We loved our tour with Normari! She shared so many cool facts about the Fort and OSJ. It kept both my husband and I and our 11 year old daughter engaged and we're still talking about some of the info she shared. She showed us all the beautiful spots and important places in OSJ. It was just what I'd hoped for when booking a tour!

Normarí was our tour guide and great from the start! Good communication on meeting points, friendly, and was sure to make the most of our time together. We spend 2/3 of the time together at fortress learning about early PR history and 1/3 in the city learning about more recent culture, the churches, and shopping. She was able to answer all of our questions, gave us good pointers on things to do after she left us, and of course practical advice on transportation and hydration reminders. Would totally recommend Normani and a private tour so you can go at your own pace and focus on what interests you.

Thanks Karen,
I really enjoyed walking with you and your family. On a few hours, we managed to see most of the city, including both forts. You made me feel like a part of your family. Hope to see you again soon.

Excellent trip tailored to our specifications. Guide was able to provide insight and knowledge of Old San Juan and seemed to know everybody.

Our guide, Javier, was very personable and informative. There were only our family of 3 on this tour, and Javier was very accommodating when it came to directing us through what WE were interested in seeing...as well as sprinkling in the sights that he felt we SHOULD visit. Javier also was kind enough to pass along tips related to other sights that we didn't have time to visit during our tour, and also suggested places to dine/imbibe. Loved the tour...helped us get our bearings down for Old San Juan.

Our tour guide was a very nice man but really ruined the tour by giving too much of a history lesson. Some history is fine but this was way too much.
I even quietly and nicely mentioned to him if we had so much history that my two teens were going to kill me. He didn't change anything!

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. I’m truly sorry that your experience with our Private Tour of Old San Juan didn’t meet expectations. We take great pride in delivering exceptional service and always aim to accommodate our guests’ needs with the utmost care.
On the day of your tour, I experienced an unexpected medical emergency and was unable to guide you personally. In an effort to avoid canceling, I found a replacement at the last minute. Unfortunately, she also had a family emergency, and I made the difficult decision to proceed with a guide I hadn’t worked with before. While my intention was to avoid disappointing you with a cancellation, I now see that this choice impacted your experience.
Since then, we've made important changes to ensure this doesn’t happen again. We’ve become more selective with the professionals we collaborate with and are committed to only partnering with guides who share our high standards of service.
What truly sets us apart is our dedication to going above and beyond to meet each guest’s specific interests and preferences. Because our tours are private, we’re able to create personalized experiences that are as unique as the people who join us.
We appreciate your honesty—it helps us grow, and we hope to have the opportunity to welcome you again in the future to show you our best.
Sincerely, Javier.

Our guide, Javier, was great! Very passionate and knowledgeable about Puerto Rico and Old San Juan. Also very thoughtful and accommodating about my walking limitations, utilizing the free trolley so we could see as much as possible. He brought us through the history of Puerto Rico, and the importance Old San Juan played, to present day. And his dinner recommendation was great!

We arrived in San Juan, expecting a boring 1h-2h walk through the city just to pass the time. What we got was an energetic, exciting escapade that filled us with joy! Our guide, Javier, was the best! He was kind, patient, supremely knowledgeable and in love with his job and his culture. Javier took us ALL OVER THE CITY! We walked and he showed and told us all of the rich and important history that Puerto Rico has to offer. My entire family thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Javier has a true spirit of love and we would DEFINITELY take a tour with him again. Thanks Javier for an unforgettable experience!

Javier was a very knowledgeable and patient guide. He made sure he understood what we wanted from the tour and customized it appropriately. He let us set the pace so we were able to stay at any stop as long or as short as we wanted to. Excellent experience.
