It was an overall great time. The pickup was easy and the driver was safe. We stopped at a Women’s Argan oil Co-Op which was lovely. Camel ride was short but cool, and the quad ride was super fun. Dinner was yummy and the shows were super fun. Our guide for the day Nouhaila was fantastic and very helpful. Would definitely recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience from the fun camel ride to the crazy buggy ride. The food later was really good, delicious and hot! Amazing sunset and there was traditional music, modern music and a fire show to end a fantastic day. Take warmer clothes for later as it cools down quite a bit once the sun goes down.

Our tour guide Yassin Idar was fantastic. Felt very safe with him and knew we were in good hands, especially being nervous about the quad bike (I was with my 14 year old son and I let him drive). Yassin made us feel really comfortable and kept checking we were ok. He was there to help us on the camels too. The trip itself was great. We stopped off at a little place where they made argan oil and had some mint tea and a chance to check out how argan oil is made and I bought some orange blossom argan oil - mainly for the smell to remind us of Morocco! Then we ventured into the desert, did a pretty fast quad bike ride and rode the camels in the sunset. There were also chances to stop and rest in between activities at the main base - a pool with a bar in the middle of the desert which was pretty cool. Just wished we'd have brought our swimming costumes for a dip to get the desert dust off! We both wore white which wasnt the best idea? So.... tip from me is to take swimming costumes and don't wear your nice clothes! The food was really tasty - lentil soup, chicken tagine and couscous, home made bread, cake and mint tea. A good amount of it and I think they do pretty well considering it's the main place where all the tour groups meet so there were maybe 200 people there. The sunset and then evening entertainment was so much fun. After traditional Berber music and flame throwing we had a mini rave. Everyone got into it, jumping up and down and dancing. It was one of those rare and beautiful moments you don't often get in life - dancing like crazy in the desert in the sunset. Such an amazing trip. A bucket list kind of thing that we'll remember forever! We kind of felt like we were in a star wars film all day too! Thank you Yassin. I loved you being our guide and chatting to you about growing up in the atlas mountains. Book this trip - you won't regret it. Wear a lot of sun screen and take lots of water. Now I'm back in rainy England I'll be dreaming of being back there in that heat!

Best money we spent so far in Morocco

Ariel_D, May 2026
We were picked up by Abde llatif outside our riad and brought to the desert. The ATV ride was an absolute blast! The camels had babies so that was an amazing surprise. Abde llatif set us up with a front row table to the entertainment section and made sure we were happy every step of the way. We had a beautiful night and would do again

Incredible value for money. 💰

Vasileios_B, May 2026
European level service. The van modern, clean with air conditioning , the camel ride is just as much as it should (longer rides wouldn’t be comfortable but long enough for a quick video and a few pictures. The quad bike tour was better than expected, the scenery also beautiful, though I wouldn’t say it was a proper desert 🏜️. Above all I would like to thank our tour guide Abde who made sure the whole experience was frictionless 👌🏼 a true professional!

Worth the Money

Randall_A, May 2026
It was a nice experience. Note the reservation for 2 people only allows 1 ATV in the experience. It was worth the experience for transportation, atv and camel ride. Please also check the weather if you do the afternoon excursion; it got cold and recommend you bring a sweater or jacket.

We had a fantastic experience with Rabiaa as our guide in the Agafay Desert. The itinerary was perfectly planned, the scenery was breathtaking, and Rabiaa guided us (3 women) safely and warmly. We are deeply grateful for her expertise, kindness, and patience she made every moment unforgettable. A huge thank you to Rabiaa for an extraordinary desert adventure.

Magical afternoon/night in the desert, I had lots of fun, I will definitely recommend this activity. Also Nezha, our guide, was very friendly and helpful throughout the whole experience.

