From beginning of September to April the chances of seeing the Northern Lights in Northern Norway are great. The weather (cloud cover) and the geomagnetic prognosis determine where the road takes us on the given day. We will take you where the chances of clear skies are the greatest and the best locations for seeing the Northern Lights. We go all in to find the Northern lights by checking 25+ different spots. Some nights we have a late return to Bodo (like 2 am). Last seasons we have had a hit rate around 88 %. Before the trip starts we will advice on how the chances to see the lights are. We head out from town in a comfortable Mercedes 7 seater van (4WD) with panoramic sunroof.

The canyon is home to abundant marine wildlife, including the magnificent sperm whales. You will also have a chance to encounter other marine mammals, such as pilot whales, orcas, minke, and occasionally Risso's dolphins and fin whales. All these animals frequent the area in search for food (different fish species), which also attract extraordinary bird and other wildlife. In searching for whales, we will most likely encounter different birds (puffins, eagles, gannets, etc.) while we keep our eyes open for Harbor seals. Join our 3,5 hours RIB boat excursion with a maximum of 12 guests to explore the wonders of Bleik Canyon. During the tour, your guide will be onboard to give you information about all the wildlife we encounter, and take photos (as memories) to take them home with you after the trip.

As far as safaris goes - using ebikes gives us an unique and exciting close contact with nature. On flat and easy roads this is your chance to experience a close encounter with the local wildlife! We take our time as the evening twilight sets in a slow pace - keeping a good lookout at both sides. Moose encounters must be treated with respect and caution, so at any spotting we stop and assess this magnificent animals behaviour. Signs may indicate a calm retreat or an opportunity to stay and watch.

On this night tour, you’ll see a little bit of everything. Starting in the center of Bodø, you’ll ride through the city, passing local life until you hit your destination: Ausvika Beach. It’s an easy 5-mile (8-km) bike ride followed by a short walk along the sea. Upon arrival, find a cozy spot by the bonfire surrounded by the sound of crashing waves—this is a fantastic spot to catch the northern lights, or aurora borealis.

This unique tour will take you from the city centre and through the local living areas before leaving the asphalt on to gravel roads and easy paths until we reach the bottom of the climb up to peak Keiservarden. From there it is a 4,5 km ride 360 metres uphill - but no worries, your eBike will help keeping the heart rate down, although a little self effort and a light sweat is necessary. At the top you get a fantastic view of 360 degrees - and a prime location for watching the midnight sun. Downhill is easy and as exiting as you preferr - just keep your speed at a comfortable level and don't scare those on a hike up. While riding we communicate with Walkie Talkies - for guiding and heads-up situations.

We will pick you up at the port terminal in Stokmarknes and will drive you across all the 5 main islands of Lofoten before ending at the port in Stamsund safely on time to board your ship again. If you travel along the Norwegian coast, don't deprive yourself of the possibility of seeing its most beautiful highlights! And no worries: should your ship arrive late at Stokmarknes, we will wait for you, and we'll rearrange the schedule in order to get you to Stamsund on time. (Tip:) We suggest you build your group of up to 8 by connecting with other passengers on your ship. Note: the tour is available only from Stokmarknes to Stamsund (direction southbound) and not the opposite, for reasons of timing.

Biking to Keiservarden’s summit—a trek that’s more rewarding than it is strenuous—just might make you fall in love with Bodø. On this guided tour, you’ll stash your walkie-talkie and hop on an e-bike for a 3-mile (4.5-kilometer) ride to the plateau’s top, nabbing one of the best views in the city. The ride down can be as exciting as you like, and just as much of an adventure.
