An Amazing Puerto Rican Culinary Experience
I had an incredible one-on-one cooking class with Try Cooking Tours, where I got to learn about the delicious food, culture, and traditions of Puerto Rico. The experience was so much more than just cooking, I learned about the history and meaning behind the cuisine while getting hands-on and creating some truly amazing dishes.
Mauro was absolutely incredible! His knowledge of Puerto Rican culture and cuisine, combined with his creativity and passion for cooking, made the entire experience so enjoyable and memorable. Everything we made was absolutely delicious, and I loved being able to taste and appreciate the food we prepared together.
You can really tell that Mauro is a talented chef who genuinely loves sharing his culture and culinary knowledge with others. I would definitely recommend Try Cooking Tours to everyone visiting Puerto Rico. This was one of the highlights of my trip, and I would absolutely do it again! 🇵🇷❤️👨🍳

Our tour guide was very...
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and fun. She encouraged questions and had many tidbits to share with us. The gathering area before and after your tour is very cute, with spaces for food, a rum bar, and clean bathrooms. The bartenders were very friendly with great drinks.

I visited Casa Bacardí...
I visited Casa Bacardí during my trip and had such a great experience! I booked my tour last minute and ended up missing my original time slot, but the staff was incredibly helpful and quickly got me rebooked for a later tour. Everyone was so friendly and accommodating, which immediately made me feel welcome. I went solo, but that didn’t last long. A random group I met bought me a shot, and I ended up meeting some really amazing people throughout the day. The staff also recommended a meal for me, and I’m glad they did because it forced me to eat before I started drinking lol. The food was delicious and definitely helped me pace myself. One of my favorite parts was meeting a wonderful woman and her husband. She was celebrating her birthday too, so we instantly connected. We spent time taking beautiful pictures together and made some great memories. The gift shop was amazing, and I picked up a few things for myself and my family. Between the drinks, the food, the people, and the atmosphere, the entire experience was a highlight of my trip. Honestly, the photos came out so good they should put us in a Casa Bacardí ad and pay us lol! Highly recommend visiting if you’re in Puerto Rico.

A magical memory to last a lifetime!
Everything about this experience is magical… From Tony’s beautiful, historic, home / B&B to the flavors, aromas, tastes and stories you’ll experience. If you like Puerto Rico, Tony’s class will make you FALL IN LOVE!!! Honestly, our afternoon cooking, learning and eating with Tony will be a memory that lasts a lifetime. Don’t hesitate to book this. I actually got teary eyed driving back to our Airbnb after the experience because it was over lol! Honestly, it’s pure magic!!

So fun! We learned so much in one hour!
This was so much fun! We did this lesson on the last day of our trip and it has been a highlight. In one hour, the instructor took us from basic steps to a full circuit. He was so fun and engaging. Both my husband and I really enjoyed this lesson. Would highly recommend.

Our favorite stop on a week long visit of Puerto Rico
Liela was a great host and her place is gorgeous. She took us through several Puerto Rican dishes; and shared the recipes with us. After lunch she took the time to share recommendations on spices, and told us about her favorite restaurants in Old San Juan (our next stop).