Tayler_M, May 2026
We was sceptical about this as we have done this sort of experience many times in places like Egypt and Tunisia. I have to be honest this was the best one in terms of calmness. It didn’t feel chaotic like it did in other countries. The tour guide spoke fantastic English and we was not hassled for tips or money for anything. You do stop at a little village type thing that you are shown how to make argon oil but they ask once if you want to buy it and that’s it. The food was okay but I am not fan of Moroccan food but it was chicken and potatoes. The quads was fun. Tour guide kind. About 1 hour drive from Marrakech. The show was pretty rubbish but a good atmosphere. Only down for me which lost a star is the treatment of the camels. I’ve been to these kind of countries before and the treatment isn’t great but here is the worse I’ve ever seen. All camels tied very closely together like the human centipede, very hard to watch and me and my partner declined the camel ride as I will not support that. However, overall a great experience for adults and children. And most of all defo worth the money ! Enjoy :)

Do not support the cammelride in the Agafay dessert

Charlotte_M, Apr 2026
Transport from Marrakech in an old bus. Stop at a cooperative with the impression that is was only with one purpose to have us buy things. Concerning the cammelride - don´t do it. Do not support how they treat the animals. They are tied together too tightly, not nice to watch. The ATV trip was great and so was the ATV guide. But all in all - we do not recommend the this trip. Not very well organised, not much information and animal welfare is not something they think about

What a great day out!...

What a great day out! Camel and quad bikes were so much fun! Finished with dinner and a fire show! Thank you to our guide Mariam for being so accommodating for birthday special requests and great communication on what to expect

Poonam_A, Apr 2026
It was a nice day out but didn't think it was worth the money. I asked for us to be picked up when making the booking but then was told I had to make my way there. So I had to spend money on a taxi. Was expecting a dessert but the actual place didn't look like a desert. The actual surroundings was lovely though but looked more like a valley. Food was disappointing. 1 tagine pot between 3 people wasnt enough. Bit of a disappointment for us overall.

Bestest Evening at Aagfay👏👏👏

It was lovely experience and Aznag made this experience more comfortable with his constant care and support

Great experience

Deni, Apr 2026
Great value for money. Khadija Ihab our tour guide was excellent, she kept us well informed and together as a group in a crowded experience. The visit to the women’s co-op was great, the camel ride was short but enjoyable, the ATV was great if not a bit scary as a newcomer. The dinner was tasty and the fire show good. Overall a well organised and highly enjoyable experience. Thank you Khadija Ihab for taking such good care of us all.

The day was great from the time I was picked up to Drop off the Quad bikes were a lot of fun the Camel ride was a little disappointing we went around in a circle and that was that. The food was surprisingly very good. The show after was good as well. The young man that was in charge of the group Hassan was very good.

The tour was nice but the argan oil company was unprofessional. The camel ride and quad tour was a nice adventure.

Desert experience

Chris_H, Apr 2026
Well organised minibus of people. Lots of other busses there but well organised and only small amounts of waiting around for the activities. Started with a visit to an argan oil coop. Then quad bikes and camel ride. The dinner was delicious traditional food and the first show was worth the wait till dusk

Great tour love it

Truc_P, Apr 2026
Great tour and the people are very nice , love it, will do it again if I come back here . The ride was beautiful at sunset

Riding camels in the desert

Gill_D, Apr 2026
This was a great way to experience the landscape outside of Marakesh. Our driver was friendly and ensured a good service when we reached the camp. The camel riding and quad biking was good fun and well organised.

Don’t do it.

