Itinerary
This Dublin Traditional Irish Musical Pub Crawl is a fun, engaging, and informative evening of Irish culture. It’s led by two Irish musicians who provide an overview of the importance of music in Irish culture. There is a live performance at each stop you make. Drinks aren’t included with the tour (but may be purchased at your own expense); however, this tour does provide seating in private rooms at the pubs visited that night. Seats are extremely hard to come by in Dublin’s bustling pubs, and this is a special treat.
There are two evening tour times to choose from when booking and both begin in central Dublin. The earlier tour finishes at Flanagan’s for dinner, and the later tour ends at Brannigan’s off O’Connell Street. The musicians are your guides for the evening, and everyone walks together to the two pubs on the tour.

Excellent and lots of fun!
The musicians are very talented and love how they brought out the talents of those with us that night! Enjoyed the story telling and introduction to the instruments
Nice to have it in a private space so we could enjoy singing together and not be interrupted
For us it was a perfect way to cap off our week long adventure through Ireland
I highly recommend it!

Rose_B, May 2026
Enjoyable two hours of raw Irish mush at two Irish pubs with funny stories and history of musical instruments.
Terri_J, May 2026
Our tour guide Anna was fantastic. She took us to spots on the walk that were amazing & she was full of knowledge!
CarolLee_L, Apr 2026
Lots of great music with fun and interesting stories! If you’re hungry, though, eat before it starts. Not easy to get a bite while it’s going on.
Kellie_P, Apr 2026
We had a great time. Both venues were
great, plenty of space. Over 60 in attendance. Music was fantastic and so were the stories. Really glad we chose this event.
Tab_K, Apr 2026
The tour is led by 2 musicians. We liked the old Irish songs and the stories they told us about the music. They sang and played a variety of instruments. Most enjoyable evening.
Troy_B, Apr 2026
Great time. The musicians were engaging and entertaining. My group left having a much fuller understanding of irish music and the pub culture. Much different than visitinv pubs on our own time. Highly recommend.
Kim_K, Apr 2026
It was a wonderful time and a great 1st day experience as our introduction to Ireland. The performers were so fun and engaging. I highly recommend.
Stephanie_S, Mar 2026
Great fun and you’re going to learn about Irish music as well as see it in action. Booked this because we needed to stay awake after arrival in Dublin . It did that and more.

A flawless 10/10 experience! It exceeded all our expectations. The talent, entertainment, and laughter set the perfect tone for our trip, an unforgettable kickoff!
Sue_R, Oct 2025
I would highly recommend this tour, extremely enjoyable and very interactive. The music is excellent along with the stories that sit behind them all delivered with the expected wit and humour from the Irish
Susan_M, Oct 2025
Exceptionally talented Kevin (fiddle) and Booster (guitar) regaled us for over 3 hours with a variety of traditional Irish jigs, reels and tearful love songs, embellished by Irish tall tales and the poignt history of the Emerald Isle. There were visitors from 6 different countries the evening we went, and we all joined in the laughter and singing of "Johnny Jump Up" with great encouragement from Booster and Kevin!!
The seating arrangements were a first come better seating style, so my suggestion would be to arrive at least 20 minutes prior to the designated start time.
It was a memorable evening, and the Irish music will stay in your heart for years...the best kind of souvenir!!!!

So much fun! Great stories, great music… we had such a good time! And of course the audience participation.
Susan_H, Oct 2025
I absolutely loved this musical pub crawl! It was not only highly entertaining but also a wonderful way to experience and learn about traditional Irish music. The performances were beautiful, authentic, and engaging. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting!
Kathleen_K, Oct 2025
The hosts were fantastic. So talented and charming. The music was gorgeous --well played and beautifully sung. We enjoyed ourselves immensely.
Tina_I, Oct 2025
Very informative as well as entertaining and lots of fun. Lots of historical information about Irish instruments
Andrew_D, Sept 2025
Friendly and talented musicians a real taste of Ireland. Lovely pubs . The music was varied and the interaction of the musicians was very enjoyable. They injected humour and created a wonderful and relaxing atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyable.
Ros_B, Sept 2025
It's not a pub crawl (only 2 pubs) because the group is quite large. The musicians were friendly and accomplished and we learned a bit. It was OK but not fabulous and we heard music in other places once we'd left Dublin.
Susan_S, Sept 2025
This is not a musical pub crawl. I was very disappointed. There are other tours that are so much more fun to join I definitely would not recommend this one.
Response from Host, Sept 2025
I am not sure what you disliked about the tour. If you go to our website it clearly states that this is like a moving concert and goes to two privately booked pubs where the musicians perform songs and music while telling the story and history of Irish music. THe reason people like the tour so much is that you are guaranteed seats, you get to know the musicians, the music is great and highly interactive, everyone sings along. It is a night of Irish clulture music and stories and the musicians are really funny and entertaining.
Paul_R, Sept 2025
This pub crawl gave an opportunity to hear the same performers, who were good, within two unique venues (pubs). Maybe we misunderstood what constitutes a pub crawl. It was fun, but we expected greater musical diversity.
Response from Host, Oct 2025
We only visit two pubs, its best described as a moving concert. Im glad you enjoyed the music and musicians.
Annette_B, Sept 2025
So much fun!the music was great but the musicians were a lot of fun! Do it if you have a chance! Well worth it.
Iris_M, Sept 2025
Wow what a great experience! Loved the storytelling and great drinks! I would
Totally do this again!!
Timothy_P, Sept 2025
This pub crawl is a great way to get a lot out of your evening. You get songs, history, and authentic banter and audience interaction with talented and amusing musicians. You get to enjoy the vibe of different pubs and a nice stroll through town between venues. Get there early and ask the bartender for the best seating, and be sure to head out towards the next venue and get there quickly to grab good seats. For folks with mobility issues, be advised that there are often no elevators in the older buildings, and you will want to walk at a fast pace when moving to the next venue to grab optimal seating, but be prepared for more stairs.
Jannette_G, Sept 2025
Had a lot of fun. Brewster had great stories which made it fun and interesting facts that were unique
Julia_G, Sept 2025
We really enjoyed the pub crawl-it was very entertaining and informative! We learned a lot about Irish music and the instruments involved! The musician are excellent-very talented!
Christine_N, Sept 2025
Fantastic intro to traditional Irish music with personable guides who are musicians. Must do if you want more to pubs than just the pints!
Andrew_M, Aug 2025
I highly recommend this experience. It is interactive, and very enjoyable. These folks sing , tell stories and give some history. The traditional music is wonderful
Shelly_M, Aug 2025
It was a fun evening with interesting insights into the music and Irish culture. The music was great and I would have actually enjoyed more music and less talking. Going to two pubs was fun, but I think just staying at one pub would be enjoyable too since really I was hoping for a couple of hours of authentic Irish music in a designated group setting.
Robert_R, Aug 2025
Wondeful time! We had Booster and Brenda as our musician guides and they were very informative, funny, and of course performed fantastic music. Would definitely go again!
