We booked the tour last minute as the weather finally cleared up. I was worried about a very late night reading some other reviews. We got picked up promptly around 930. Initial part of the night was a bit slow but when the lights started coming out, they were spectacular. The guide was very knowledgeable and above all, very patient in taking our photos. And these are so much better than what I took on my phone. We were back by about 12 pm. Highly recommend:

Marteinn was brilliant - engaging and knowledgeable. A couple didn't manage to get there on time, but he did as much as he possibly could to ensure they could catch us up, which, unfortunately for them (because they missed a great tour experience), they didn't. As a local, we learned a huge amount about Icelandic and Viking history from him, right up to the present day. He demonstrated a good sense of humour and shrewd level of awareness to encourage debate without getting too controversial. The group was small (8, but should have been 10) and that made it feel more personable. Not too strenuous physically and taken at an easy pace, with the occasional opportunity to shelter from a biting wind and he ran perfectly to time. Marteinn was able to give guidance and recommendations on how to get the best from our holiday as well. He showed genuine interest in his guests and we felt valued as a result. A great experience. We had two of the most experienced and wonderful people to take care of us. Chris our guide was great, keeping us informed and making sure we were doing great! Robert , our driver took us safely for 14 hours through some of the most challenging wind storms I’ve ever been through!! Bravo!! Great tour

Entertaining and informative tour with our guide Dominika who provided guests with a brief history of each site explaining the geology interspersed with local music and personal stories. Observed the incredible tectonic rift at Thingvellir, the breathtakingly frozen Gullfoss waterfall, steam vents and geysers including Stokkur water spout and finally a relaxing visit to the world famous Blue Lagoon. Definitely recommended.

My sister and I loved this tour. Our tour guide was Gunnar, and he was incredible. We had a gas station stop shortly into the tour which allowed us to get coffee, a pastry and make a bathroom run. We went to Skógafoss, Vik, Reynisfjara Black Sand Beach, Solheimajokull Glacier and then ended with Seljalandfoss. The itinerary felt well planned and I felt we had enough time at each stop. Vik is where we stop for lunch and there was enough time and food options. My only advice is dress appropriately, Iceland weather can be unpredictable.

Our group of six had an amazing time on our private Golden Circle tour with BR Tours, booked through Viator. Every stop on the tour had the most incredible stunning sights. Our driver/tour guide Siggi was very informative, accommodating & friendly as well as an excellent, safe driver. Siggi never rushed us. We were able to tour all sights at our own pace. We also had a wonderful relaxing lunch at the cute and cozy tomato/ horse farm. Jon from BR Tours was my initial contact and responded to all questions without delay. Jon actually met up with us at the waterfall area of the tour to provide our group with crampons so that we could safely walk on the icy pathways. We really appreciated BR Tours going above & beyond which made for a most memorable experience.

The Reykjavík tour company is amazing. Phenomenal tour and guide and driver were very good. They even went out of the way and did additional northern lights stop on their own initiative when it wasn’t part of tour. Very knowledgeable and clearly want Tourists to enjoy the experience

The tour was very well run and covered all the sights as were described in the description of the tour online. Sunny, our tour guide, was exceptional in her description of each site and also giving recommendations on which way to get the best views. Szymon our driver was a true professional.
