Renoir, Van Gogh. Cezanne, Monet, Matisse and Picasso all in one place. Plan an hour to get in, even if you have tickets. You could spend 2-3 hours inside if you moderately like Impressionism. More if you read everything! There are cute cafes inside to sit and relax, and places to charge your phone if you bring a USB cord.

Le Marais Food Tour with Oscar is the best!

    Jennifer_C, May 2026
Best tour ever! Oscar took us to some amazing spots that were not cliche French tastings. Plus his knowledge of the neighborhood in general was great along with his kindness and flexibility.

    Waste of money

    Maria_W, May 2026
We were supposed to get tickets within 30 minutes, got them after more than an hour, so we were unable to ude them. Nonsense and wasted money, when I asked for refund nobody is answering.

    They didn’t send tickets!

    Louis_D, May 2026
Terrible! They never sent me the ticket. Just a bunch of useless vouchers! I tried calling and texting when I got to the museum but no answer so I had to buy 2 tickets more from the box office!!! And the person in front of me had exact same issue!!

    Response from Host, May 2026

Dear Louis, We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused during your visit. Please note that the attachment sent with the confirmation email contained the valid entry tickets for the Musée d'Orsay. Many guests successfully use the same ticket format for entry every day. Sometimes, guests mistakenly try to use the Viator booking voucher instead of the attached entry ticket, which can create confusion at the entrance. We also checked our records and the tickets issued for your booking were valid and active for the selected time slot. We are sorry to hear you were unable to reach us immediately at that moment, as our team always tries to assist guests as quickly as possible. Your feedback is important to us, and we will further review the matter internally to avoid any misunderstanding for future travelers. Kind regards, World Pass Tour France

Lovely experience when you eventually get the tickets!

    Margaret_H, May 2026
The Musee D’Orsay is superb, beautiful building and such a variety of art t view. The tour operator used by Viator was poor. Tickets not delivered when they aid they would be on 3 occasions. No response to messages direct to the tour company. Viator were very helpful but their tour company were not

    Unsatisfactory changed timetable

    Julian_G, May 2026
The entry time was changed - later by one hour - we could not do the later time - and arranged to do something else at original time - I have asked for a refund

Do not buy- invalid tickets sold

    Michelle_B, May 2026
Do not buy these tickets- we queued for over an hour to be told by Orsay staff that tickets were invalid and could not be used to access the museum. We had to requeue to then purchase tickets directly from Orsay. I would never use viator again and they are refusing a refund saying the ticket shows it was used- no one scanned it at orsay so this suggests that it was a fake ticket and invalid for purpose.

    Mindblowing

    Beautiful museum

    Ellen_K, Apr 2026
So many beautiful pieces of art! We did a self tour with audio. Loved all the details about each artist. The building is so unique as well.

    A must-see!

    Carol_K, Apr 2026
A must see! The old train station is art in itself, so if you like architecture and great art, this is the museum to visit.

    Viator difficult to enter with

    Kathryn_H, Apr 2026
Checking in with Viator tickets was a problem. We were rescued by a staff member who knew Viator, but otherwise we wouldn’t have been able to get in easily. This needs to be greatly simplified and put into English too.

    Le D’Orsay

    Shannon_G, Apr 2026
The museum is well worth visiting, you will need lots of time! There were some great shows so take in at least one. The only issue is getting in via the Viator app. I don’t know why this can’t be made simple. The employee had to dig around because what’s in the spp (even tho it says tickets for two) is a voucher. The tickets are (scroll down) some where in your email even tho the instructions are to put the voucher that says “tickets” in your wallet. Those apparently aren’t tickets. But venue was beautiful as were the paintings. Really interesting back stories. Check the women painters back stories ( if you can find them!!) Great historical value.

    Favorite museum!

    shawn_g, Apr 2026
My second time to this museum- my favorite! We saw the incredible Renoir exhibit. Big disappointment; floors 2,3,&4 closed due to renovations, so the furniture and current art were not available. But floor 5 with the impressionists still wonderful! Never miss when in Paris!

Musee D’Dorsay gets better every year!

    Susan_L, Apr 2026
There is an immense variety of impressionist work. The special Renoir exhibits -drawings and love are wonderful. Not the wealth of paintings and sculptures from others in the museum collection are also astounding! Monet, Manet, Sisley, Van Gogh, Gauguin, and others showed the growth of the movement over lifetimes of the artists. The Restaurant with the Clock Tower should also be considered and enjoyed. What a great day it was!!

    Impressionism heaven

    Viator gave us a refund...

