I took this excursion as a solo, female traveler on a half day away from a work conference. It was a great experience and I was so glad I was able to experience it! Pick up and drop off was punctual and the drive was smooth. Yamnuska itself is really peaceful and I enjoyed learning about wolf dogs and the organization’s history of rescuing these beautiful animals. Would highly recommend for a quick, low-key tour

This trip packs so many incredible viewpoints riding along the Icelands Parkway and planned stops. You could drive yourself but wouldn’t enjoy fully the splendor of the Rockies (or at least not safely). We were interested in seeing more locations rather than spending more hours at the Columbia Icefield Adventure Center. This trip gave us that option and did not disappoint. The falls near Jasper were impressive each in their own way. Our tour guide, Kenneth was a fountain of information and his great personality made a long day very enjoyable. His attention to the group’s interests and needs was appreciated. as was the planning necessary to allow regular breaks and still keep on track.

I took part in this tour with my mom and it was one of the best parts of our trip. Despite the early morning & long drives, our tour guide (Steve) provided us with an unforgettable experience. Not only was he extremely friendly, but he was also very knowledgeable and funny. He provided us with photography and viewpoint tips, along with snacks and water. Steve’s service combined with the beauty of the rocky mountains created an amazing day for my mom and I. We definitely recommend this tour, specifically with Steve as your guide! :)

This was definitely manageable for someone who has never ridden a horse before! There are inclines and declines along the way, but that was part of the fun. We did have rain the whole time so not the best views, though I bet it would be beautiful. Regardless, they had long raincoats for us to borrow, explained the horseback riding well, and it was a lovely activity!

We had an excellent experience with our tour guide-Gaurav (Mr.G)! He was incredibly patient, friendly, and maintained such a positive attitude throughout the entire tour. He made sure everyone was comfortable, answered all our questions, and created a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere. His knowledge, professionalism, and positive energy truly made the tour special. We had an amazing experience with Fairy Bus Tours, and a lot of the credit goes to our guide, Raj S. Raj was on time, very organized, and shared a lot of interesting information throughout the day without making it feel like a lecture. He also knew exactly where to position us to make the most of our time at both Moraine Lake and Lake Louise. Now for the fun part… 😄 Raj kept telling us that he’d been incredibly lucky with wildlife sightings over the past couple of weeks—everything from black bears to Banff’s famous grizzly, “The Boss.” We gave him a hard time and joked that we’d believe it only if he could deliver for our tour too. Well… on our way back from Lake Louise, we came around a bend and there was a beautiful black bear cub right by the roadside! The entire bus erupted with excitement. It couldn’t have been a more perfect ending to an already incredible day. Whether it was luck or Raj’s instincts, we’ll happily give him the credit! 😄 If you’re visiting Banff and trying to decide how to get to Moraine Lake and Lake Louise, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Fairy Bus Tours.
