Black Forest day out a highlight.
This is a great day trip with Daniel who is a fantastic guide. Daniel sent a welcome message together with photos of his van and the meeting place which were much appreciated. The day was well planned and the Black Forest area was beautiful. I would thoroughly recommend this trip.

Less time at Colmar
From other reviews, we knew our driver wasn’t a ‘tour guide.’ Smail was on time, a great driver, polite, and told us a little extra during the drive when asked. For the most part, he played the English narration and let that do the information. When we saw how busy the castle was, he did give us prepaid tickets so we could skip the line and pay him back later. The castle was great, Riquewihr was lovely and laidback (go during the week for less people), and the four of us all found Colmar underwhelming and wish we’d had more time at either of the other locations. We also got to Colmar near the end of lunch and when restaurants are finishing lunch service, making it more difficult to find a good place to eat and people watch.

Really fun and delicious food tour of Strasbourg.
We really enjoyed this tour so much. All of the food was delicious and our tour guide, Christine, was wonderful. She told us a lot about the history of the town and the culture and was incredibly friendly and helpful. We left the tour completely full from all of the great food. Our two teenagers also really enjoyed the tour. I highly recommend it!

Great afternoon tour of Strasbourg
Great overview of the city and history of Alsace. My wife and I visited with our friends. It was our first time on a Segway. It only took a few minutes to figure out how to ride the Segway.
B was a great tour guide. She answered all our questions and gave us a great perspective on the city.

Must-do tour!
This is a must-do tour - the charm of these French villages were breathtaking! The driver, who was also our guide, William, was very pleasant, and I liked the idea that this was basically an independent tour. We had ample time to explore the Castle Haut-Koenigsbourg and the Alsace villages on our own. In Colmar, be sure to go into the Tourist office to get helpful tips and to view the Venice canal area. Be mindful, however, that this tour starts at the bus station which is not in the heart of Strasbourg so we needed to take a taxi to get there. It is initially confusing once there because of the many buses, but look instead for a large black passenger van bearing the tour logo for pick up. Unbeknownst to us, there were no taxi's at the bus station for the return trip to town, so we had to enlist the help of a local to assist with purchasing a tram ticket and which one to take us to the Strasbourg train station near our hotel.

Relaxing Opportunity to See Alsace
A great small group tour of Colmar, Riquewihr village and Haut Koenigsbourg Castle. It was at the perfect pace and made for a nice relaxing tour. Our guide Leia was terrific. She was an excellent driver and tour guide. She was very knowledgeable, able to answer many queries including the wines of the region.

A gorgeous day out - perfectly planned, beautiful scenery and villages. 10/10!
Brilliant!! This was such a good trip - really well planned, with variety throughout the day. There's an audio commentary on the bus as you drive through the picturesque smaller villages, and the driver was really good at stopping to make sure we could all take photos. Then the stops are each in really fascinating and beautiful villages, with plenty of time to walk around each, get a coffee, or an ice cream, with lunch at the second main stop. I was pleasantly surprised as I thought some of it would feel rushed, but I felt like I got to walk around the main parts of all four villages, each one more stunning than the last. The driver was super-friendly and helpful, and as we had a small group we all got to chat a bit and get to know each other which was really nice. It helped that the sun was shining, but all in all this was an absolutely perfect, dreamy day!

Interesting and fun, great guide
We visit two wineries. In the first one the host was very warm and friendly, in the second one, Klipfel, the host was very knowledgeable of the Grand Cru areas and soils. Our tour guide Lea was very knowledgeable and friendly, and made sure everyone had a good time and tasted the type of wine they wanted.

Exceptional Wine Journey
Absolutely exceptional. Private tour in a private vehicle visiting three wineries, charming villages, and an opportunity to experience Alsatian culture and hospitality. The wineries were the highlight of course, ranging from a winery with a storied and historic pedigree in the region, and two new wineries with a modern focus yet deeply ingrained in the established wine culture. This will be a highlight for your trip, a wonderful day excursion, and an opportunity to experience Alsatian Wine from the hands of the growers and producers.

Delightful!
The tour was excellent and our guide Camilla was delightful. She did a great job of organizing and presenting it in alignment with our interests. This was one of the first things we did in Strasbourg and we’re so glad we did—it set us up for days 2 and 3 of our visit to this beautiful region of France.

Off the beaten track excellence
Off the beaten track excellence - we booked this tasting as the only option I could find for a Sunday in the region. We wanted a private picked up tour from Strasbourg but there were none available on a Sunday. We later learnt that practically all small towns close on a Sunday! So we were excited to find this one.
We trained from Strasbourg to Barr (40min train ride) thinking we would walk around Barr explore. But nothing is open in Barr on Sunday. We walked from Bar to Gertwiller for the tasting (20min) and although we were early we could purchase a glass of wine and sit on the terrace.
The tasting experience was fantastic and interactive. Started by walking out to the vineyard and then into the cellars. Their interactive film was really informative. The first one was quite simple about basic wine making practised (a little too basic for anyone that knows wine) but still fun because of the great host. The second film in the barrel store was great as we learnt of the estates history.
Wines were great and we purchased a few bottles that we could enjoy on holiday. We had to leave quickly to make our train back, but the whole experience was great. The closest train station at Gertwiller was only a 8min walk.
Overall- very happy with the experience- but people need to know that nothing is open on a Sunday in these areas.

Perfect Day Trip!
We had one day in Germany and this was the perfect trip. Our guide Thierry was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable about the area and shared a lot of history and cultural norms that we wouldn’t have known otherwise. 10/10 recommend him for a tour guide. Make sure you wear comfortable clothes and good shoes for walking/hiking a little through the Black Forest. It’s a must see. Baden Baden is a quaint town with shopping and cafes. Do not go on a Sunday the shops are closed.
