Stunning views across the...

Stunning views across the countryside. We were very well looked after and could see the high standards of the stables. The horses were very calm and laid-back, relaxed with loud noises and traffic. Clara was a fantastic, experienced and friendly guide who made sure everyone had a great time. The beginner riders were very well looked after and always safe, while others had the opportunity to trot and explore at a faster pace. Thanks again !

Scenic route and friendly

Guide was very personable and helpful with inexperienced wife. Extremely scenic tour of vineyards and surrounding Montepulciano. Horses were geared to rider experience of horses. Cheese and wine following the ride was outstanding. Highly recommend for experienced and inexperienced riders.

Great experience

Every thing was a delight start to finish Simona was really helpful and insightful teaching Ilya all about the history and culture of Tuscany. the horses were well behaved and the scenery was beautiful. I would have loved to book it for longer. The vineyard was a treat as well. We bought five bottles and sent home I highly recommend this for anyone wanting to get a true authentic Italian experience

Magical Tour

I wish I could give Marika more than 5 stars. We have been traveling in Italy for almost 2 weeks and have done tours in each city. This was by far the best one! She was prompt picking us up, and was very responsive with messaging ahead of time. She clearly knows every nook and cranny of Lucca and loves this place. As we rode in the carriage with Mario (the horse) at the helm, townspeople would call out friendly greetings to her, which made Lucca even more magical - like a small village. The history was very interesting as well. We are English speakers, and Marika’s English was excellent and was able to answer all of our questions. She was charming, funny, and made us fall in love with Lucca. We will definitely be back! One more note— where we are from in the USA, horses are not always treated well (like NYC carriage rides), please know that Marika’s horses are very well loved and live outside the walled city where they can just be horses in a farm setting.. She is clearly very careful about their safety and happiness, so if you are worried at all about this, please don’t be. They are well loved.

A wonderful way to see Lucca

Marika & Mario (the beautiful horse) were lovely. We really enjoyed our time with them taking in all the sights of Lucca. A fabulous way to see the city. Marika lives in Lucca so knows the streets. Mario is gentle & has a couple of stopping off places where he receives treats. Very cute!

We really enjoyed this experience and would definitely recommend it! The guide was very friendly, and the countryside was beautiful. The horses were gorgeous too, and we loved spending time with them. For an extra €30 euros we were also provided with transport from the train station to the farm and back to the Leaning Tower, which was definitely a plus.
