Get ready for an exciting adventure that takes you through the VERY BEST of Tamarindo, Costa Rica’s top beach destination! From hidden gems to iconic hotspots, our Self-Guided Interactive Scavenger Hunt will have you discovering, exploring, and unlocking surprises along the way. With 7 days of access, you can complete the hunt at your own pace—whether you want to race to the finish or soak in the experience little by little. Are you ready to uncover the magic of Tamarindo? Let the adventure begin!

Learn how to navigate Tamarindo’s waves during this roughly 1.5 hour surf lesson. Choose the group size that works for your budget, with private, small-group, and larger group options. Practice paddling, popping up, and riding with guidance from your instructor. More experienced surfers can also practice their technique by surfing alongside an instructor.

San José becomes the crime scene in this self-guided detective game, where the clues are hidden in plain sight in the streets around you. The case is the murder of Balthasar, and the evidence is scattered across the old centre - past Plaza de la Democracia, Edificio Metálico, Antigua Aduana and Parque Nacional. You decode messages, photograph what does not add up and press digital witnesses whose stories never quite line up. Every puzzle you crack removes a name from the list of suspects. Play as a couple, bring the children along, or send two or three teams out at the same time and turn the investigation into a race - which is what makes this murder mystery game work as well for a team outing as for a day out. The last answer is waiting somewhere in the centre of San José.

Whether you’re a family wanting better vacation photos or an Instagrammer seeking professional portraits, you’ll love hiring a photographer in San Jose. Choose a photoshoot duration to suit your needs, from one to four hours. Pose at beautiful locations like the National Theater or the city’s many gardens and receive professionally edited photographs as a reminder of your trip.
