You will have the chance to discover every aspect of the sacrifice made by American soldiers on June 6, 1944. We will cover the American seaborne operation by visiting the two beaches where US soldiers landed, Omaha Beach and Utah Beach, as well as the German strongpoint of Pointe du Hoc, assaulted by the US Army Rangers. We will also visit the sites of the US Airborne Operation, including its most iconic site, Sainte-Mère-Eglise, where a terrible battle happened on the night of June 5, 1944. Finally, we will have the chance to pay our respects to the thousands of men who gave their lives to liberate Europe by visiting the Normandy American Cemetery.

Ride through Normandy's countryside in a vintage sidecar, along backroads that tour buses never reach. No crowds, no rush — just winding roads, open fields, and freedom with the wind in your face and the landscape all around you. At Omaha Beach, you walk the same sand where thousands landed on June 6th, 1944. At Pointe du Hoc, you stand atop the cliffs the U.S. Army Rangers climbed under fire — the craters remain. At the American Cemetery, rows of white crosses stretch further than expected, and the place tends to quiet people down. In between, a cider tasting gives the day a different moment — unhurried, grounded in the region's story. We've spent years getting to know these roads and sites. Hop in and we'll share what we love about them.

This is the fuller version of the ride: everything in the shorter tour, extended west along the cliffs to Pointe du Hoc, and finished with a cider tasting in the Norman countryside. We start, as always, at Bayeux Cathedral, consecrated in 1077 before William the Conqueror, then head out on backroads no coach can reach, to Omaha Beach and the American Cemetery at Colleville-sur-Mer, where 9,387 crosses and Stars of David stand across 172 acres above the bluffs. From the cemetery, the route turns west along a quiet cliff path — the Channel on one side, the ground Allied troops once crossed on the other — to Pointe du Hoc, where bomb craters and shattered bunkers still mark the cliffs the U.S. Rangers scaled under fire. We close gently: a cider and Calvados tasting at Domaine Lebrec, a family cider house near Omaha Beach, before the last quiet lanes carry you home to Bayeux. Your guide, your pace, your language — English, French, or Mandarin.
