What are people saying about Dubrovnik

Darko was a great guy,...
Darko was a great guy, the tour was informative but not loaded with too much information so we got to enjoy the beautiful surroundings independently. We made great time with the crossings of the borders and it felt like a leisurely day with appropriate length stops.

Beautiful waterfalls and fun shops!
This is a full day trip. Got picked up at the bus stop closest to our VRBO right on time at 7:05 am. Got dropped off after 4 pm.
Our tour guide was “Disco”. The van could seat up to 8 passengers. There were 6 of us. Van very clean and ran well & Disco an excellent driver. He knows all of the shortcuts & the boarder guards. Was an easy border crossing. The falls were beautiful & we were there early, which was great cus it started to get busy as time went on. Stayed there for an hour, which was enough time to wander the park, take in the falls & sit down with a nice cappuccino & pastry. We then headed to Mostar. Disco introduced us to vendors & we got great discounts. The restaurant he recommended had great service & food. Mostar was an interesting town. Lots of shops, gelato stalls, restaurants and interesting sights. Disco was a good tour guide, filling us in on history about the region and sights along the way.

Great day trip
Very good tour, safe and professional driver, Carmen was a very bubbly guide and kept us entertained and informed throughout the tour. We were very lucky at the border both ways and had minimal delay . Perast was small but so quaint and peaceful. Kotor Old Town was bustling but well worth a visit. Definitely recommend.

Strongly recommend
Excellent tour, The waterfalls were beautiful and Mostrar was full of character although very busy. Definitely wear sensible footwear, can be slippy and hilly in parts. A special thanks to Branko and Milko, who made the tour comfortable and kept us well informed with interesting facts. We would say it was one of the best tours we have done

Fantastic Dubrovnik Tour
Ivo, our guide, was fantastic! He very knowledgeable and flexible with the schedule. He waited while we got a bite to eat in Civtat and gave us options in Dubrovnik. He explained the history of the area very well and even gave us restaurant recommendations. Highly recommend!

Montenegro, the hidden gem
We booked a private tour to Montenegro with a driver and sight seeing on our own with no guide. Our driver, Matko was great. He offered lots of historical and geographical information of the area. His communication skills were really good and he was very friendly. Matko gave some great suggestions when there were issues locally meaning we would have had difficulty getting to and seeing some of the places on the original itinerary. He asked what our interests and dietary requirements were and recommended somewhere that was renowned for its seafood for our lunch in Perast. The restaurant was a beautiful historical building that had been a working mill. Also, as there was a local car race in Kotor, the road to the cable car was closed so he suggested a wine tasting and trip to a boutique vineyard, Savina where we had spectacular views, amazing grazing platter and tastings of their 3 main wine offerings and a sample of Grappa at the end. Yelina was the hostess for our tour and sampling and she was so delightful, explaining the history of the vineyard, showing us around and organising the tastings. Absolutely amazing winery. The whole day was remarkable, Montenegro was a beautiful country, friendly people, interesting historical places and overall a relaxing and informative day.

Review for Ana
We had Ana as our tour guide and she was great. She was very friendly with a lot of local knowledge and useful information she shared with us. Our trip in Montenegro was very good. We got delayed though for 3 1/2 hours at the border control in Croatia. We understand the newness of the recently implemented EES but they could have provided more staff to work, more than 1 lane open especially when dealing with several busloads of tourists and swift change of shifts. As it was, many of us had to go to the lone toilet available and it was a very long line. Throughout it all, Ana was very helpful and kept us informed with updates. She was the perfect person for the right job. We highly recommend her.

Lovely place to visit
Lovely place to visit our tour guide was knowledgeable. This tour is a lot of driving around for the 1st couple of parts.
One problem with the tour that can’t be helped is border control it takes time to go through the borders, be g a minivan it was much quicker than a large coach

Worth it!
Long day and lengthy waits at the border crossings (as you're on a tour bus with 50+ others) but the trip was well worth it. Mostar is a beautiful town and the local guide was great! Kravice waterfalls are great to see and in the warmer months would be great for a swim! Just beautiful.

A wonderful tour of three beautiful islands
This tour is a wonderful way to see three islands in a day. The boat is clean and the staff are attentive. The vegetarian lunch was minimal and I was glad I had brought a sandwich. The tour allows one hour to explore the first island, 40 minutes for the second island, and two hours for the third island. I was fortunate to take this trip on a sunny 70° day with not a cloud in the sky and a light breeze. I imagine it would not be so nice on a cloudy or rainy day. Both decks on the boat are shaded, which was very comfortable.

Best Elafiti Island Cruise Company
We travel at least twice a year to various European countries and have booked several local tours over the years. Our experiences with the local tour companies have ranged from outstanding to "just OK." The entire experience with Dubrovnik Boat Tours (DBT) from booking to getting off the boat at the end of the tour was absolutely outstanding. DBT is one of the most professional, efficient, forward-thinking, and accommodating tour companies we've encountered.
The experience started not long after initially booking the tour. Our travel itinerary was very complex and we had questions regarding specific details of how we could get to the departure dock the day of the tour from where we were initially scheduled to stay in Dubrovnik. Every request for information was promptly responded to within a few hours.
A few days before the tour, we hadn’t yet checked what the weather would be the day of the tour. We received a message from Srdjan Klaic, our DBT point of contact, suggesting that if possible, we take the tour a day earlier because the scheduled day of the tour was to be bad weather. The prior day would not be possible, because we would still be traveling to Dubrovnik, so we asked if we could be rescheduled for the day after the scheduled day. He immediately responded that would be OK and that was that.
When we arrived in Dubrovnik, we found that we’d been moved to a different hotel. We informed DBT 24 hours out that our hotel accommodations had been changed last-minute. They immediately made changes to their pickup schedule to accommodate picking us up at the new location - - no questions asked and in a pleasant “can do – no problem” manner.
The staff and crew on the boat were some of the most friendly, professional and fun people one could hope for. On top of all of this, the two lunch options prepared fresh onboard while sailing were absolutely delicious, served steaming hot, and of a quantity one would seldom find in a 4-star restaurant.
Thank you DBT for a most memorable and enjoyable experience.