    Patty_S, Apr 2026
Viator gave us a refund stating that access to the Musée d'Orsay was free on Sundays. HOWEVER, it's free on the first Sunday of each month but we still needed a ticket valued at $0 in order to enter. I wanted to make sure Viator is aware of this for the future. We were unable to enter as we still needed a timed ticket entry. We never saw the interior of this museum.

    Insanely Crowded Visit

    Kathleen_W, Apr 2026
The museum was massively crowded. It was a Tuesday and all the other museums were closed so we went to the d’Orsay. My suggestion is to go there on another day and not during the American spring break!! But we did get to see many amazing pieces of art that you see in books. Nothing beats seeing them in person.

    Better 20 years ago.

    Josh_K, Apr 2026
Let’s be honest, anyone coming to Paris for the first time will go here regardless of reviews. But be prepared. The place is BUSY despite prepurchase tickets that sell out. There are 5 flights of stairs to the impressionist’s gallery. And that’s hot and crowded. This was our favourite museum 20yrs ago, now we’re bot so sure. It’s still great to see the works, and in one quiet corner I found an artist I hadn’t seen before, that was nice. Maybe a tour guide would help next time, it certainly did for our louvre visit.

Confusion about when tickets are delivered

    Alison_M, Apr 2026
The information I received after booking this tour said the tickets would be delivered in 24 hours. I didn’t get them within 24 hours (I had to pay for the tour at the time of booking, with no refunds possible). I had to reach out to Viator though email and chat to find out about the tickets. Viator did get back to me via email, as they said they would, and explained the local tour operator would send the tickets via email 24 hours before the tour began. It would have been much better to have that information when booking this visit, as there was a lot of confusion about when the tickets would show up, which honestly caused me some anxiety since we’d already paid in full (we didn’t have a choice for this booking - it had to be paid in full when we booked it). It would be helpful to correct the language on the website so others would understand the tickets won’t get sent until 24 hours before the tour. As far as the museum visit went, it was, of course, fabulous.

    Great

Arrive early. Great museum , would like to have signage in English. Somewhat confusing and I never found the restaurant.

    Francyla_M, Apr 2026
I bought the tickets a week in advance, but on the day of our visit I received an email from Aviator saying they had refunded them because entry was free. When we arrived, we were told that free entry only applied to bookings made through the museum’s official website, so we were not allowed to enter. Although we received a refund, we were very frustrated to miss visiting such an amazing museum. The Orsay Museum staff also told us that selling tickets for those days is not allowed and may be illegal.

    Not great

    Patti_M, Apr 2026
Made reservations for four entry tickets for a timed entry on April 2 for April 5 and received a message on very late the evening of the 4th that since it was a free day they were not going to give us tickets. However, you cannot enter on April 5 without a timed entry free or not and it the 6th and I haven’t yet received money back.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Patti, Thank you for your feedback. We sincerely regret the inconvenience caused regarding your booking for the Musée d'Orsay. As communicated, April 5 was a designated free-entry day at the museum, during which standard paid tickets are not issued or accepted. Due to this policy set by the museum authorities, your booking could not be fulfilled, and the reservation was therefore cancelled. We would like to clarify that this decision was not made by us but is strictly based on the museum’s official policy for free-entry days. In such situations, access is managed directly by the museum, and advance paid tickets are not applicable. Regarding your refund, please note that it has already been initiated from our side. In some cases, it may take a few business days to reflect depending on your payment provider. We truly regret the late notification and understand how this impacted your plans. Your feedback is important, and we are continuously working to improve communication in such cases. Warm regards, World Pass Tour France

    No entry on Sundays

    Stephen_G, Apr 2026
They would not give us entry and they said that on Sundays Viator knew the rules. Therefore I had no access and wasted my money.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Stephen, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience at the Musée d'Orsay. However, we would like to clarify that the museum is open on Sundays, and entry is permitted with a valid ticket booked for the correct date and time slot. There are no general restrictions that prevent entry on Sundays for standard ticket holders. Access is managed strictly by the museum authorities based on the validity and timing of the ticket presented. In some cases, entry may be denied if the ticket does not match the allocated time slot, or if specific conditions set by the museum (such as capacity limits or special policies) are not met. We assure you that all tickets provided through us are valid, and we always recommend carefully following the entry instructions and time mentioned on the ticket. We regret the inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Warm regards, World Pass Tour France

Fraud! Don’t buy tickets from them.

