We had an amazing experience in the Agafay Desert! Everything was very well organized from the pickup in Marrakech to the return at night. The camel ride at sunset was peaceful and beautiful, and the views were incredible.
The dinner was delicious and the atmosphere was magical with Berber music and the fire show under the stars. It felt authentic and special.
Tarex and his team were professional, friendly, and very attentive. Communication was clear and everything happened on time.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Marrakech. It was one of the highlights of our trip!

The guys who took us there were awesome. Tareq especially who looked after everyone for the whole evening. Nothing was ever enough. The stops were spaced out and suffient onroute to the destination. The food was lovely and plentiful. The entertainment was great arbiet the drummers were a tad loud, lol. The scenery is lovely and my wife and I had a great night. I have removed one star purely for the shock of expecting a full Moroccan experience and then the place lit up like las Vegas and party music started playing. If you look across the desert I assume they all do this as it was like seeing isolated party hubs everywhere. We we expecting to sit under the stars away from the city lights.

We had a good evening doing the camel ride, having dinner and watching the fire show. We were last to do the camel ride for the evening because there were many groups ahead of us. Staff made sure we were comfortable and we were surprised on how long the came ride was. The dinner was okay but I wish we had more light to see my food. Light show was great. Overall we had a great time!

This was our experience, and overall we felt it was geared more toward tourists than providing an authentic cultural experience. The women's co-op visit seemed focused primarily on selling products rather than explaining the culture and process of producing argan oil. This was the second co-op we visited, and compared with the first, we learned much less about the production process.
The camel ride was enjoyable, although there was quite a bit of waiting and sitting around. Dinner was somewhat limited; for the two of us, we were served one chicken leg and one chicken thigh. The evening entertainment featured modern disco music and a dance floor, which was not what we expected. There was one male fire dancer who was excellent and definitely the highlight of the evening.
We spent approximately 5½ to 6 hours on the excursion. While there were some enjoyable moments, we would likely choose a more authentic experience on a future trip.
Our guide was very attentive throughout the tour, and we appreciated his efforts.

We’ve had an amazing excursion. Tareq was absolutely fabulous, made sure we were taken care of, he spoke very good English and was just very pleasant to deal with. The excursion itself was well organised, we had a stop in a village where they make Moroccan argan oil, that was interesting to see, then some of the tour opted to ride a camel, we had a break for tea and took lovely pictures. The dinner itself was fantastic, great view, cool fire show. We also saw a lovely romantic sunset. One point is that the desert is quite windy and cold so best to take a hoodie or a blanket with you. 100% recommend

Tareq was so helpful throughout the entire experience. Before I even made it to the excursion I was lost and he pretty much rescued me lol. The food was fresh and hot and the views were unmatched. He took amazing pictures while we went camel riding and he always checked on the guest throughout the tour. Don’t think about it, just do it!!

Please do yourself a favour and GO on this tour! The sunset dinner alone was worth far more than the money. Witnessing the sky change colour over the desert while eating a traditional Moroccan meal and hearing live drums play in the background is a truly unique experience that you need in your life. Also, if you have Tareq as your guide, you’ll be well taken care of from start to finish!
The only thing I didn’t like was that they offer the camel ride. The poor babies are tied up in a line one behind the other, and then tied into the ground so they are forced to just sit in the hot sun all day with nowhere to go. It’s cruel in my opinion, but I suppose it’s good that you can opt out of the camel ride with this tour.

We booked the desert dinner show excursion in the morning and were contacted by our guide Tareq a couple of hours later by WhatsApp. We were promptly picked up from our hotel along with some other travellers and taken via minibus to our first stop. We sampled some traditional Moroccan tea and were shown how Argan oil is made, with the option to purchase some souvenirs. The second stop took us into the desert where there was the option to ride on a camel, sample more tea and traditional biscuits, with
plenty of time for photo opportunities. At the third and final stop we were taken to a beautiful desert setting and had our meal (this was wonderful and of excellent quality. Tareq even brought us out seconds!) There was entertainment, dancing and a fire show to end the night. Tareq was a brilliant guide and very informative. The whole experience from start to finish was well organised and of amazing value for money. I would 100% recommend it to anyone travelling to Marrakesh.

