Wonderful Day in Vatican City
We had an amazing time in Vatican City with an our very knowledgeable guide. The crowds were crazy but obviously that cannot be helped. So glad to have seen the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica and Square.

Great tour with Doriana
I have a walking disability and almost opted for a wheelchair which would have rendered me unable to see the Sistine Chapel and St Peter’s Basilica. The tour company talked me into skipping the wheelchair and I’m glad I did. Our guide, Doriana, was patient and super informative and new all the shortcuts, elevators and places to sit which helped immensely. My daughter and I both loved our afternoon with her. We learned so many things that our heads are spinning…in a good way. Grazie Doriana

Not tour for both Vatican Museums & St. Peter’s.
7 people didn’t show up for the tour & the kind tour guide, Alexandra, waited. So, we got started late in the rain. No such thing as “skip the line”. Alexandra was an excellent guide. The tour of the Museum exceeded our expectations. But, it ran too long & we couldn’t get into St. Peter’s Basilica.

St. Peter's Basilica on a sunny day, Rome
  • Be prepared for security lines similar to those at airports, including metal detectors, bag scanners, and potentially long waits.

  • This is one of the most popular attractions in all of Italy, so crowds are nearly inevitable.

  • The Basilica of St. Peter has a strict dress code—no bare shoulders, midriffs, or knees—and you won't be allowed in unless you adhere to it.

  • A skip-the-line tour of the Vatican Museums that includes St. Peter's enables you to bypass the basilica's long entry lines; you still have to go through the security check.

  • Climbing the dome atop the Basilica to take in the fantastic views over St. Peter's Square, requires a ticket.
