What are people saying about Inverness

Great day out
Mike was an excellent guide - we were impressed with his ability to drive and tell us so much about the places we passed. There were plenty of stops for views and loos and the weather was much better than forecast. I didn't know there were charging points on each seat, so that would be a good thing to mention. The scenery was, of course, spectacular. We had a bacon buttie at our first stop - although we'd planned fish and chips in Portree, the added snack was a welcome accompaniment to the coffee. It was a long day, but we got back 10 mins ahead of schedule. Well worth doing.

Wonderful 2 day isle of skye tour
Took the two day Isle of Skye ,fairy pools and highland castles tour from Inverness. Our tour guide Lawrence made it a special and memorable experience. Spotting Highland cows and getting to pet them was truly wonderful. A beautiful surprise was getting to see finches eating seeds out of your hand , near the fairy pools, thanks to Lawrence. He made the tour extra fun by giving us such surprise experiences. The tour was well organised and Lawrence took extra care to make sure we had a fantastic time.We stopped at many vantage points to click some beautiful pictures and spotted wildlife like hares, deers, eagles and sheep along the way. Overall a wonderful tour experience.

This was a magical...
This was a magical experience! We got to see EVERYTHING we wanted to plus some extra! Jack pointed out some amazing sites during our drive. There was a gorgeous sunset on our way back and he even stopped for us to get a picture of the pink purple sky in the mountains. Jack was extremely informative and I took his food and whiskey recommendations and they were great recommendations! 🥰

Bus, boat, castle and cows!
The whole trip was very well run. Our bus driver was very informative and friendly. The crew on the boat were very nice and had a good sense of humor. While rainy, we still enjoyed the time at the castle exploring. An added bonus was our stop by a small field with two very friendly Hairy Coos! The bus driver/guide even brought food for us to feed them. Great tour and worth the $.

Inverness, the biggest city in the Scottish Highlands, is an excellent base from which to explore the area. There are dozens of Inverness tours to choose from, including excursions to 1,000-year-old castles, the Isle of Skye, whisky distilleries, Outlander and Harry Potter filming locations, and a Bronze Age burial site. Just outside Inverness, you can also visit the historic Culloden battlefield as well as Loch Ness—you may not see the lake’s famous monster, but you’ll see her likeness everywhere.