Tareq is a charming host and guide.
He was informative and amusing.
He managed to get extra tagines and couscous for teenagers who can eat like horses.
Camel ride was good, scenery spectacular and so quiet after RAK.
Food and setting very good.
Our driver Murad was excellent.he knows the city well and his driving skills were excellent.
All in all a very enjoyable trip.

We chose this activity for our last night in Morocco, and we are very happy with our choice.
We had a great time. The guide (Tareq) was super friendly, it was a fab spot for the sunset, the music was good, the fire show was good. There was plenty of food and it was lovely, and our kids who are somewhat fussy enjoyed it too.
A really nice way to spend an evening, and a great change of pace (and scenery).

Tareq and our driver, provided exceptional service and made the evening one of the absolute highlights of our trip. I went solo and mae friends with another solo traveler in the group everyone was so fun. Everything was incredibly well-organized, punctual, and engaging from start to finish. The quad bike ride was so much fun — the scenery was stunning, and the length of the ride was perfect. The camel experience was also wonderful, and it was clear the camels were very well cared for.
The cuisine was delicious, and the entire evening offered such a rich and authentic taste of Moroccan culture. Everyone we met was so welcoming, warm, and full of great energy, which made the experience even more special. We would absolutely do it again!

Such a fun experience! Tareq was so kind to my family and worked hard to make sure everyone was having fun. He arrived on time at the meeting place and made sure we were first in line when it came time for the camels. He also gave us a heads up when they were doing the fire show so we could get a good seat. He brought us lots of mint tea, and had a positive vibe and happy attitude. He was also very good at learning names. The van was a little warm in the back, but not unbearable. It was clean and the driver was great. The camel ride was fun and the dinner was good. Where we ate dinner was beautiful and the music made things fun. Everyone was working hard to make sure the customers had a great time. We loved it!

Our family camel ride experience was genuinely unforgettable, and what made it even more special was the thoughtful surprise arranged for a birthday celebration.
From the start, the team was welcoming and well-organized, making sure everyone felt comfortable—especially the kids, who were both excited and a little nervous at first. The camels were calm and well cared for, and the guides were patient, friendly, and happy to answer questions along the way. Riding through the landscape together as a family was such a unique and peaceful experience.
The real highlight, though, was the surprise birthday cake that had been arranged without us having to worry about a thing. It was such a kind and personal touch that turned a fun activity into a truly memorable celebration. Seeing the birthday person’s reaction made it all worthwhile—it was unexpected and beautifully done.

Great afternoon and evening in the desert with a peaceful camel stroll. Especially liked that the camels looked well taken care of. We also visited teen aged camels and a nursing baby with its mom!
But first they picked us up as scheduled in the city. Drove to the Argan women’s co-op for mint tea and a mini tour and shopping. Nice things but clearly higher priced than markets. (But revenues hopefully goes to the workers in the co-op?) After that we drove to the camel camp where we had photo opportunities before the camel ride. The last stop was at the dinner place. Nice set up with small tables at different levels on the slopes looking over the desert and city lights in the background. We got there just before sunset and were able to get great lighting for our sun set photos of the area before enjoying a good meal, with soup, nice bread, tender chicken and vegetables. Water provided and extra drinks could be purchased. Live traditional Berber music, nice staff and good service and we had an excellent fire show in the end. Quite the artist. Thanks to our guide Tareq for a nice and eventful evening!

Tareq really looked after us on this trip. He messaged well beforehand to confirm the pick up, dietary requirements, some tips on clothing and messaged again 10mins ahead of the taxi arriving. He made sure we had water. He gave additional info on camels and Morocco. There was a bit of a wait before the camel ride, but Tareq found a space inside a tent while we waited for a brief windy period to pass over.
The food in the evening was delicious and my vegetarian children had enough to eat. We weren’t expecting the euro-pop disco at the evening show but was a fun memory and was only a 20min interlude between the Moroccan music and the fire show finale

This experience was amazing. The transportation was clean, comfortable, and temperature-controlled. The camel ride was 20 minutes or so, and I could have devoted more time to that experience. Dinner had a lot of entertainment which was a nice surprise, and the fire show was a great way to end the evening. Tareq was very knowledgeable and patient and had a good sense of humor. All in all it was a 6 hour experience (including pickup and drop off from the Medina).
