If you only have one day in Casablanca, book this tour!

I cannot recommend this tour and company enough I booked this tour very last minute (about an hour before it started) and communication was seamless. Especially welcome after the fiascos I dealt with in Marrakech with tour companies there Pickup was direct from my hotel and when there was a little hiccup with that, someone immediately was responsive on WhatsApp to help coordinate with myself and the driver Sabri was the driver/guide and he ensured not only that we were able to see/learn a lot about Casablanca, he really made us feel so welcome as if we were his personal guests. We were given cold bottles of water after the mosque, he brought traditional bread for us to try and even bought us each an avocado! It was a small group (just me and a family of 3) and we were able to customize the tour ~ more or less time at stops. The Hassan II mosque was incredible and is the do not miss attraction. Note that you must join a tour to visit the interior and it is crowded with many groups but the architecture is stunning and worth that restriction I was not prepared for how incredible the stained glass was in the Notre Dame church nor how tranquil the park we visited would be. Things I wouldn’t have known to book/see on my own I typically choose walking tours but I am glad that I went with this tour since it allowed me to see so many things/places that wouldn’t have been possible on a walking tour. 10 ⭐️

Entry to the mosque for non-Muslims is only permitted with a guided tour, but honestly, it was well worth it in any event. It’s a beautiful fascinating building and the tour was outstanding, full of information and engaging even for children. It was a tiny bit confusing as to where exactly I needed to meet the staff to redeem my ticket, but when messaged them I got a response within moments and everything was perfect from there.

We booked this trip last minute since the 9 day Morocco tour we had done skipped Rabat. Glad we did the tour since we really liked Rabat. It's better than some of the other cities we visited on our 9 day tour. The tour isn't long and it's not a long drive from Casablanca. The tour company kept me updated to let us know when the driver would be coming for pickup.

The Perfect Introduction to Casablanca—Nine Stops and an Incredible Private Tour

I want to preference this review with the guides make a huge difference. I did this same tour two days later with daughter who arrived later than expected bc I loved it so much and the experience was not as good. So it can hit or miss. But this review is based on what I experienced the first time I took the tour. I wish I could recall the guide and driver’s name. They were great. Here’s my review with them. This private tour was the perfect introduction to Casablanca and one of the highlights of our time in Morocco. Over approximately four hours, we visited nine different locations and experienced an impressive mix of faith, history, architecture, culture and everyday community life. Because the tour was private, the experience felt personal, relaxed and well-paced. We were able to ask questions, take pictures and spend time appreciating each location without feeling rushed. The Hassan II Mosque was absolutely breathtaking. Its size, intricate artistry and location partly over the Atlantic Ocean gave it a huge wow factor. Learning about the prayer spaces, ritual washing and the enormous retractable roof—which opens to ventilate the mosque naturally—made the visit even more meaningful. We also visited Notre-Dame de Lourdes Church, where a choir was rehearsing beneath beautiful stained-glass windows. I had the opportunity to light a candle and leave my prayers at the Lourdes Grotto. Seeing sacred spaces representing different faith traditions made the day especially memorable. The former Sacred Heart Church was another beautiful and interesting stop. Our first medina experience allowed us to see another side of Casablanca. We explored the Habous Quarter, visited the colorful olive market, saw a neighborhood bakery and communal hammam, and toured a traditional Moroccan home. These stops helped us understand how food, faith, family, craftsmanship and community are woven into everyday life. We also stopped near the Royal Palace and visited Rick’s Café, giving us an incredibly varied view of the city. Our guide was informative, patient and helpful throughout the experience, and our driver made traveling between the locations comfortable and easy. This tour was an incredible ride from beginning to end. It gave us much more than a collection of beautiful sights—it provided context for what we were seeing and helped us better understand Casablanca’s people, traditions and culture. I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Casablanca, especially if it is your first time in the city. It was personal, educational and truly sensational.

We had an amazing guide, and I am really sorry, I forgot his name. But he was blind. So knowledgeable. How he remembered all the details and he was funny and engaging. Our guide - Migah (spelling ?) and driver were good, his knowledge was excellent and they were very accomodating in making the tour as we wanted it. Communications from them as we were being met (and, as we were early, being approached by many others trying to get us to take their tour instead!) were clear and welcome. An enjoyable day!

Don’t miss seeing the “Blue City” with Abdul and Yosef.

What a wonderful experience! Youssef was our driver and Abdul our tour guide. Both were excellent and highly recommend. Our driver was on time with a clean minivan for the 4 of us and drove very professionally. Abdul spent almost 5 hours with us and we never felt rushed. He knows his city so well, spoke English fluently, showed us a great spot for lunch, took great pictures and videos of us. Seeing the “Blue City” was so worthwhile even with the long 5 hour car ride back and forth from Casablanca. You will not be disappointed having them take you! I had requested both of them beforehand.
