Tour of Balat and Fener with Volkan
A great tour of the Fener and Balat areas of Istanbul, and I can honestly say that our guide Volkan was as knowledgeable and as enthusiastic about providing information to our group as any guide we have had the pleasure of touring with. His description of the mosaics at the Chora Mosque was incredibly detailed, and added significantly to our understanding and enjoyment of the tour.
The flexibility in pickup and drop off was much appreciated….thanks for a great day!

Fantastic Fener & Balat Tour with Beyhan
We had a fantastic private tour with Beyhan and would highly recommend her. She was so friendly, passionate, and incredibly knowledgeable about the history and culture of Fener and Balat. We loved exploring the churches, colourful streets and learning the stories behind them, it was a side of Istanbul we never would have discovered on our own. One of the highlights of our trip. Thank you, Beyhan!

There are terrific views from the top of Galata Tower! Seeing the Fener/Balat neighborhoods provided a different perspective of the city, away from the high tourist traffic areas. Our tour guide was phenomenal and very knowledgeable on the history of the city.

Highly knowledgeable. Lots of walking.
Super friendly and animated guide. A lot of information to digest, which makes the visit more meaningful. Highly recommended. It started slow at first with the walks, but later on, lots of walking (up hills). So, be prepared to walk a lot. Guide was very helpful with taking photos too. I appreciate that!

Worth the Walk
Our tour guide Kim made this walking tour worth the while. She narrated all the major and interesting points clearly and was open to questions. She also kept a good walking pace. I enjoyed riding both the tram and the ferry, which were completely new experiences for me. Thanks Kim for creating a memorable day.

Fantastic tour, lots of decorated cafes and colourful houses. Kübra is a wonderful guide and was very knowledgeable. Met some great people on the tour as well. Highly recommend!

Best most unique tour of Istanbul.
Our favorite tour. Perfect for families studying classical history. It was very well managed and scheduled to show us lots of history that filled in gaps in our history lessons. Highly recommend.
Also, this one was especially good because it's a female tour guide who addresses everyone. The male tour guides in Türkiye will not talk to the women in a group.

Little hidden gem
Kim was exceptional, super friendly, and knowledgeable. I highly recommend to anyone who want too see and experience some out of the beaten path. It was worth it. Kim even put a special touch and stopped to get tea and baklava. Yummy. Very special trip.

She took the tour at our pace. We had just landed that morning after a 11 hour flight, so it was so welcoming. It was very adaptable to what we were feeling or not feeling.

Cute Neighborhood
What a sweet tour. Just a walk around a cute neighborhood with lots of history and color. Tried some great coffee and bought a couple souvenirs to bring home.

Excellent walking tour with an exceptional guide. His knowledge and explanations of everything were great. He answered every question and was a wealth of knowledge about Istanbul and the area we toured.

Life experence
Wouu Yunus was arranged for an off-the-beaten-track contemporary art tour. I got to see lots of hidden gems, great galleries. I also asked to be taken to an authentic restaurant and had delicious lunch. We ended the tour at Balat and were dropped off at the Iron Church . I highly recommend it. Great man