    JuWei_L, Apr 2026
I would give it a zero star if I could. We booked the tickets in United States. Right after our reservations, they sent us an email stating that, within 24 hours of the reserved time slot we will receive our tickets. We did receive an email from Viator the day before our reserved day. The email included a bar code and looks like tickets. But when we got to the museum, presented the barcode in the email, the museum rejected our entry because whatever was sent to us was not ticket. I spent at least 30 minutes went through all the links in the email and called the phone number listed in the link. The call reached United Arab Emirates and was no response. No tickets in any of the links they sent. I paid $152 for four tickets and were refused entry at the museum d’Orsay.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear JuWei, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are truly sorry to hear about your experience at the Musée d'Orsay. However, we must respectfully clarify that all tickets issued by us are valid and sourced through authorized channels. The barcode sent via Viator is the official entry ticket used for access. In such cases, entry issues can occur if the incorrect document is presented, the ticket link is not fully opened, or if there is a misunderstanding at the entrance gate. Regarding the contact concern, our customer support is available, but we acknowledge that reaching us at that specific moment may not have been smooth, and we regret that inconvenience. We would also like to highlight that we did not receive any prior communication from you at the time of entry, which would have allowed us to immediately assist and resolve the situation in real-time. We take such matters seriously, and there is no circumstance where we would intentionally provide invalid tickets. Your case appears to be an exceptional situation, and we are happy to review it further if you can share your booking reference with us. Warm regards, World Pass Tour France

    Bad service

    Sonia_S, Apr 2026
The museum staff were incredibly rude. We got there just before 5pm and the museum had already closed and the staff refused to allow us in even for a quick walkthrough. They kept repeating that it was closed and made no attempt to listen to anything we were saying. If visiting, ensure you get there well before 5pm otherwise you will miss out.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Sonia, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience at the Musée d'Orsay. However, we would like to clarify that entry to the museum is strictly regulated by the venue itself, and all visitors must arrive within the official operating hours and before the last admission time set by the museum authorities. As per the museum policy, entry is not permitted once the museum is closed, regardless of the ticket type or booking source. Our tickets provide valid access during operating hours, but the final decision on entry always rests with the museum staff on-site. We always recommend our guests arrive at least 30–45 minutes before closing time to fully enjoy the experience and avoid such situations. We regret any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. Warm regards, World Pass Tour France

Buyer beware. You may not get what you pay for

    Bailey_a, Apr 2026
Be aware of this excursion. The app showed the only available tour was supposed to come with headphones for an audio tour. We paid extra for this. When we got inside and went to the booth with the headphones, the lady said because we paid through an outside party and we couldn't get the headphones without paying them. Sent a message to Viator and still no response. Would have been nice to know about the beautiful artwork that I paid for without paying any extra.

    Response from Host, Apr 2026

Dear Bailey, Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear about your experience at the Musée d'Orsay. However, we would like to clarify that standard admission tickets and audio guide services are managed separately by the museum. In many cases, audio guides (headphones) are distributed directly at the venue and are subject to the museum’s internal policies and availability. For bookings made through third-party platforms, the inclusion of an audio guide depends on the exact product selected. If the audio guide is not explicitly included in the ticket type, it may require an additional payment at the museum counter. We always recommend carefully reviewing the inclusions mentioned in the booking details, as access to audio guides is strictly controlled by the venue staff and not by the ticket provider. We regret any confusion caused and appreciate your understanding. Warm regards, World Pass Tour France

    Fabulous museum, a lot of...

    Ida_S, Apr 2026
Fabulous museum, a lot of very well known pieces. Would recommend anyone to come here. Spent a few hours and really enjoyed.

No brainer when you can’t get tickets directly

    Kevin_S, Mar 2026
Easy purchase, easy entrance. We booked last minute and the museum was sold out, but Viator was not! Real deal!

    Very disappointed with Viator

    Junpei_Y, Mar 2026
The Musee d’Orsay was wonderful. But I am very disappointed by my poor experience with Viator to purchase these tickets. When I purchased my tickets for Musee d’Orsay, Viator website said I would receive tickets in 10 minutes. I purchased tickets at 12:05 pm. I arrived at Musee d’Orsay at 12:30 pm. But I did not receive tickets yet from Viator. So after waiting for 25 minutes with no tickets from Viator, I ended up purchasing tickets directly at the Musee d’Orsay. After we were already inside the Museum, then I received tickets from Viator vendor (World Pass Tour) at 12:52 pm on What’s App. It was too late and I already purchased tickets from Musee d’Orsay. This was very disappointing. Please refund my purchase price immediately.

    Not happy

    Robert_A, Mar 2026
Awful. Viator tickets are not accepted on the 1st Sunday of every month because they offer free entry but you need to apply for a ticket directly from the museum and they were sold out.
