This day trip is absolutely amazing . First off the guide Niels is just wonderful . He is knowledgeable and professional , you couldn’t ask for a better guide . The ride to Chamonix was comfortable and relaxing . Once you arrive you immediately start to take in the breathtaking views . I absolutely recommend this day trip from Geneva , the views alone will make you not want to leave .

It’s a full day tour and you’re on a timeline so don’t be late! The altitude is no joke and can make moving difficult. Completely worth the view at the top. One of the best tours we’ve been on.

Excellent tour -made brilliant by our guide who shared his amazing knowledge throughout the trip.
I was travelling with my 17 year old son and husband - and despite a big storm being forecast, our guide change the itinerary so we got to do everything. Our group was the last to do the ice caves. Lots of steps and in the heat I got a coffee and enjoyed the view while my husband and son took the cable car down to the caves! Would recommend.

I’m so glad I joined this tour. It had been a long time since I last traveled alone, so I was feeling quite nervous, but this tour exceeded all my expectations.
The guide was not only funny and engaging but also incredibly knowledgeable, making the experience both enjoyable and informative. The itinerary was very well organized, with regular restroom breaks and smooth transportation throughout the day.
Before the tour, I asked what kind of clothes I should bring, and the guide replied directly and very quickly. I was also worried about finding the meeting point, but the communication before the tour was excellent.
I honestly think this tour is much better than trying to visit these places on your own, whether you’re traveling alone or with your family. You learn so much more, everything is well planned, and you can simply enjoy the experience without wasting time.
I highly recommend booking and paying as soon as possible to secure your spot. This tour is absolutely worth it.
I would definitely recommend this tour to my friends, and I would happily join another tour with this company in the future!

Our experience was delightful; the tour itself was magnificent, but our guide made it fun & informative and provided important guardrails to keep us on time but liberty to explore. Neils is one of the best guides we have ever had!

Our guide, Niels was phenomenal: personable, knowledgeable, entertaining and just the right amount of engagement for us. We typically don’t do guided tours but this was amazing and simple. We have free time to grab coffee and a pastry when we arrived in chamonix for 30 min before our first gondola. Had an hour and 20 for lunch with an abundance of choices for lunch. Niels recommended various lunch spots. We went the last week of July so layering your clothing is necessary. It is warmer in the town but cold at the peak and in the ice cave. We packed a small light weight packable down jacket, but wore a tank top and jeans. Packed a bottle of water. Most of us had a backpack per couple for clothing layering. Can’t say enough about Niels our guide and his friendliness and the knowledge he shared which we would not have benefited from if we went on our own. I recommended doing the full day full package, not the basic trip. Our trip include transportation to chamonix and our cogwheel train, and all the gondolas and entry to the Mer de Glacé, ice caves. Trip is prob not for those with severe fear of heights. But the sights are breathtaking and amazing.

The trip is amazing, and our guide Neils is funny and knowledgeable. When a few of us are left behind on the cable car down to the village,
he's waiting at the station to make sure everyone arrives.
I feel lucky that the weather is sunny/cloudy up there, and i had a great view of the Alps.

I cannot say enough good things about this tour. My family actually rode the train from Paris, and stayed two nights in Switzerland, in order to take this tour. It was totally worth it! I am a big fan of nature but wasn't sure if my husband and two teen daughters would enjoy this as much as I hoped to. So thankful that they did! We each took dozens of photos, and anytime anyone asks about our three-week trip to Europe, this tour is what gets our family pulling out our photos and talking over each other in excitement.
Niels was an excellent tour guide. He had so many interesting things to share about Switzerland and France. Facts that made my teenage daughters excited to relay to others when we returned home. He was also great at pointing out hang gliders and rock climbers all around us. His experiences are incredible to hear, as well.
The views were unbelievable from the top to the bottom of the mountain. The glacier was so much more than we expected. Tunnels to explore in all directions. The cable cars were exhilarating as they climbed the mountain. The train ride to the glacier made us feel as if we stepped into a Bob Ross painting.
My husband continues to tell people, "I was seeing it all with my own eyes, and didn't believe it was real".
The town that we explored for lunch and free time, Chamoniox, was my favorite from all of the places my family visited on our road trip of three countries. The bakeries and restaurants have me dreaming of returning someday.
In case you can't tell, I highly recommend this tour. I didn't want it to end.

