Not much open to see. Would've loved to see more rooms in the home of the artist. The art was beautiful.

I am sorry to read you did not find your experience as fully engaging as we wish to deliver. Yes, this historic 1858 residence is small, but we like to think of it as jewel like. Rather than being a period room house as the artist lived here (few household objects remained when the residence was saved from demolition in the late 1960s), we seek to offer visitors a unique glimpse into Hopper's early life and influences in Nyack. I am glad you enjoyed the art showcased of Hopper's early works and the current exhibition of contemporary art inspired by his legacy. We look forward to you coming back through Nyack to visit again.