RavenA_J, Apr 2026
As someone who travels frequently and works in the service industry, this was one of the most disappointing excursions I’ve experienced. My partner and I booked and paid for two experiences expecting a well-organized, private visit to the Agafay Desert with the activities advertised. What we received fell far below that standard. Our guide arrived late, and the day began with an unadvertised stop at a women’s collective. This might have been fine if it had been disclosed upfront, but instead we spent 35–45 minutes there sitting through what ultimately became a sales pitch. Upon arriving in Agafay, it became immediately clear that this was not a private experience as advertised. There were 10–15 other tour groups operating at the same time, creating a crowded, chaotic, and disorganized environment. Despite the languages listed in the booking, our guide, Soumia, did not speak English, making communication difficult and limiting our ability to fully participate. The activities themselves were poorly managed. The camels appeared neglected, which was uncomfortable to witness. Although there were enough quad bikes for individual riders, we were the only group required to share. Safety instructions were not explained, yet we were reprimanded and singled out during the ride for not staying in line. To make matters worse, we were promised two dinners but only received one. Despite paying for two tickets, we were given a shared experience, while other participants received full or double portions depending on their group size. This inconsistency is both unfair and misleading, especially given that everyone paid the same price. Overall, this experience was marked by disorganization, misrepresentation (including being advertised as private when it clearly was not), poor communication, and unequal treatment. I strongly recommend choosing a different tour operator and tour altogether.

A must visit. Children and adults loved it. Our guide was very nice.she was always engaging and communicating with us. The journey to the desert was fun.

Excellent tour

Amanda_S, Apr 2026
I had an absolutely unforgettable day in the Agafay Desert! From start to finish, everything was beautifully organised and full of warmth. Our guide, Khadija Ihabe, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and made sure everyone felt comfortable throughout the experience. Despite a small change in the pick-up time, communication was clear and professional, and it actually worked out perfectly to make the most of the daylight. The journey from Marrakech to the desert was smooth, and arriving in Agafay felt like stepping into another world. The landscape is breathtaking—vast, peaceful, and incredibly unique. The desert experience itself was magical. From the scenic views to the atmosphere as the sun began to set, every moment felt special. Everything flowed seamlessly, and it felt like a well-curated experience rather than just a standard tour. My favourite part was the atv. I would highly recommend this Agafay Desert trip to anyone visiting Morocco—it’s a perfect escape from the city and a truly memorable adventure. Thank you, Khadija, for such a wonderful experience!

Don’t waste a day on your holiday or your money

Amanda_G, Apr 2026
Abit of a scam and would like my money back. Stopped off at the faux women’s collective making argan oil which is a sales ploy and has the same product everywhere. The product they’re selling isn’t even made by the women which are pretending to make argan oil. Camels are kept in awful condition. They are tightly roped together up each others bottom like a human centipede and we watched them walk in a line away from the “camp” and return. No health and safety briefing on quad bikes. Steering broke on a fellow bikers vehicle and nearly went off a cliff. Dinner was average but there was no drinks other than water available. The show was some fire num chucks which were being swung around by waiters who had put on a different t shirt. The site was dirty and half built. The driver was double overtaking and was very unsafe. A few of us wanted to leave early but we couldn’t due to the organised transport.

Agafay desert tour

Vijeta_M, Apr 2026
Super fun!!!!! I loved it, and it was an experience me and my daughter will never forget :) Rabiaa was a good tour guide, and very reassuring when my daughter got scared of the camels. The RTV ride was thrilling, and the show was quite exciting. The traditional Moroccan food was tasty. Rabiaa was super nice and helped make the trip better! The only downside was the weather. It was super windy that day in particular, and dust was everywhere :( You can’t really control that, so I am not holding any grudge amidst the unforgettable trip! Shoutout to Rabiaa :)

Jovanna_W, Apr 2026
It was a great tour despite the weather. There was a lot of waiting around in between activities but each activity met our expectations. Our guide tried so hard and was really helpful.

Great family excursion

Jeremiah_C, Apr 2026
Great experience - particularly the quads, camel ride, Agafay location and meal, all at a reasonable price. Rabiaa was a friendly and attentive guide.

Excellent

James_J, Apr 2026
Everything were perfect, except the van had no air conditioning The rest we loved it Ibah was excellent guide

Sunset ride in the Agafay Desert

Sara_C, Apr 2026
The experience was fun! We went first to the worker cooperative to see how they make oil and the. Then we moved to the camp where we rode camels and quads. The experience very good I would recommend it is a good quality for the price given. Also our tour operator Soumia was super good and kind to us, she accompanied us during the experience and took care of us.
