I got back home. There wasn’t a printed map provided which made finding our way around difficult, switching between the audio and map online was not easy. Was only asked for tickets once as 2 areas were free entry.
