Furnas under the moonlight - what a sight !!!!

This was such a wonderful way to experience Furnas at night ! The food was wonderful and the thermal pools fantastic ! Our tour guide Ivo was terrific & fave us so much information & opportunities to see beautiful sights !! I would highly recommend this tour even if you have seen Furnas during the day . A whole different experience under the moonlight !!

Great way to spend the evening with an interesting meal and purple tea made with hot water that came straight out of the ground!! The hot tubs afterwards were a great way to end the evening. Raphael of course was an excellent host and made it a 10 out of 10 tour.

So! Many! Dolphins!

What a fantastic day we had! The morning was spent with three separate dolphin pods (bottlenose, common, and Atlantic spotted) and gorgeous views of the southern Sao Miguel coastline. We easily saw over 100 dolphins, and at times they were less than a foot from the boat. Our guide was incredibly knowledgable about the animals and our boat's driver was respectful to turn off the engine and not crowd the animals. Lunch was ok, but it was nice to get out of the sun at the height of the day. You get cheese, bread, a non-alcoholic drink and a choice between beef, fish, and vegetarian for your main meal. In the afternoon we got to spent 2 hours in the Islet (snorkeling gear provided) which was a highlight of our entire Azores trip. The boat isn't too big which kept the tour group small and the dolphin experience extra special, but it does mean you feel the waves at times. We had a blast, but that experience isn't for everyone. Take into consideration if you have much older or younger members of your group. Pregnant individuals aren't allowed. All in all, would definitely recommend and would do again if we're back in the Azores!

Amazing, cannot recommend highly enough!

This trip was truly fantastic. AMAZING places to see with just the right amount of time given to each place. I really appreciated 1.5 hours in Terra Nostra so it was enough time to speed walk the park and have a 15 min dip in the hot springs. Dinner after was fab! Ok, the food isn't tasty but it was a fabulous experience and portions were enormous. My tour guide Andre is the best guide I've ever had! He really made the trip so special, I will never forget it. A group size of 8 is perfect. I can't fault this fabulous trip at all.

We has a small tour to the Eastern side of Sao Miguel with Fraga as our guide. The scenery and viewpoints were beautiful. We never felt rushed and met some very nice people in our tour. Fraga was very knowledgable and accomodating to everyone's needs. The lunch was very good. It was well worth it to have a guide so we world know exactly what to see alms have explanations about what we were seeing. I would highly recommend this type and Fraga as a guide.

The tour is great! Jose Miguel (our tour guide and driver) made the day outstanding! Very knowledgeable- we learn so much about the island, the culture, the environment, the food… He brought us everywhere, great viewpoints, nice lunch and experience! A lovely day every step of the way with Carla, our caring guide

This was an all day tour that started with excellent communication from our tour guide, Carla. Carla took the time to know all of the guests names and provided great care all day at every stop. When I was picked up she personally greeted me and even walked down my pedestrian street to get me. When I got in the van the other group mentioned that they did another tour with Carla yesterday and how wonderful of a guide she is. I felt so safe, her driving was professional and she is very knowledgable about each location on the itinerary. I strongly recommend this lovely tour!

Enjoyable day

This trip is made for travelers coming with a cruise ship, we didnt know but our guide picked us up from our hotel and took us for the trip anyway. We drove and got storytellings, and it was nice. Later we had our time to have a spa at Terra Nostra, and enjoyed the botanical garden there. Later we had more drivings and storytelling. The day was good and we had our best time with Joao, our guide. It was a quick tour, but we loved it. Reccomend this.

Fantastic time in Punta Delgada

I wasn't expecting much from this excursion and, to be honest, my impression of the tours offered in Ponta Delgada weren't really interesting to me. I was so glad I took the plunge with this tour though. Our drive to Sete Cidades and the northern part of the island was breathtaking. We stopped at several viewpoints for pictures of the lakes and our tour guide offered to take some spectacular pictures of my family. My daughter especially loved feeding some ducks at the shore of Lagoa das Sete Cidades with some spare cat food the guide had. My favorite part was our visit to the Mosteiros Islets, something I've only seen in pictures and, combined with the area's cliffs and black volcanic sand beaches, made this booking well worth it. To top off all the gorgeous scenery we visited, our tour guide was very knowledgable of the areas and provided insight into all sorts of questions we had. He also knew there would be other tours visiting the areas we went to and adjusted our itinerary so that there were either very few people or no one else but us in the areas we visited. It really made our tour feel personal and curated just for us.

Our 2nd time! Wonderful.

This is the second time we have gone on this tour in three years. We really think it is a great tour and lots of fun and a wonderful way to see so much for a very short period of time. The guys are really making an effort to personalize the tour and give you information about the Island. I'd recommend it again -we thought Carlos was fabulous and we had such a fun time with him.

This tour was a highlight of our 15-day transatlantic cruise. We had friends that did the Royal Caribbean (ship) excursion and from what we heard, there is just no comparison. Our driver and tour operator Luis was amazing! He took us on dirt "paths" to viewpoints that no bus would ever get to. We did visit the main tourist attractions but also spent a lot of time "off road". We requested lunch at a local's restaurant and again, Luis came through. I ordered the Azores specialty - Octopus, and while it was not my favorite, I can see how people would like it. This whole day was just so much fun! We had the opportunity to customize our tour but mostly just had Luis take us to his favorite spots.
