Robinson is awesome

Amazing adventure

By far one of the best experiences EVER! Definitely come ready to hike in comfy water shoes but it’s absolutely worth it. If you happen to get Daniella or Chocolate as your guides… you are in luck. Let’s not forget our driver William! Not only did we feel safe the whole time, the guide team was amazing and made sure we were hydrated, had AC and had the best time ever…! Worth it!

We had a great time! Felt extremely safe. Our tour guide was AWESOME and took pictures/videos for us. Be ready to walk on this tour and wear comfy water shoes.Although the walk from the port to the meeting point was quite the walk in heat,it was easy to find. Communication was right on point. Food afterword was delicious. The views of the falls and experience make it all worth it.

Our driver, Miguel, was pleasant, patient, and accommodating to everyone in the group. Upon our arrival, we were warmly welcomed by José, whose knowledge, energy, and enthusiasm made the experience even more memorable. He is truly an excellent tour guide! We had the opportunity to visit some incredible places throughout Santo Domingo, and each stop gave us greater insight into the rich history, culture, and heritage of the Dominican Republic. José did an amazing job bringing the history to life with his knowledge and storytelling, making each location even more meaningful. And the food was absolutely delicious! We had the opportunity to enjoy true Dominican cuisine, and every dish was full of authentic flavors that gave us an even deeper appreciation for the Dominican culture. This was a long day but...

This was a long day but worth it. Susie was the absolute BEST guide! She handled the French & English speakers and was amazing. The photographer was also great and so reasonably priced. Montana redonda had spectacular views, the swings (so cool), hammocks, look out tower, and more! The ride up the mountain was an adventure! The ranch & waterfall were even better. The fresh cacao & coconut bread, authentic lunch, waterfall, & clay mud mask are just a few of the highlights of this stop. Such a great look at the real Dominican culture and cooking. Last stop was the national park boat ride and cave exploring- boat were awesome. Beautiful views, lots of birds, cave drawings, and more. It was a lot of driving but Susie provided a ton of really cool information along the way. The whole day felt very relaxed and nothing was rushed. We also didn't feel like any of the three spots were busy or heavily populated with other tours/visitors. Highly recommend if you are looking for a full day excursion, you like nature/adventure, and you want to see the non resort side of the DR!

Highly recommend this tour company!

Excellent tour company! Very professional. They reached out to us to confirm the booking and even noted that I chose the wrong day (our ship was not in that port till another day) and explained how to correct it. Then a week or two before our tour they reached out again to tell us what to expect and provide instructions. On the day of the excursion, our group had just done a beach day the prior day and really wanted to do more sightseeing after the snorkeling instead of beach time. Richard was kind enough to make other arrangements for us and made it possible. Our guides for snorkeling were excellent and even provided assistance to a family member who panicked and started to struggle in the water. We all had a lot of fun and greatly enjoyed our added on tour experience with Franklin as he showed us around Puerto Plata plus a chocolate and an amber museum (as Richard drove us around). Before we were back on the ship we had even already received pictures from the snorkeling! Thanks to Lotta, Richard, Franklin, Alex and Elvis for an incredible time.

Great excursion

From beginning to end the excursion was great. One of the best excursions I have been on. The night before the company let us know what time our pick up time was which was great and very accurate. Our tour guide was amazing and very knowledgeable about the Dominican Republic, he spoke English, Spanish, and French. I can’t remember his name but I know he was a police officer, hopefully if you go you get him :). It was very nice seeing outside of the tourist area, we went to the famous Catholic Church, a school, a shop, the market, a lady house, Macao beach, and as a group we decided not to do horse back riding. We had lunch at this restaurant which was originally supposed to be at the lady’s house but that didn’t happen unfortunately due to certain circumstances but our driver made it right and we still got lunch. Overall the experience was a 5/5. Highly recommend!

Super fun experience! Highly recommend!! My husband and I throughly enjoyed this excursion. Our tour guide Darwin was very informative and nice. He made sure we stayed hydrated the whole trip, which was super kind of him. He also went out of his way to get us all snacks since our group was hungry before it was lunchtime. We never felt unsafe during the tour while exploring. He kept track of all 8 of us within the group but also let us look around and explore, never rushing us. The authentic restaurant food was super delicious!! It was one of the biggest highlights of the tour for me. You get to horseback ride, make cigars, see how they make chocolate, see the local markets, church, school house and more… every fun packed tour compared to others.. DONT hesitant to book this: you won’t be disappointed!!

This was a great tour because you got to experience different things from the fresh food market, cigar making, coffee/cocoa tour, horseback riding, and to Macao beach!
