Wow - my first experience in a hot air balloon was a sunrise tour overlooking the Atlas Mountains! What a magnificent way to spend the morning, well worth waking up at 3:30am to get ready for. Upon arrival we had coffee/tea/juice with some pastries with many many other poeple. I remember looking up at the dark sky and seeing stars glimmer. They also had some fire pits for those who were cold. Then each shuttle went to their balloon and it was really neat to see them inflate the balloons. They strategically (weight) placed us in the basket and since I was solo I got lucky and had one of the edges. Then we floated to the sky and got to experience sunrise. I loved seeing the other balloons float below me and also when all the balloons were in the sky together - what a view! Felt surreal. Thankfully, I’m not scared of heights but I was def afraid of dropping my phone or hat. Thankfully, no one had any accidents. Landing was also a treat seeing the cargo truck follow our balloon and strapping us down for landing. Our pilot, Angel (what a perfect name for our excursion to the clouds), made me feel safe and also gave us a fun seamless ride. After the trip we went back to ‘camp’ where we had breakfast with mint tea and a variety of breads. They also had clean bathrooms you can use before or after trip. Overall, this was one of the highlights of my trip! Highly recommend.

The event was well managed. Starting from pick up to drop the staff were attentive. All the activities, crews and staff were friendly throughout. Time was respected. Ballon activity was fun, pilot was informative as well.

A fabulous experience with some amazing photos. Dont forget camera or mobile! You need a decent shoe when alighting as it is very rough terrain. Many had flip flops on and found it difficult.

Cannot fault from start to finish.
I mean from arranged transfer til drop off. It exceeded our expectations. On arrival coffee & croissant then back to bus & took to your hot air balloon. Your up for Approx 40 mins. The pilot explained how it worked. The views were incredible. The landing was so smooth and we all got a certificate & a worker gladly took some photos. Then back for full breakfast feast, which was lovely before heading back. Our female driver did a great job too. Would highly recommend this trip. Well worth it & the early morning rise !!

We were picked up at 6 am and arrived at the site at 6.30 am, 30 minutes before sunrise. We were offered a croissant, coffee or tea, and juice. Unfortunately, we had to wait nearly an hour to get into the hot-air balloons, so we missed the sunrise.

It was a good trip but a lot of time waiting around and we only got 23 minutes on the Hot Air Balloon which our family of 4 were disappointed with. It was very expensive for what we got.

We booked the guaranteed first flight option and was so pleased with the sunrise from the balloon. All the staff were very very welcoming. It was well organised pickup was on time and communicated well beforehand.

We absolutely loved our hot air balloon ride in Marrakesh! The entire experience was incredible, including the delicious breakfast afterward. Even though it was a very early morning start, the driver who picked us up was incredibly nice, and our balloon captain was absolutely lovely. This tour is highly recommended!

AMAZING is the only word I can use to describe this experience! The hot air balloon ride was absolutely incredible from start to finish.
Our balloon pilot was an amazing woman who navigated that balloon like a boss. She made us feel completely safe and confident throughout the flight.
We were picked up just down the street from our riad. Since we had a group of 10, we filled most of the shuttle van. The drive from Marrakech was only about 30 minutes, making for an easy early-morning trip.
We arrived around 5:30 a.m., just before sunrise, and were welcomed with a light breakfast while we waited to board. Once it was time, we were taken to the launch site, where the balloon had just returned with an earlier group. The basket was divided into four compartments, with five passengers in each section, so everyone had plenty of space and great views.
Takeoff was an adventure in itself! The pilot instructed us to hold onto the side rails and squat down as the balloon lifted off. Once we were in the air, the flight was incredibly smooth, peaceful, and absolutely breathtaking. Watching the sunrise over the Moroccan landscape was unforgettable.
The landing was just as easy. We once again squatted as instructed, and it was a surprisingly gentle and smooth touchdown.
After the flight, we returned for a delicious traditional Moroccan breakfast, which was the perfect ending to an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this tour; it was one of the highlights of our trip to Marrakech.
Caution: where close-toe shoes. The ground on the walk from the van to the balloon is filled with dried prickly thorn-like plants

SCAM….False Advertisement. Pick up is no where close to the posted time. Communication is lacking…they have your money so couldn’t care less how they communicate. Spent $550 for 8 people, kids were very excited but all they got was disappointment . Never confirmed pick up time. Just figured we would get their messages after I asked the tour directly to make sure I confirm their messages.
FYI- all these Viator tours can be booked the day before by your local Riad or hotel for much less money and they will actually communicate.
Complete scam and refuse to give refund.

