Meet your group at a central Paris location, then set out toward the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Mont-St-Michel. Relax on board and enjoy picture-perfect views of the Normandy coast en route to the rocky island.
Follow your guide up the narrow paths of the tiny village toward the top for panoramic views of the Atlantic Ocean and surrounding bay.
Continue in the footsteps of medieval pilgrims, as your guide reveals some of the fascinating history of Mont-St-Michel, the extreme tides that shape its coast, and its famous Benedictine Abbey. Then, enjoy free time to explore the island’s shops, museums, and inspiring nature at your leisure.

- Coach journey from Paris to Mont-Michel is approx. 4-5 hours each way. The arrival back to Paris is planned around 9.30PM.
- Time spent at Mont St-Michel is approx. 4 hours
- This tour involves quite a lot of walking with steps and uphill paths so is not suitable for those with mobility difficulties
- The tour takes place all year round, so dress for the weather, including appropriate shoes!
- On September 19 and 20, the Mont Saint Michel Abbey will take part in the European Heritage Days. During these two days, admission to the Abbey will be free of charge and visits will be self-guided.

Mont Saint Michel is breath taking! Such a wonder and beauty. It was even better to see in person. It was a bucket list dream for me which did not disappoint. It is worth the long trip in the bus.
Amelia is a wonderful guide. She is so full of knowledge and is very engaging. I learnt so much about the history of Normandy and Mont Saint Michel from her. The guided tour is a must! It is so worth it. Amelia walks you through every part of Mont Saint Michel and explains all the different rooms and the history which I found so helpful. Amelia makes the day run seamlessly.

Our guide was very good actually and very helpful but the 2 star rating is for the bus. For a 4 hour long trip and decide not to open the restroom for the passengers is not acceptable! Even though the bus stops midway, people may still need to use the bathroom especially the elderly and people with conditions. And upon returning to Paris, the airconditioning broke down. The upper deck of the bus was so hot we were almost suffocating due to the heat.

It is nearly 5 hours going and 4 1/2 hours returning to Paris and only 3 hours on the Mont. But oh so worth the trip. The Abbey is amazing, I would have even gotten up a 1/2 hour earlier to get an extra 1/2 hour there.

Alex was an incredible host - switching seamlessly between French, Spanish, and English for the group - it was quite impressive!
Loved the guided tour of the island - it was well done and the time allocated was great. The trip then also allowed a fair amount of time to explore on your own - have a meal, do some shopping, or just take in the sites of this medieval gem.
You should be in good health and shape to do the full tour as lots of climbing inclines and stairs to the top, but well worth it if you’re able!
It is a long trip from Paris and the bus quarters are really tight - hardly any leg room and you get to know your neighbors well. If anything could be improved - that was it. Four hours each way of not having much space to move was tough.

Great guided tour to a stunning landmark! We were in Paris for 6 days and decided to use one to take a day trip. So glad we picked this one. The trip there is on the longish side for a day trip (4-4.5 hours each way) but our guide kept us informed at several points throughout the drive by teaching us about the history and traditions of the area. Definitely recommend!

I realize the conditions make this experience challenging - namely the long drive and the short time on the island. For those who cannot see msm any other way because of logistics, but are interested, I would definitely recommend this trip but make sure to go with the guided option unless you are familiar with what you are looking for in the abbey. For me it was the guide’s stories that let me enjoy my time there, needing only an hour to cover it all. She was very knowledgeable about the subject. The only suggestion I have for the operators is when getting off the shuttle I lost the guide briefly in the crowds not knowing if I should wait or rush forward, so anything that could be done to make sure people can find the guide after the shuttle would be great

St Michel is an amazing place and our guide did a wonderful job. I recommend this tour with the caveat that you should be prepared for a long bus ride. If traffic is good, it’s 4 hours each way with a bathroom break in the middle. (Bring a book). Our home trip lasted 5 hours because a stretch of the highway was closed. It’s not a trip I would do again, but we’re glad we did it once.

Long drive to the destination with limited time while there. Mont st Michel is stunning. The guide could have been clearer in her diction, it was challenging to comprehend at times. However, she addressed all our questions patiently.

It was a fabulous experience however I paid for a guided tour and the audio boxes did not work so I wasn’t able to get as much backstory as I had hoped.

It’s a very long drive from Paris but oh so worth it! Be prepared for the 250!steps up to the Abbey but it is an amazing experience.

Excellent tour guide although the upper bus ceiling was way too low and the seats a little cramped. Meeting place was up the road from the designated spot and no-one came to advise or check if anyone was there! Would have loved an extra ½ hour on the island, and an extra 5-10 mins at the roads stops, but then it becomes a 15 hour day. Still would have gone. Otherwise an excellent experience, and very worth while.

The location is spectacular, and one of a kind. The shops were friendly and the restaurants accommodating. Be aware of the long ride from Paris, but the destination is worth the ride.

Claire the guide was excellent. Make no mistake, it is a long day with a 4hr bus trip both there and back from Paris. But we felt it was well worth it. After visiting the abbey, there is plenty of time to eat/shop/walk around before catching the shuttle back to the bus.

The bus trip there and back was smooth and comfortable even though the weather was cold and rainy. We stopped about halfway there for bathroom breaks and refreshments. Our tour guide, Florence, prepared us for each phase of the tour. As expected, the trek to the Abbey involved many steps and there are no lifts available.
However, once reaching the top level, it was truly worth the climb. Florence was an amazing guide. I don’t think we could have fully appreciated the whole experience without her interesting and informative commentary. We are so glad we took the journey from Paris to Mont Saint Michel!

It was an excellent tour ! We loved it. The only drawback was that the guide had to repeat everything twice. Once in English and second in Spanish. It made for a too slow of a visit. But Wow thus place is so unique and well worth going!
