Beautiful experience to see the city. Amazing amounts of history. The eternal flame and Tomb of the Unknown Soldier is stunning and moving.

The tour provider did not send the tickets and only sent the invoice code. We could not access the Arc de Triomphe without the tickets. After a frustrating hour on the opine with Viator, we finally got our tickets. This was also embarrassing as we had also bought tickets for friends travelling with us. We incurred phone charges trying to sort this out.
We will be seeking a refund from Viator for this extremely poor service.

They closed the Arc at 1:45pm our tickets were for 8:10pm we were never notified, showed up to a sign on the door. Would like my money back.

Because of the heat, the arc de Triomphe was closed early, I am not sure how to get a refund for this experience

This ticket did not work, not from the email, not the download, not with help with the ticket desk. It took three times to get through, and only with a personal escort from the manager, waiving the non-working barcodes.
This experience was SO stressful and confusing. Don’t book with this service!

We chose this tour because by the time we tried to book tickets, they were sold out and this was the only way we could get onto the Arch at the time we had available. We did not have a private guide. I was glad we did it and the views were exceptional (But obviously would have been more cost effective to book tickets in advance directly from the Arch website if we had known our timing better). A friend told us this was a better view than the Eiffel Tower because you could actually see the Eiffel Tower vs when you are at the tower you can't see it. The day was hot and I was concerned the lines would be dreadful but they moved quickly. I was prepared for the stairs by reading other reviews but was a little concerned because I have a bad hip. However, I wore good shoes and made it to the top without issue. There is only one bathroom when you are almost to the top and that line took a few minutes but not too bad. We didn't take the boat cruise because it didn't work without schedule and had another dinner cruise schedule for the tour but I highly recommend doing at least one boat tour on your visit. Great way to see so many iconic sights.

There was no optional guide. All we got was a link to a history of the arc. It was nice to be there, but don't expect much from this particular booking.

It was great to see and learn the history. Purchasing tickets and then being told we couldn’t get in and having to scramble to somehow find out how to get the QR code was very frustrating.

On your own obviously since there is no guide. We didn’t have to wait but a couple of minutes and that was only for security. . Beautiful views

to cross the street you must go underground---that should be part of the directions as we didn't know about that and had quite a time getting across 6 lanes of circular traffic going about 100 mph.... the view from the top is beautiful. We needed an elevator as one of our group had walking difficulties and he was accommodated nicely with the lift. A nice trip.

Although other travelers stated the stairs were extremely hard to climb, we found we got to the top easily. There are spots where you can rest along the way. Once on the top the view was spectacular! You could see all of Paris. I highly recommend this!

This is a “must do” in Paris. Definitely worth the almost 300 steps to the top, it really puts the city in perspective. Also has one of the best gift shops in all of our Paris tours! If you go around 6:00pm, they host a daily ceremony for the loss of the unknown soldier. It was really moving.

This self guided tour was perfect! No waiting in line as we had our tickets in hand. We took the elevator as far as it went (they were very accommodating for everyone that had physical limitations) and then we were able to walk the 46 steps to the roof. There are lots of single steps on the roof, similar to curbs, so watch your step. There is a 2 foot ledge around the entire roof with a heavy duty spiked fence, so no worries! The views were wonderful. Took a time-lapse video of the trafic circling the arch and was glad not to be driving a car!

An incredible attraction with wonderful views of Paris that is easily accessible. The stair climb could be difficult for people with limited physical mobility or people not in sound cardiovascular condition.

This is a memorial for unknown soldiers. It should be treated with respect. Views from the terrace are amazing!

There were long lines. I had a difficult time getting my tickets from viator. Which added to pure frustration and having to wait. furthermore, I wish I was warned about the stairs. I had absolutely no clue that I had to climb up so many stairs. Esp because I have a bad knee.

The "tickets" did not work as others expressed in the reiews. I did not receive the tickets and only had a voucher to show the attendant. Luckily, she let us in as she sees this issue ALL the time! Viator...what is going on? Your other tours/tickets are amazing!!!????

Arrived at our ticketed time stood in line only to find out the lift was broken.
Due to mobility issues we were unable to climb the 284 steps up a spiral staircase. Tour operator would not refund due to “cancellation” policy, even though we did not cancel. Staying on the ground level is free!

The stairs are definitely for able-bodied people only- probably the equivalent of 10 flights - on a narrowish circular staircase… but the views from the top deck are fantastic and worth it! Booking a slot is definitely the way to go, and be sure to leave enough time to cross under the traffic from the top of Champs Élysées. It is a great activity w kids - I had a teen and a tween who loved it!