However, we would like to clarify the facts. Both we and Viator can confirm that your pick-up details were sent to the WhatsApp number provided with your booking the day before the activity, well in advance. We also attempted to contact you by phone on the morning of the excursion while our driver was waiting at the designated pick-up location.
Unfortunately, you did not show up and did not join the tour, the booking was therefore recorded as a no-show. In accordance with the booking conditions, refunds cannot be issued in no-show cases.
The voucher clearly states that the exact pick-up time is confirmed one day before the activity and may vary depending on operational and weather conditions. We fulfilled all of our obligations by sending the required information and attempting to reach you before departure.
Our team remains committed to providing clear communication and a high-quality service to all of our guests, and we continuously work to ensure every excursion runs as smoothly as possible.

Fantastic experience. Pick up on time and overall great morning had. Watched sun come up from a very safe balloon ride. Only disappointment was bfast afterwards but I didn’t go ballooning for that.

Noor our captain was amazing. We went for the first slot to catch the sunrise and it was worth it. There was a bit of waiting for our driver to pick us up, but post that everything was well organised and the experience itself, being up there in the 🎈 balloon was pretty spectacular and would highly recommend.

When you arrive at the venue, there will be juice, coffee and tea available before the hot airballon and the actual breakfast. It was approx 30min in the air and was very beautiful! Highly recommended.

Best experience in Morrocco. One thing I would recommend over everything else. Thank you team Marrakech. Breakfast was pretty boring just bread on the side of bread ! And boiled egg and olive oil. But other then that it was great. I didn't know they charge for the drone photos. But it was great quality but the price was little expensive, asked 200 Dirham from us.

My husband and I really enjoyed the beautiful views on this tour. We were lucky with perfect weather (reminder to bring layers though, some other people were very cold). The bus picked us up from our riad exactly on time and were friendly and professional. Having been on a similar experience in Turkey, I was pleasantly surprised by how incredible the breakfast experience was. There were so many unique things to eat in a beautiful tarped area covered with Moroccan rugs and decor. I would recommend this experience to a friend! (I would also recommend being careful that your pants don't lightly brush the castus plant, releasing dozens of micro-spikes onto your leg...lol)

Hot air balloons yes. This company, no!
The driver was late. Sun rise was 6:30am (ish)? We got picked up at 6:40am and didn’t get in the balloon until 8:45am/9am.
The pit stop for coffee before getting in the balloon was annoying.
Very disorganised. We were driving up and down the roads for so long as no one knew where our balloon was.
Our balloon wasn’t even ready. Every other balloon had landed before we got in the air and by then the sun was well and truly up.
I gave this 3 stars as we actually got a balloon ride but would give it 2 stars. At 1 point they were talking about changing to a later time of day.
The Berber breakfast afterwards was OK but the staff there were excellent and entertaining

Great morning, great communication from Youssef prior to the trip so we knew exactly what was going on. Stopped off for a pastry and juice prior to flight. Flight was anmazing - such a great experience. our balloon pilot Yanis to was fantastic. Following our flight we were taken for breakfast again this was brilliant and great location

Myself & my daughter booked this trip while we were staying in Marrakesh. We were told our pick up time at 6pm the night before. Although I’d booked the sunrise flight (flight 6:30) we weren’t picked up until 6am. It took us about 30-40 mins to arrive. It’s a VERY bumpy journey but our driver was careful. We were taken for coffee & croissants first (time was 7am) then waited around for 45 mins. We were then driven to the balloon. We waited around for another 15 minutes for the balloon to land. Once we got into the balloon (wear trousers or shorts because there’s no way of getting into the balloon lady like) our pilot Lena was lovely and made us feel safe & welcome. We took off at about 8.20am so definitely not sunrise! The flight was lovely & Lena explained a bit about the area etc. Landing was a bit rough but you’re told to sit down & brace yourself. We were then taken to a tent & given breakfast which was nice but we were all sat on top of each other. After about 45 mins we were driven back to our accommodation. All in all it was a nice trip but please be aware that when you think you’re booking a 6:30am flight (to see sunrise) you’re not and by the time you’re told your pick up time it’s too late to cancel without loosing your money. Also, it’s a 5 hour trip when you’re only in the air for 30-40mins so if you don’t mind waiting around then this trips for you.

Not recommended at all!! While the actual experience of being air , taking off and landing was amazing and very smooth, the provider was not very communicative. One man what’s app messaged me asking me if I can meet at the base while another message asked me to give the road where I was staying so they can pick up closer. When I had initially tried to use our riad for pick up the app said it was not available. This was very confusing until they confirmed they will pick closer to our riad. Then the driver was 20
Minutes late to pick up plus we waited 15 minutes to pick up someone else who didn’t show. Then after we arrived at what seemed like the airfield, where there were refreshments served, no one including the driver knew where we had to head to actually get in the hot air balloon. One of the gentleman who was also with us in our car as a tourist had to run around and figure it out. They claimed it was to be sunrise hot air balloon but the sun was already up, us completely missing the whole point of doing this at sunrise ! Then the breakfast - it was subpar at best and so I wouldn’t recommend this provider at all!
