Top Potsdam Crime Tours in 2026

As your tour guide, it is my solemn duty to lead you through this powerful and poignant site, where echoes of the past resonate and the lessons learned are etched into the very fabric of the surroundings. Our journey begins at the entrance gate, marked by the infamous slogan "Arbeit Macht Frei" – "Work Sets You Free." This chilling phrase sets the tone for what lies ahead, as we explore the various barracks, watchtowers, and historical exhibitions that reveal the stories of those who endured unimaginable suffering within these walls. Walking through the solemn rows of barracks, you'll gain insight into the daily lives of the prisoners, each structure holding untold tales of resilience and tragedy. So, let us embark on this journey together, honoring the memory of those who suffered and pledging to create a world where tolerance, compassion, and human dignity prevail.
