Great experience
The event was amazing. However my only advice is is to update the Viator app because it shows the dinner starts at 7 PM and I almost missed it because I’ve got so much going on. I forgot the details of showing up at 5:30 but the main screen and the main paper I printed shows the dinner starts at 7 PM and I was not gonna get there till 630 and luckily I noticed that at the last minute and we had a very good driver that got us there in time.

Good way to start a trip in Bangkok
The cruise arrived on time with crews on deck waving and welcoming you on board. The food was delicious in a cruise setting. The variety of food was good. Service was excellent abs attentive. The entertainment with traditional dance, saxophone and singing was great. The cruise stopped in front of Wat Arun for a while allowed us take good pictures. The night end with dancing was fun. A great way to start a trip in Bangkok. Bring umbrella or a fan as there is no waiting area before go on board.

Enjoyed
You get to see a part of Bangkok that is somewhat hidden. It’s a little like Venice. You are given time to walk around the shops along a part of the canal. Delicious mango and sticky rice. The guide named Joe gave us history of the things you see when you are riding the canals. Bottled water is given out. You are required to wear the provided life vest.

Would do again!
Pui was an amazing guide! The adventure was a bit of a drive and train ride to get to but the markets were fun and unique and worth it! The train market was really cool. And riding in the boats was a fun experience as well. Wish there had been more time for shopping but overall really great!

Some of Bangkok’s most famous landmarks perch on the banks of the Chao Phraya River. Bangkok dinner cruises combine the Thai capital’s culture with its world-famous cuisine and reveal the city when it’s gorgeously illuminated after dark. Plus, from your ideal vantage point on the river, you’ll enjoy unobstructed views of waterside wonders such as golden palaces and richly decorated temples while feasting on Thai classics and sipping ice-cold drinks.
