Great trip

Our driver picked us up at 6am. It was about 2.5 hrs drive and he stopped along the way for coffee and snacks. It was overall a great drive. The tour was interesting and informative. I highly recommend taking this day trip if you want to experience Alexandria city in a short time.

Must Do Day in Cairo

I had an absolutely incredible experience with Misk Tours and can’t recommend them enough for anyone visiting Cairo. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized and stress-free. We were picked up on time, the car was clean and comfortable, and the driver made us feel completely safe throughout the day. Our guide, Mohamed, was truly exceptional. He’s not only incredibly knowledgeable about Egypt’s history and culture, but also super friendly, relaxed, and easy to be around. He gave us the flexibility to explore at our own pace, never rushed us, and made the whole experience feel personal rather than scripted. If you can, definitely request Mohamed he made the day unforgettable. We managed to fit so much into one day: exploring the Great Pyramids of Giza (including going inside!), visiting the Great Sphinx of Giza, riding camels, enjoying a great lunch, doing some shopping, and even quad biking. Despite how much we did, the day never felt rushed. What really stood out was how comfortable and pressure-free everything was. There was absolutely no pressure to buy anything or visit specific shops everything was completely optional. Every person we interacted with through the tour was friendly and respectful, and we didn’t experience any scams or uncomfortable situations at all. They even accommodated our request to start early so we could beat the crowds at the pyramids, which made a huge difference. Overall, this was a full, seamless, and genuinely enjoyable experience. If you’re visiting Cairo even just for a day I highly recommend booking with Misk Tours. You won’t regret it.

Worth Every Penny – The Perfect Cairo Tour

The pyramids are vast and busy, but Ebrahim is incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole experience fun. He knows exactly where to take you so you have space to listen and take it all in. Hisham was an amazing driver. He got me to the places, and even though he was driver only, he answered questions. This is okay for a female solo traveler. When you get into the church complex you may find that a guide is helpful so that you don’t miss anything. There are inexpensive guides for hire walking around.

Highly recommend!

It's a completely different experience to visit the market and Islamic Cairo during the evening/night time. There's so much happening, and the buildings look incredible with the night mights; plus, the temperature is more pleasant. The guide was amazing! Super lively, talkative and informed. He spoke in Spanish and English, making sure everyone got access to all the information. He was also very diligent towards people's dinner choices, as well as providing money for purchases in the market in case the costumers didn't have cash. 5/5, highly recommend!

We had an incredible and very packed day exploring Luxor’s West Bank. The itinerary included the Valley of the Kings, Valley of the Queens and several other fascinating stops. Both the driver and the guide were great. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, sharing rich historical context and answering all our questions with patience and enthusiasm. The pace was full but well-organised, allowing us to see so much in just one day without feeling too rushed.

Ahmed was a great guide! The tour went really well.

Reading the comments the day before the tour I almost canceled, but didn't because it was too late for the refund. Thank god, this was great tour and nothing was so wrong as other said. My hotel was on the island and I choosed via whatsapp to come to starting point at 4am for free. Public ferry works all night and it cost 100egp. It took some time to pick up other people, and we got to Abu Simbel at 9:15, bought tickets, entered, got to the temples and there our guide Ahmed talked some 20min. After that we got 1:15 to enter temples and do whatever. It's enough, you can take it slowly. Long day, but 100% worth it. Don't forget you are going through the desert most of the time, so you have amazing views as well. I admit, they could be more organized and not send you the messages about pick up at 11pm night before, that was the only problem I had.

Really good guide

It was a very interesting experience. Our guide was fantastic. He was great at storytelling and had a lot of knowledge. He was also very open about his own experiences and opinions and it was a great eye opener for foreigners like us. We visited several churches and a synagogue which carry a massive amount of history. I am not sure if it’s mentioned in the itinerary, to get to the last church you have to drive through the so called ‘garbage city’ - which is not for everyone- and so was visiting the city of the dead - but we are glad we did that as it’s a fascinating part of Cairo. Highly recommend this tour. Our tour guide was William - very knowledgeable!

Our guide, Isaac, and driver, Hamza, were both friendly and welcoming throughout the tour. Isaac was especially knowledgeable and incredibly accommodating, making sure we felt comfortable and informed at every stop.