Neils was a fantastic tour guide! He was very personable and made this experience a very memorable and special day. The views from Mont Blanc were breathtaking and he had great shopping/eating recommendations in Chamonix Sadly, the train wasn’t running today due to a strike but Neils did everything possible to try to make up for it. I highly recommend this tour. Definitely ask for Neils. You won’t be disappointed.

The cable car to the top of Mont Blanc is a 20 minute ride to the top. I wouldn’t recommend it for little kids. It is daunting. Once you’re there, the sites are magnificent. The guide was phenomenal. he was very funny, entertaining and knowledgeable.

What a great way to explore Chamonix and Mont Blanc. Our guide, Neils, was super personable, organized, and informative! We had a beautiful day in the weather and experience. The only disappointment was the train strike that prohibited us from going to the ice caves. But more time on Mont Blanc and in Chamonix was very welcome.
I would highly recommend the tour.

We booked a tour 3 days prior and on the day itself we were in the Rue de alpes where the location of the bus was supposed to leave from. There were several buses who refused us bec provider was not included in the tour. Apparently the waiting area was farther the other street from all the other buses. We tried calling the operator and he could not be reached. Texted us they were about to leave but did not respond to my text that we are looking for the bus. We were eventually left (4 of us). No refund .

Hello, first of all, our guide.Tried contacting you multiple times without success. As you did not reply to the mail. You sent us a screenshot of attempting to call, but you did not have connection. Your calls did not go through as it clearly states on your screenshot you sent us. The calls were canceled.. Our partner company informed us at the end of the day that you were standing in their office. Even after them telling you the exact location of your tour and explaining you that the tour was about to leave, but yet you were sure that you are at the correct location.
When our guide finally contacted you, it was already too late. We had a full group. Everyone was on time, and of course they all wanted to leave on their excursion after waiting an extra 6 minutes.
We are sorry you had a bad experience, but you must understand timing is very crucial for a group tour.
If you're not on time or at the wrong location, please make sure your phone is well connected and the number you have given is available.
The meeting time for this store is at 8:15. The address is quite clear and we even have a google maps link to arrive at the exact location.
It is normal that other companies did not let you on their bus.If you did not have the right ticket for their company.
We offered alternatives, and even for you to come.The next day which you refused.
We apologize for your lost excursion.

Niels was a fantastic tour guide; probably one of the best we have experienced in our travels. He was very knowledgeable, personable, entertaining and accommodating. The tour itself takes you to some extraordinary scenery of Mont Blanc and the surrounding mountains. This was a not miss tour and the highlight of our visits to Copenhagen, Norway and Geneva.

This tour is wonderful in every way. Neils, who leads this tour is an enthusiastic and kind young man. When I fell behind at the Ice Caves, reassuringly Neils stayed behind and climbed the stairs till I reached the Escalators to the top where the Train was. Throughout the tour Neils gave us valuable information. The tour started from a coach station. However, Neils waited at the meeting point mentioned on the Viator website. The scenery is magnificent from the top of Mont Blanc.

Excellent adventure. Views were spectacular. Thought Mont Blanc view would be the highlight but the ice cave was very special.
Our tour guy Nils was tremendous. Informative but not overbearing. Good humor. Kept us all together and on time.
Our bus was clean and comfortable.
Overall a wonderful and worthwhile experience. I highly recommend.

The guide, Niels, is energetic, informative and very clear in his management of the group. Experience includes several very memorable things: touring Chamonix the site of the first Winer Olympics, going almost to the peak of Mt. Blanc the world’s most dangerous mountain and going inside a complex ice cave museum built into a glacier. We went during a heat wave so Chamonix was uncomfortably hot. Under normal. It instances dress for Chamonix but bring layers for higher altitudes.

We LOVED this experience. The guide was well educated and able to provide lots of information about the area, tour, towns, people, and it's history. The Viator description was accurate with details on how to meet, who to meet with, timing, pricing etc. I wish it would have had a note about NOT being able to visit the inside of the ice glacier as it no longer exists as the pictures project. However, you can visit the bottom where it WAS but cannot venture to it / out on it. They do offer a partial refund for that part of the tour if you wish to skip the cog train portion. We took the cog understanding no refund and no glacier walk and still had a fantastic time. Views were outstanding, company was spectacular and it was amazing to see another aspect of the mountain and world. 10/10 recommend. Well worth the money and tour.
